"I have a bad feeling" An old man said "I feel a great sense of darkness"
"What Sensei?' A girl questioned walking in
"Dear you've grown so much in the past couple weeks, I think it's time for you to go back" The old man said taking her hand "I have a bad feeling about today, I know something's going to happen"
"But their's so much more I can learn, I know their is" The girl said confused
"I know, just believe in yourself and believe in others" The old man said "I believe you will reach your true potential soon, it's time to go"
"Yes Sensei" The girl said sadly before hugging him "i'm going to miss you"
"Then don't say goodbye" the old man smiled "only, see you soon"

At Grand Sensei Dareth's Mojo Dojo, the Ninja are training a blindfolded Lloyd.
"Don't rely on your eyes. Use your ears" Cole commanded
"Uh, guys, I'm teaching a class later, so I'd appreciate a clean dojo" Dareth said as he entered the room
The Ninja ignore him and kept fighting, knocking Jay into his collection of fake trophies.
"Ah! No, no, no! No, no, no! No! No, no, no!" Dareth shouted
He opens a window and Jay gets thrown out.
Lloyd uses his Fire powers and set a small patch of carpet on fire.
"No, no, no, no!" Dareth puts it out and sighs.
"Hey, open the window! Let me in!" Jay shouted from outside
They feel the ground rumbling, Wu and Misako ran in.
Gayle on TV "NGTV reporter Gayle Gossip on the scene of what appears to be an earthquake rocking the city of Ninjago. But it's an earthquake like no other, as scientists have yet to pinpoint the cause. And more frightening still, the aftershocks are getting stronger."
"What do you think this could be?" Cole questioned
"Wouldn't be surprised if it was Garmadon. We haven't seen him for a while" Kai said
"He would never. Lloyd's father is evil, but he would never do anything to put his son in harm's way" Misako said
Wu nodded "Misako's right. He only tried to thwart his training. This is something else"
"But what is it?" Jay questioned "If only Aria was here"

"Aria, they know about Aria?" Misako questioned turning to Wu "I thought we agreed to keep her with Garmadon"
"Yes but Garmadon left her with Lloyd at Darkley's so I took her" Wu explained
"We'll talk about this later" Misako said
The city is panicking from the earthquake. A women runs to save her dog, but the ground falls under her. The ninja form a chain to reach the woman. Another chunk of the ground falls down. Cole pulls them all up.
"These things keep coming with no warning" Kai said
"That's it. A warning. The scrolls said the earthquakes would be a warning. A warning for something far worse to come" Misako said
"Far worse? What could be far worse?" Jay asked regrettingly
-
Stone Warriors appear out of the ground.
"We're under attack!" Wu shouted
"You said you trained Aria to be a ninja, where is she?" Misako questioned
"I sent her with Garmadon to get trained" Wu replied "he said he dropped her off somewhere"
"We really could use her right now" Misako said
Lloyd, Wu, and Misako get the Ultra Sonic Raider.
"We have to protect the people. Gather as many as you can and get them to our evacuation point!" Wu shouted
Nya appeared on the Raider's screen "We've got problems with that evacuation point, guys. I can't find a safe place to land!"
"Oh my" Wu said looking around at he stone worriers
The ninjas were backed into a corner, the ninja closed their eyes before they felt heat. They opened their eyes to see a wall of purple fire between them and the stone warriors. A girl jumped down from above and the flames went out. The stone warriors stepped back afraid.
"They're.. afraid?" Jay questioned
The girl turned her head to look at them, she looked about Lloyd's current age.
"The NGTV office building has a helipad on the roof, get the bounty there!" She commanded
"Yes. Higher ground." Wu agreed "Lloyd, tell Nya to head there"
The ninja ran over to the girl who walked over to Wu, Misako, and Lloyd.
"Look how much you've grown" Wu said looking at her
"No time for this, they're coming, get going" the girl ordered
"Hold on, who are you?" Lloyd questioned

