《daydreaming, dreamwastaken x oc》update

hey, everybody.
it's me.
update -- a dreaded title, i know. it's important though.
first of all, 200K. that's insane. thank you all so, so much for the support and i hope you'll join me when i write something more serious! means the world :)
onto today's subject.
i've been getting a lot of dms and comments asking me how i am. they're so sweet and thank you, i'm fine. school, people, family, the usual. think some of you thought i fell off the face of the earth! i haven't. but, seriously, thank you. please don't worry your busy heads about me.
you're honestly such a wholesome bunch of readers, like, it's insane. i read all of the threads and y'all are so funny. love you guys, genuinely, and thanks for joining me on this journey. i really don't wanna let you guys down and i think that's what's made me delay answering that dreaded question:
"when are you going to continue the story?"
because, to be frank,
and ahh i hate doing this to you guys because i myself hate it when authors don't finish things that they start. but let me explain.
this story has been a fluffy way for me to get through the hardest parts of lockdown, trapped in my room, not allowed to see anybody, consuming twitch on the daily. i'm sure it also was for the majority of you guys, but that's not to say that some of you aren't still going through this. i just haven't been able to get back into it, now that school's started again and i'm seeing more people. frankly, i've lost the motivation.
not that i don't love the boys. slowly catching up with all the manhunts and the dating shows that have been thrown at us, simping for andrea on insta...

anyway
'daydreaming' doesn't feel complete to me, even though the mc and sugar daddy dreamy dream got together. i'm sure a lot of you feel that way.
so, to hopefully make up for it, i've decided to compile a list of things that i planned and intended on happening. it'll be the chapter right after this one: epilogue. other than that, i guess you could say that the fic's over.
you all deserved an update. i'm sorry it's not the one that you guys wanted.

Monsters Dwell in Men
There once was a world formed by a god known as Gaia. She filled the seas and crafted the skies. She dominated her world with a fist of iron and ice. That is, until the Darkened One came. Born a mere man, The Darkened One traveled across the land like a plague, tearing Gaia's control away. In his legends, he stood tall and towering with skin gray as ash. If you defied him, he would eat your flesh from your bones, savoring your screams. He killed kings, brought nightmares to life, and devoured the remnants of Gaia. His legend will be told throughout time. Care to hear of it? Here is the sequel: Jehovah's Harmony Here is my other fiction: Biomancer: Songs of Sirens Proud initiate of The Order of Phantasmal Architects. A group of authors of quality original fiction. The Djinn's Price
Albek Shokarov, a teenager struggling to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, unwillingly enters into a contract with an entity he calls the Voice. Something changes inside him on that day, and he soon discovers that he wields a power that gives him a leg-up on the competition—though it comes at a price. Albek soon learns that the Voice isn’t the only being with an interest in him. He will soon question everything that he thought he knew about himself and his family as he is drawn deeper and deeper into a web of deceit and evil intentions. We all have a breaking point. Some may be pushed more than others, but everyone has a limit. These are the threads binding us to our identity that, once pulled taut, can't go any further without snapping. When every last thread is cut and we are left to face ourselves in a mirror, will we even recognize the person standing there? This is a tale of loss, of the powerless achieving power, of gods and men, and of the hatred and ambition that propels the founding of a legend. This is a tale of revenge. Either Albek will break his chains, or they'll break him. Updating intermittently.

Undetermined
Death and Taxes. The two insurpassable laws of the universe. So long as humans exist in this world, these things will remain. However, there is a 3rd law which has always, and will always implement itself on people. Suffering. Reincarnated in a new world, five people are forced to learn this the hard way. Placed on 'Nightmare mode' and being reincarnated as monsters, they are forced to survive under incomprehensible conditions. However it is only through suffering, that we grow as people. And it is only through suffering, that we truly become monsters. "Nightmare mode.... eh? Tell me, what exactly was this mode supposed to mean again? Were our lives supposed to become nightmares?" Without suffering, there is no change in anything. "Or were we supposed to become the nightmares?" This is the story of the antiheroes. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
