《The End》Part 4: Senior Prank Night
Advertisement
It was the middle of the night at Mystic Falls. Rosa was only there because Elena forced her to be social after skipping out on the founders party. Rosalina had always hated those parties.
Rosa was helping or more like watching Caroline, Tyler, Elena and Bonnie set up mouse traps before Matt came in and set a bunch of them off.
"Oh! Oh, come on! Seriously. Do you know how long it took for us to set all this up?" Caroline shouted as everyone else groaned. Of course Matt ruined it.
"Forgot about senior prank night, huh?" Tyler asked.
"Clearly."
"How could you forget? We've only been waiting for this since like freshmen year." Caroline said.
"Not everyone has." Rosa mumbled which earned a glare from her sister.
"Yeah, Matt. If I'm doing this, you're doing this." Elena told him.
"I'm kind of surprised any of you are doing this."
"Me too. Blame Caroline." Rosa commented.
"Caroline's making us." Bonnie added.
"We're about to be seniors. These are the memories that will stay with us forever, and if we don't—" Elena interrupted her.
"And if we don't create these memories now, then what's the point of it all?" Caroline rolled her eyes and Rosa smirked.
"Go ahead, make fun, I don't care." Caroline responded.
"You're all lame. And I've got ten more classrooms to prank." Tyler picked up his bag and left. Elena got up too about to leave.
"Hey! Where are you going?" Bonnie asked her.
"To superglue Alaric's desk shut. I'm making memories." She smiles and Caroline's face breaks out into a smile that spreads wider than Rosalina thought possible.
"I love you!" She shouted.
"Wait don't leave me." Rosa whined. Elena rolled her eyes and sighed.
"Come on you big baby." Rosa stood up and left excitedly. "I don't get why you can't even be in the same room with other people without me." Rosalina shrugged at her sisters comment. As Rosa and Elena left the classroom they passed Tyler giving other kids instructions for pranks.
"Get the faculty toilet seats, and Dana needs bodies in the gym. Let's go." He ordered them. Elena laughed quietly before opening a pair of double doors.
Suddenly they were face to face with Klaus. Rosa looked at him and then Elena who seemed to be scared.
"There's my girl." He said.
"Klaus! Rosa run." The girls turned around to run, but Klaus was already in front of them again.
"Oh my god." She whispered to herself. "Elena what the hell is happening? Who is this?" Klaus smirked at Rosa for a moment.
"Don't tell me you've forgotten our recent encounter love." He said. Rosa looked to Elena who's eyes remained on Klaus. He then turned to Elena, a frown forming on his lips. "You are supposed to be dead. What are we going to do about that?"
✰
Klaus was holding onto both twins arms as he dragged them through the schools hallways. Rosa had tears in her eyes, but Elena seemed to have a little more control over her emotions.
"You put a rather large kink in my plans, sweetheart. The whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a hybrid was to make more hybrids. I haven't been able to do that. Now my bet is, it has something to do with the fact that you're still breathing."

"Elena, what is he talking about?" Rosa asked in a shaky voice.
"If you're going to kill me, just do it!" She shouted, ignoring Rosalina's question.
"Not until I know I'm right. But I do have ways of making you suffer." He pulled the girls into the gym. A few students were already in there still setting up pranks. Suddenly Klaus spoke in an American accent which sounded weird to Rosa even after only knowing him for a few minutes. "Attention, seniors. You have officially been busted. Prank night is over. Head on home." He then walked closer to two students. A boy and a girl. Rosa recognized the girl as Dana and the boy as Chad. "You two, I remember you." He said.
"I'm sorry. Who are you?"
"Oh, don't worry. I wasn't in my right head last time we met." He tells her. He then goes up to the girl and compels her.
"Lift your foot up, please Dana." She does which confuses Rosa. He then looks to the boy. "If she drops her foot, Chad, I want you to beat her to death. Understood?" Chad nods and Rosa gasps, as tears escapes her eyes.
"Don't, Klaus. You don't have to hurt anybody." Elena told him.
"Oh, come on, love. Of course I do." Klaus walked closer to the two and brushed a strand of Rosa's hair behind her ear as she looked at him with fear in her eyes. "Maybe I could start with your dear sister." He said.
"You're not going to hurt her." Elena told him.
"And why's that?"
"Because I'll make sure you will never create your precious hybrids." She threatened. Klaus looked at Elena and then to Rosa who was forcing herself not to scream. He backed away from the girls smirking and as soon as he was far enough away Elena pulled her sister into a hug.
After a while, Dana was still struggling to keep her foot up and Klaus was obviously enjoying it. Rosa hadn't said a word since. She's been in shock.
"Keep it up." He called to Dana.
"Where's Stefan? What did you do to him?" Elena asked.
"Stefan's on a time out." He answers. Suddenly the doors burst open and Bonnie and Matt entered the gym.
"Bonnie, get out of here!" Elena shouted as Klaus rushed over to her.
"Ah, I was wondering when you'd show up. Now we can get started." He looked over at Dana who was about ready to fall. "Ah, Dana, why don't you relax? You and Chad sit tight." He turns back to Bonnie and begins to talk. "I assume you're the reason Elena's still walking around alive."
"That's right, if you want to blame someone, blame me."
"Oh, there's no need for blame, love. Just your witchy interference seems to have caused some undesirable side effects. And since you caused the problem, I'm going to have you find the fix."
