The Ninja find Dr. Julien on the Endless Sea's shore.

"What was that sound? The horns?" Julien questioned

"The Celestial Clock has reached zero. Garmadon's ultimate weapon is now operational and the Final Battle between good and evil has all but begun" Wu replied

"Now Lloyd must face his father" Misako said

"But where's Nya?" Julian asked

"She's been taken by the Overlord, but we'll get her back. At the moment, there are bigger things at stake, including all of Ninjago itself" Wu answered "Lloyd, your focus gives strength to invoking the power of the Golden Dragon. You cannot lose faith now. Everything rests on your shoulders."

"But Sensei, you saw what happened when I tried to face my father. I-I froze. I can't fight him" Lloyd said sadly

"You must. It is written in the scrolls" Wu insisted

"Remember, your father is just as scared" Misako reminded him

Wu nodded "Then the battle will be decided by who is willing to fight"

"Hold the fuck on" Aria said standing in front of Lloyd "Their have been many times my sensei's have told me that I make my own destiny, but now one of them is standing here saying that Lloyd's destiny is set in stone. The green ninja is here to keep the balance between good and evil"

"Aria the balance of good and evil is out of balance right now, you and your father cannot both exist" Wu said

"So what you're saying is I'm not supposed to be alive?" Aria asked

"No that's not what i'm saying at all" Wu said quickly "Lloyd's destiny is to defeat his father and yours, it's the only way to return your powers to you"

Lloyd sighed "Then I will fight, I'll be my best"

"Lloyd you don't have to" Aria said putting her hand on his shoulder

"Yes, I do" Lloyd said

"And you won't be alone. I'll be right behind you. You have my Fire" Kai said

Cole smiled "You have my Earth"

"And my Ice" Zane added

"And Lightning" Jay finished

"We're all in this together, kid" Cole said

"What are we waiting for? Let's suit up" Lloyd said and the team prepares for battle.

"And I can't do shit" Aria said sitting down

Lloyd pulled her up "Nope you're coming too"

"Damn it Lloyd! I don't feel like dying today!" Aria shouted

Lloyd smirked "You won't die, I'd never let my princess die, I'll always be there to save her"

"all of a sudden you turn 16 and your such a flirt" Aria said blushing

"Well, I've grown up a bit" Lloyd said "let's go"

The ninja run towards Garmadon's camp. They break open the gates, but find the campsite abandoned.

Aria looked around "Where the hel-"

"-heck-" Jay interrupted

"-is everybody?" Aria finished

"And here I was all ready to release the thunder" Cole said

"The ultimate weapon is gone. We're too late" Kai said

"Look tracks" Aria pointed at big tracks

Lloyd stood next to her "Whoa. That's one big weapon"

"It appears to be heading toward the coast" Zane pointed out

"But why? Wouldn't he try to use it on us?" Lloyd questioned

"Not on us. On Ninjago. Garmadon always wanted to turn our world into his own image. Now we know how it will be done" Wu answered

"But if he starts turning things evil, the balance will shift and allow the Overlord to cross over into our world" Misako explained

"Oh great, I was hoping for a family reunion" Aria said sarcastically

"Then we have to make sure that my father never fires that weapon" Lloyd declared

The ninja ran through the forest, following the tracks to the shore.

"Um, is anyone else thinking about how this might be our final fight together?" Jay questions

"We've come a long way. It wasn't that long ago when Sensei first found us" Kai said

"Hey" Jay chuckles "You remember that time Kai thought he was the Green Ninja?"

Everyone except Kai laughs.

"I think he stretched out the green ninja gi a bit when he wore it" Aria laughed

"Oh is that why it didn't fit?" Lloyd questioned and the others laughed

"Or what about when the Hypnobrai hypnotized Cole and we had to fight him?" Zane says and the Ninja laugh.

