HELP?
-
C/n comes home from work, grinning whilst staring into my e/c eyes.
"What'd you do now?" I ask him, crossing my arms into my chest. He smirks, lightly grabbing my cheeks and pressing his soft lips to mine.
Shocked, I slowly wrap my arms around his neck. "I have a surprise..." He mumbles against my lips.
"Oh yeah? What's that?" I ask him. He turns me around, covering my eyes with a blindfold and leading me.
We walk from the mud room to the kitchen, or so I assumed. "Uh C/n, what're we doing in the kitchen?" I ask him, hearing him shuffling through a box of granola bars... I think.
"I'm hungry so I'm grabbing a chocolate chip granola bar." He says. "Are you grabbing one for me too?" I ask him, linking my arms into his.
"Oh uh... of course! I'd never forget about your stomach." I slap his arm. "What was that for?!" He chuckles. "Being a meanie."
•skip de time•
"Okay now watch out, we're getting in the car." My feet flail around before finding the step and stepping onto it.
I hear C/n chuckle and slap his man boobs (aka pecks...).
"Ouch." He mumbles while he buckles me in. "C/nnnn, hurry I wanna watch tv!" I playfully yell.
I feel him rub my thigh before closing the passenger side door. "You are one confusing man..." I mumble as he makes his way to his side.

"You are gonna love this!" He tells me.
After about half an hour of driving he finally picks me up bridal style and carries me around.
He puts me down, sliding the scarf off, revealing the old camp we went to.
I cross my arms. "And may you tell me why you brought me here?" I ask him.
He smiles, intertwining our hands together. "This was where we first met. Remember, I was your camp crush in when I was in grade eight and you were in grade 5."
And then a flashback came back to me.
"The only reason I didn't tell you was because it was fun teasing you." He grins. "Well guess who found out anyways!" I giggle.
"I thought you were so cute cause you were all small and rosy cheeked." He says.
"Well, I wasn't. I was horrifying!"
"Next stop!" He says, reblindfolding me. "Ugh. I hate this."
We drive for another 30 minutes and make it to my old school.
He unblinded me and hugged the back of me. "This is where we'd sit at different tables, just staring at each other." He says, grinning.
Old school by Hedley comes on, as I automatically start crying.
"C/n, you know this makes me cry." I tell him. He embraces me, kissing my forehead. "It's our song." He says.
The next place he brings me is on top of a mountain, viewing the whole city.
"Lemme guess. First date?" He gives me a quick peck. "Mhm." He mumbles into my neck.
"Okay but what are we doing?" I ask him, still confused. "We'll get to that." He tells me. I groan.
"C'mon, next place." I nod my head and put the blindfold back on.

Last place we go is a forest, with fairy lights and Polaroids we've taken over the years. The clovers surrounding us and everything.
He pulls out his guitar and begins singing a beautiful song.
"You are my fairy..." He goes on one knee, and pulls out a velvet box, pulling it open revealing a diamond ring, glimmering in the remaining light. I gasp, covering my mouth. Tears begin streaming down my face.
"So will you marry me?"
-

Metagame
Some people get a second chance, late in life, and jump on it. Other people are on their third before they turn twenty. One was given everything they wanted, and threw it away on principle. One earned their place, but could never afford to pay the price. One never failed, right up until it mattered. One encountered nothing but failure, instead helping others achieve success. One never believed themselves worthy. One is crushed by the past, afraid of what might repeat itself. And the last never had a goal to begin with. But while nobody cared and no one was watching, they each decided to carry on in their own ways, even when that made things worse- and they did, usually, get worse. Arrows Through Reality, often called Arrows or ATR, is the world's first full-immersion Virtual Reality game, a MOBA by Granduon incorporated that didn't blow its competition out of the water, but did provide a new entry point that had millions trying their new game. Two years later, the player base has only grown, and everybody knows the most effective tactics... but while a cutting-edge AI supposedly runs the game's balance, it hasn't patched anything a single time. Well, the most effective way to do anything is subjective, right?
