"Alright."
Soon, five minutes was done and Umiko took off her weights.
"Go!" Yuzuki pushed the button.
Umiko disappeared.
Few minutes later, she appeared back, panting and sweating a lot.
Yuzuki pressed the stop button "4:16."
"Dammit! Almost a 3!" She cursed.
"Almost, Umiko. Now, I'll be teaching you the new thing. They're called, guns."
No One's POV
"Ehh?" Umiko was confused "What are guns?"
"Well, guns are weapons incorporating a metal tube from which bullets, shells, or other missiles are propelled by explosive force. Now, I'll teach you how to use them. I'll show you how to use a handgun first. Here." She tossed her a handgun and Umiko caught it in her hands, confused.
She pushed on the little ¬ shaped thing and it fired. The bullet hit a tree, creating a dent.
Umiko cringed with a, uh-oh, face.
Yuzuki sighed and rubbed her face "That's what happens when I forget to tell people to not touch anything."
"Sorry?" Umiko gave her a lopsided smile.
Yuzuki sighed again "Daijoubu. Don't touch anything this time. So, Umiko, you have to listen to me carefully. You have to hold the gun very carefully. Put your index finger across the trigger space, and your other fingers wrapped around where you hold it so you don't accidentally shoot it."
--A bunch of talking about guns later...--
"Fire!" Yuzuki ordered.
Umiko pressed on trigger on the gun and it fired, making a dent right in the second outer layer of the target.
"Did I get it?" Umiko asked hopefully.
"Almost." Yuzuki smiled.
"...Fuck this shit." Umiko said depressed.
Yuzuki deadpanned "Don't worry. That's the closest anybody shot if they can't see."
Umiko blew a rasberry at her.

Yuzki sweatdropped "Let's try to do another move that was from your clan. I think...there's one but I don't remember. Anyways, try to make a lot of your chakra to your right, hand. Then let's see what happens."
Umiko nodded. She made a lot of chakra from her abdomen area and to her fist. She didn't feel nothing at first, but then she felt enormous power into her hand and held out her thumb and first 2 fingers.
Her body moved on her own. She yelled out a battle cry and started to run towards a rock "Jikanstrine!"
She slammed the purple ball with purple lightning cackling around it into the rock. It shattered, also shattering the few rocks behind it.
She smiled and 'looked' back to Yuzuki who had her eyes wide and mouth drop.
"Did...did I do it?" Umiko asked.
Yuzuki smiled "You really are a Mikami, kid."

Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero
No, my name’s not Doug. I lied. Waking up in this hospital bed and right away I’m being questioned. They say I’m a hero, saved some girl. I don’t remember any of that. Like the stories you read, a stranger in a strange world where magic and fantasy races exist, but technology hasn’t advanced. It was all just a slice of life as I learned and grew in this world. Was… Author’s notes. Original work. First draft. Inspired by various fantasy games and books. Written with a focus on character development and interaction. Combat, progression, leveling, classes, but no numbers or stats. I’ll try to keep the language clean, PG-13, no smut. I’m in the US, writing in English. I intend to complete this story or at least bring it to a proper ending. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded. I'm new to creating. My apologies now while I learn. I have not settled on a book cover or artwork, still looking for something that fits. Registered & Protected #20VjeKDv2U6nynW6
