"I can't believe Aria left us" Kai said

"Yeah well I don't believe it" Jay said "Aria has to have a plan"

"And she does" Nya handed them a paper "I found this in my pocket, Aria must've slipped it in there, it says "wait for my signal, you'll know it""

"That's our girl" Cole said happily

"Let's go prepare" Kai said and the ninjas ran off

The Sons of Garmadon took Lloyd to the Temple of Resurrection.

"So this is your true face, without the mask. No wonder you covered it." Lloyd said to Harumi

Harumi growled "Bite your tongue, Green Ninja. The fight is all but over"

"Where are you taking me?" Lloyd asked

"Trapped in the Palace of Secrets all my life, it gave me time to make a few...alterations, you could say. Yes, I destroyed the palace, but I was careful not to damage the Temple of Resurrection" Harumi replied

"The ninjas would've burned in that palace if I wasn't still there" Aria said as she joined them

"The Ninja have survived. They are in the city" Ultra Violet informed them

"What was that you said about the fight being over?" Lloyd questioned smugly

"Let them come. If anyone tries to stop me, I always have my insurance policy" Harumi points to Misako getting thrown into a cage.

"Mom!" Lloyd shouted

"Lloyd? She's crazy. She wants to bring back your father" Misako said

"I've been so looking forward to this...family reunion" Harumi laughed

"Let her go. This is between us" Lloyd said angrily

Harumi smirked "No, Lloyd. There was never anything between us. It hurts, doesn't it? There's nothing more powerful than a blow to the heart. We found her after she tracked down young Wu. Helpful of her. Prepare the ceremony. We begin at nightfall"

"I won't let you get away with this" Lloyd said angrily

"Or what greenie" Aria faked whimpered "or you'll cry"

The Son's of Garmadon laughed

"Aria your mom and my mom were friends, would your mother want this" Lloyd questioned desperately

Aria looked him in the eyes "I wouldn't know, she's dead"

The Sons of Garmadon have Lloyd trapped in another cage.

"What are you doing?" Lloyd questioned

"The three Oni Masks alone won't bring back your father. For the ritual to succeed, I also need a hair from the son" Harumi plucks his hair "and from the wife" Mr. E lowers Misako's cage, making Lloyd's go up, she plucks her hair.

"And I already collected one from the brother, dear little Wu. So are we all ready to begin?" Harumi questioned

Aria came down with her spell book "Ready"

Ultra Violet, Killow, and Mr. E goes to Harumi with the masks.

"Good. You've brought the masks. Any trouble?" Harumi asked

"Nothing the others can't handle" Killow replied

"Then the ceremony is ready" Harumi said

"I get it. I hurt you. And you want to hurt me, but isn't the way. You don't have to do this. We will stop you" Lloyd said and the Sons of Garmadon laugh.

Ultra Violet laughed "Hear that? They'll stop you"

"You put too much faith in your friends, Lloyd" Harumi said "Place the masks in position"

They did and Aria handed her spell book to Harumi and she began reading "Clotho venge. Clotho decer. Clotho haeed!"

Misako panicked "Lloyd, it's starting. Where are the Ninja?"

Harumi kept going "Clotho venge. Clotho decer. Clotho haeed!"

"Don't, Rumi! This isn't you!" Lloyd shouted

"Clotho venge! Clotho decer! Clotho haeed!"

Aria looked around and closed her eyes.

"Clotho venge! Clotho decer! Clotho haeed! Rip the fabric between realms! Oni, I call upon you! Connect me to...the Departed Realm! Yes"

The portal started opening

"I call upon thee lord of many names. Lord of Destruction! King of Shadows! Lord Garmadon! Garmadon!" Harumi shouted

"Leave my father alone!" Lloyd shouted

Aria opened her eyes and held her hand out, her spell book went flying into her hands.

"Aria what are you doing!" Harumi shouted

Aria shapeshifted into a wolf and howled

"Did you hear that?" Jay questioned

"That sounded like Aria's wolf howl" Cole replied

"Quick that's the signal" Kai said

The ninjas all came in and attacked the Sons of Garmadon.

"The Ninja!" Harumi shouted

"Wait! There's a trap!" Lloyd shouted

Before they submerge Lloyd into the water.

"My son. Help him" Misako said

Aria(still in her wolf form) jumped into the water.

"Aria got him, we'll get you" Cole said running over to Misako and breaking open her cage

Underwater Aria paddled to Lloyd's cage he moved back as Aria grabbed hold of the cage's bars with her teeth and ripped it open, Lloyd swam to her and put his arms around her neck as she swam them to the surface.

Lloyd climbed up and helped Aria up, she shook off the water.

Lloyd hugged her "good girl"

A knife was thrown and hit Aria's shoulder, she whined loudly. Lloyd angrily used his energy to create a shockwave that knocked out the Sons of Garmadon and Harumi. Aria shifted back to her human form as Lloyd pulled out the knife.

Aria laid against Lloyd's chest and he wrapped her arms around her as the Commissioner and his forces storm the area to arrest the villains with a screaming Harumi.

"You didn't fool me for a second" Lloyd said moving Aria's hair out of her face

"Just like your father Lloyd I have evil in my blood that enables me to do dark things, but I would never turn on the ninja, my family" Aria replied before closing her eyes

"Aria" Lloyd said worried

"She's only sleeping Lloyd" Misako said putting her hand on his shoulder

Lloyd looked at his mom "I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry I dragged you into this"

"You didn't drag me into anything. This isn't your fault" Misako replied

"I should have known. I should have seen through Harumi" Lloyd said

"Your only mistake is that you're trusting, and good, and see the best in people" Misako said

Lloyd looked at Aria and wrapped her bleeding shoulder in his jacket "Not anymore, I won't let anyone get hurt again"

"go help, I'll watch over her" Misako said

"thanks mom" Lloyd said as he laid Aria against the wall and kissed her forehead

Misako smiled as Lloyd walked away, Misako sat next to Aria's sleeping form "You two really love each other"

Lloyd finds Harumi in a cop car.

"Please Lloyd. You were right. This isn't me" Harumi said

Lloyd glared at her "Stop. Save it for someone who cares. It looks like you were wrong. You weren't the one who got away"

Harumi charges at Lloyd but he closes the doors on her.

"Lloyd"

Lloyd looked back at the ninjas together with Aria. Lloyd picked Aria up and kissed her. He placed her back down on her feet and placed his forehead against hers.

"I'm so sorry" Lloyd said

Aria put her hand on his cheek "It's ok, I'm fine"

"You really are the one I love" Lloyd said holding her hands

"I love you too Lloyd" Aria replied before they kissed again, longer this time

Jay squealed "My ship has returned to normal"

Aria laughed and looked at Lloyd "No matter what we face in the future I'll always be by your side"

Lloyd smiled "And I'll never let you go"

"Unless we die" Aria shurgged

Lloyd chuckled "must you always ruin a good moment"