"yeah" Kai said confused
The girl smiled "we'll have time to catch up, let's go"
They all ran to the NGTV building. The Stone Warriors closing in fast, the girl took out fans.
"Get inside, I'll hold them off" She said
"Are you sure you're ready?" Wu questioned worried
"No I'm not sure, but I have to try" She said facing the warriors "go!"
The Ninja, Wu and Misako started running up the stairs.
"Come on!" Misako shouted to the girl
The girl stopped fighting the Stone Warriors and ran up the stairs to the ninja.
"they're coming" She said
"Lightning up!" Lloyd shouted, him and Jay used lightning to push them down
"that won't destroy them, let's go" the girl said grabbing Lloyd's arm and pushing him up in front of her
The girl waved her fans sending burst of energy down, the first few stone warriers got cracked.
"woah" the ninja said
"Hurry!" the girl shouted and the ninja ran up with her following
They got to the top of the building, everyone cheers while Nya lands the ship.
"Hurry, they're coming" Lloyd said hurrying everyone onto the ship
"My research!" Misako shouted before turning to go back
Lloyd grabbed her "No, Mom. It's too dangerous to go back"
"It's too important to leave behind" she kisses him and runs off.
"They just keep coming!" Kai shouted
A Warrior breaks one of the boosters.
Nya gasps "Oh, no. This is bad. We have everyone. We've gotta get out of here. Our only remaining booster won't last much longer."
"We have to wait for my mom" Lloyd said worried
Wu goes to jump off the ship but the girl stops him.
"Watch after them sensei" the girl said before jumping off the ship
"Aria!" Wu shouted which caught all the ninja's attention
The Bounty flies off. Misako grabs her research, but can't climb up from the railings.
"Misako!" Aria shouted
Misako looked up at her "I can't hold on..."
"Misako, hang on!" Aria fights a few Stone Warriors.
Misako falls, but Aria grabs her and pulls her up, they run into another room and barricade the doors.
"Aria is that you?" Misako questioned looking at her
"yeah, I've grown a lot" Aria replied
"You look like your mother" Misako smiled "she would be proud of you"
"Wu said you used to do spinjitzu, do you still?" Aria questioned smirking
"He could never beat me" Misako said taking a fighting stance
The warriors bust in and they begin fighting, Aria was able to crack some. They are surrounded by too many Warriors.
"Come on" Aria said grabbing Misako's arm and pulled her off the building, they land on the Bounty.
Wu ran over and hugged the both of them.
"Thank you Aria" Misako said taking Aria's hand "I had my doubts but I'm happy to know you're on the right side"
Wu's hat falls off, and a picture flies away.
Misako gave Wu his hat back "The past is past"
"But there's always the future" Wu said taking her hand as the Bounty flies out of the city.
Lloyd ran over to Aria and hugged her.
"Now who's this man" Aria said teasingly
"stop playing around you know it's me" Lloyd said
"But you're so big Lloyd, it's only been a few weeks" Aria said placing her hands on his arms
Lloyd smiled "well my dad used the mega weapons to bring back a Grundle and turned the ninja into kids, I had to use tomorrow's tea to change the ninja back to normal which also turned me into a 16 year old"
The ninja came over
"And how about you, start talking princess, why are you big?" Kai questioned
"Tea" Aria replied innocently
"How!?" The ninja questioned
"Well you see a similar thing happened to me, where I was there was this monster called a Vraal that attacked us, I used a spell to turn it older into extinction but it was my first time really using the spell and before I knew it I turned into a 16 year old" Aria explained
"well I'm loving your long hair" Kai said "it looks good on you"
"yeah and now you look even better with your new grown up clothes" Jay complemented
Aria smiled "aw thanks guys"
"Well at least we're still the same age" Lloyd said "I missed my best friend"
"Me too" Aria said taking his hand
Jay smirked
"What?" Lloyd questioned
"Oh nothing" Jay said turning his head and whistling
"So what's a Vraal?" Cole questioned
"It's a creature you never want to meet in your life" Aria replied "I was lucky"
"You've gotten a lot stronger" Zane complemented "You've been working as hard as Lloyd haven't you"
"Ever since growing older I've been progressing faster" Aria said
"Me too" Lloyd said "I'm just afraid of having to face my father"
"Don't worry whatever happens I'll be right here" Aria said warmly
Lloyd hugged "Thank you Aria"

The Infinite Labyrinth
(Story complete - Book 1 "Shanghaied", 2 "Shortcuts", 3 "Secrets" and 4 "Sanctions") It is the 19th century, and war smoulders between England and France. Any hope for a quick end to Napoleon's rampage across Europe ended when the Great Gates opened in 1800. For a fortunate few, the strange world of the Infinite Labyrinth offers opportunities, strange descriptors popping in their minds, informing them of growth, and status beyond that of a mere mortal. The materials and power crystal they bring back foster a new age, both military and civilian. Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. The Tyrant of the Dominion of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, has a plan. Eighteen years after the world changed, he will force it to change again. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