"We should've just kicked his butt" Kai said

Lloyd laughed "Ha and you had to destroy my treehouse"

"Those idiots left me sleeping at the Monestary, I could've burned" Aria said annoyed

"Well how about that time Sensei came out of the guts of the Devourer's belly" Zane said and the Ninja groan "drinking Tea?"

"eww" Aria said laughing

"Oh, that was so gross!" Cole shouted laughing

"Yeah. I thought he was a goner" Jay said

Wu hit him with his staff "Wrong again, Mr. Emptyhead"

They see someone run in front of them.

Lloyd stopped "Whoa"

"Something is wrong here" Cole said

"I sense an evil presence" Aria said looking around "be careful"

"Above us!" Wu shouted and someone uses Spinjitzu on Cole.

Lloyd gets hit by the Spinjitzu tornado "Whoa!"

"No one does that to the Green Ninja!" Kai shouted

Aria rolled her eyes "I've knocked him down more times then I can count"

The Spinjitzu stops, revealing a dark Nya.

"Nya!" Jay shouted

"That is no longer Nya" Aria said hiding behind Lloyd "she's been turned evil by dark matter"

Nya growls.

"Garmadon must have sent her to slow us down. We have to stop them from firing that weapon" Wu says

"We just have to find a way to keep her from—" Nya hits Kai with a flail "hurting us"

" Lloyd, you go up ahead with Aria, Sensei, and Misako, while we take care of Nya" Cole said

"You don't have to tell me twice" Aria said running away with the 3

Garmadon laughs "Yes. Load the cannon. Finally, my darkest dream will now become reality" He is about to push the button

"Father, don't!" Lloyd shouts

"Lloyd!" Garmadon shouts

"What are you doing? Push the button!" The Overlord orders

"So, the balance has sent my son, my brother, my wife, and my daughter-in-law to try to stop me? It looks like my little surprise has kept the Ninja busy" Garmadon says

"Don't do it. If you alter the balance, it will allow the Overlord to cross over" Misako pleaded

"I don't want to fight you but I will if I have to. This is about more than just us. This is about what is right" Lloyd said

"Don't you see? I will never do what's right. The evil in my blood can never go away. It has corrupted every ounce of my fiber, every bone in my body. I am Lord Garmadon. Destiny took my family from me, and the only way for us to be together is to turn everything in this world into my image. Then you'll all see what I see, feel what I feel!" Garmadon shouted

"It is not too late" Misako said

"You've made your decision, and I have made mine" Garmadon pushes the button.)

The computer came on "Garmatron warming up. In T-minus 20...19...18...17..."

"Warming up? You could've warned me it had to warm up!" Garmadon shouted

"How could I? You were monologuing" The Overlord said annoyed and Aria laughed

"We have to get to the top and shut it off" Lloyd said

"Stop them!" Garmadon shouted

"How am I supposed to do anything!" Aria shouted "I have no powers!"

"Just stay near us" Lloyd commanded

"You made me come!" Aria shouted

"yeah and I stick by my choice, we gotta get to the top" Lloyd said

"We!" Aria shouted "their is no we!"

Misako blocked the Garmatron's blasters "Go!"

"...11...10...9...8 ...7..."

Aria boosts Lloyd up and he lands in the Garmatron.

"...6...5...4...3..."

Kozu pinned down Lloyd "Got you!"

"Lloyd!" Aria shouted

"...2...1." Garmatron fires a capsule of Dark matter.

"No!" Misako shouted

"We're losing" Lloyd cried

"Again!" the Overlord shouts

"Daddy stop!" Aria shouted

"The balance is shifting" Misako said

"Lloyd, you must focus and put a stop to this!" Wu shouted

Lloyd tries to destroy the Garmatron with his Energy, but Garmadon ejects him out

"You think you can stop me!?" Garmadon launches another missile.

"Our worst fears" Wu said sadly

The Overlord laughs.

"I tried" Lloyd said sadly as Aria helps him up

"It is done. The balance has shifted" Misako said

"My old friend, you've helped offset the balance" he Overlord laughs "Because of you, I can now cross over into your world. I'm finally free once again!"

Garmadon screams as a beam of light hits him. The ninja arrive

"Sorry we're late. Did we miss much?" Jay looks at Garmadon "Holy unholy"

Garmadon sees his hands turn into claws "What is happening to me?"

"Are you scared? I'm scared" Jay says

"Shut it" Aria said hitting him on the head

The Overlord possesses Garmadon. Lord Garmadon's hands morph into claws, his limbs lengthen, and the demented laughter of the Overlord issues from his newly-reptilian mouth.

"Unlike your father, the Overlord will show you no mercy Lloyd" Wu says

The Overlord laughs

"Let's do this" Lloyd says

"I need more evil, but where to attack next? Ninjago City" the Overlord says

Wu and Misako attacks the Warriors before they reload the cannon. Jay hits the Dark Matter toward the Endless Sea. Kai knocks out a Stone Scout and takes control of its blasters

Lloyd jumps up onto the Garmatron "This ends now!" He blasts his Energy on the Overlord

Cole covers Aria's eyes "you don't have to watch, it's ok"

The Overlord knocks Lloyd off of the tank. Their battle continues on the beach, briefly clashing with energy beams before Lloyd dodges and blasts his foe into the jungle. The Overlord quickly recovers and flies above the trees, delivering a brutal tackle that sends Lloyd flying.

"The battle for good and evil. I can do this for eternity, but can you? Your friends can't help you now. You are all alone" The Overlord gloats

"No, I'm not. My father is still in you. He will fight with me" Lloyd declares

Lord Garmadon briefly asserts himself from within the Overlord, begging Lloyd to stay strong—the Overlord's confusion and shock gives Lloyd an opportunity to take the offensive. They clash with their energy beams once more.

"Father! Fight him!" Lloyd shouted

"Your father is...gone!" the Overlord overpowers Lloyd and throws him.

"Lloyd!" Aria shouted

"My son!" Misako shouted

Wu, Misako, and Aria ran to Lloyd.

The Overlord laughs while pointing the cannon at him "You were always so...green" He pushes the button but the Bounty defended him. Julien jumps off before the Dark Matter can affect him, destroying the Bounty.

The Overlord growls as he reloads the cannon "This time I won't miss" He pushes the button. Aria quickly stood in front of Lloyd and took the hit.

"Aria!" The Overlord shouted

Aria fell to the floor with her hand over her heart. Wu quickly moved over to her.

"She wasn't supposed to do that!" the Overlord shouted "Enough! We don't need to waste our time with their pestering. We'll go to Ninjago City to finish this once and for all!" He makes a portal to Ninjago City.

"If they leave, that means we'll be stuck here with no way to get back! Get to the vortex, now!" Kai shouted, he jumps, but the portal disappears "Noooo!"

Lloyd opened his eyes and sat up "A-Aria, what happened to her"

"The overlord fired dark matter at you but Aria took the hit" Wu answered sadly

"Why doesn't she look like Nya?" Kai questioned as the ninja all walked over

"I.. don't know. I'm not an expert when it comes to her powers" Wu replied

"...did I win?" Lloyd questioned

"No. But you're alive" Wu said

"But the prophecy..." Lloyd falls when he tries to walk.

"Easy, kid. You've been through a lot" Jay said helping him stand

"My leg" Lloyd said looking down "Did we lose the Final Battle?"

"What's important is, we didn't lose you" Wu said

"But... we lost" Lloyd said sadly

"No"

They turned around to see Aria.

"You're ok" Kai said going to hug her but she moved out of the way

"yeah that's not a good idea, I absorbed the dark matter, if you touch me you'll turn" Aria said

"So we can't hug you anymore?" Lloyd questioned

"Not until this is all over" Aria replied

"but I lost" Lloyd said sadly

Aria stood in front of them "Destiny showed us who was stronger today. But destiny also wanted us around to fight another day. We didn't lose the battle. Today, we just lost the fight"