Suddenly a blond girl came in, holding tight to Tyler's arm as he struggled. "Get off of me!" He shouted.
"Hush now." The blond one said.
"I'd like you all to meet my sister Rebekah. Word of warning...she can be quite mean." The girl rolled her eyes as everyone watched curiously.
"Don't be an ass." She then threw Tyler straight into Klaus's arms.

"Leave him alone!" Elena screamed.
"I'm going to make this very simple...Every time I attempt to turn a werewolf into a vampire hybrid, they die during the transition. It's quite horrible, actually." Klaus said before biting his wrist and making Tyler drink his blood.
"Oh my god." Rosa mumbled in fear as her sister watched, also afraid.
"I need you to find a way to save my hybrids, Bonnie. And for Tyler's sake...You better hurry." Suddenly Klaus snapped Tyler's neck and he falls to the floor. Rosa shocked, fear overcoming her as the others also seemed scared and surprised.
"He killed him." Matt said. Rosa looked at Matt and Tyler, as she began to cry.
"He's not dead. Klaus's blood will turn him into a vampire." Elena said.
"Can someone please tell me what's going on." Rosa asked, afraid of everything.
"Rosa, just be quiet." Elena said. Rosalina nodded, not knowing what was happening.
"And if Bonnie's successful, he'll live through his transition. Go on, then. Go and fetch your grimoires and enchantments and what-not. I'll hold on to Elena...for safe-keeping." Klaus walked over to Elena and grabbed her arm. She nodded at Bonnie who then left with Matt.
Rebekah then walked over to the girls, looking at Elena. "So this is the latest doppelgänger. The original one was much prettier." She said.
"Enough Rebekah. Take the wolf boy elsewhere, would you?" Klaus ordered his sister. The girls watched as Rebekah dragged Tyler out of the room. "Just ignore her. Petty little thing." He said.
"Please, please leave Rosa out of this. She doesn't even know about vampires and she can be compelled. Please she doesn't deserve to be involved in any of this." Elena begged on her sisters behalf.
"Well, I have actually grown quiet fond of your sisters presence so I think I'd like her to stay." Rosa was practically trembling in fear.
"Please Klaus."
"You don't tell me what to do." He told her.
✰
Elena was now comforting Dana and Chad when Stefan entered the room. Elena stood up and looked at him.
"Stefan." He didn't even look at her.
"Klaus."
"Come to save your damsel, mate?" Klaus asked.
"I came to ask for your forgiveness. And pledge my loyalty." Stefan told him. Elena looked at him confused and so did Rosa. She was beyond confused and scared right now, but she had always thought Stefan was a good guy.
"Well you broke that pledge once already."
"Elena means nothing to me anymore. And whatever you ask of me...I will do." He told her. Rosa held Elena's hand to attempt at stopping them both from crying.
"Fair enough. Let's drink on it." He said. He then pointed to Dana and Chad and smirked. "Kill them. What are you waiting for? Kill them."
"No! Stefan, don't. He's not going to hurt me. He already said—" Suddenly Klaus slapped Elena across the face and she falls to the floor.
"No!" Rosa screamed.
Stefan ran over to Klaus, fangs hanging from his mouth. Klaus then grabbed him by the throat.
"She means nothing to you? Your lies just keep piling up."
"Let her go! I'll do whatever you want, you have my word." Stefan told him.
"Your word doesn't mean much. I lived by your word all summer, during which time I never had to resort to this." Klaus then leans closer to Stefan and compels him. "Stop fighting."
"Don't do this." Stefan argued.
"I didn't want to. All I wanted was your allegiance. Now I'm going to have to take it." He said angrily.
"Don't...don't."
"You will do exactly as I say when I say it. You will not run, you will not hide, you will simply just obey."
"No. Stefan!" Elena shouted.
"Now kill them. Ripper." He said. Stefan rushed over to Dana, taking a bite of her neck, drinking her blood and leaving her dead on the floor.
"No!" Rosalina screamed and fell to the floor. Tears staining her face.
Stefan was now feeding on Chad as Klaus smirked at Rosa and Elena.
"It's always nice to see a vampire in his true element. The species has become such a broody lot." Elena frowned and shook her head.
"No. You did this to him."
"I invited him to the party, love. He's the one dancing on the table." Rebekah suddenly ran into the room and rushes toward Elena.
"Where is it? Where's my necklace?"
"What are you taking about?" Klaus asked his sister.
"She had my necklace. Look." Rebekah showed Klaus a picture on what looked to be Caroline's phone.
"Well, well. More lies."
"Where is it?" Rebekah continued to ask.
"I don't have it anymore." Elena told her.
"You're lying!" Rebekah screamed. She speeds over to Elena and bites her neck.
"Stop it! She's telling the truth!" Rosa shouted. Klaus stopped Rebekah and moved her aside.
"Knock it off!" He scolded his sister.
"Make her tell me where it is, Nik!" She whined. Rosa didn't know if she should be afraid or laugh. A whiny vampire was threatening her sister for a necklace.
Klaus walked toward Elena who's hand was covering her neck. "Where's the necklace, sweetheart? Be honest."
"I'm telling the truth. Katherine stole it." She told him.
"Who's Katherine?" Rosa asked, but received no answer.
"Katerina. Of course. Well, that's unfortunate. If we had the necklace it would make things a whole lot easier for your witch, but since we're doing this the hard way, let's put a clock on it, shall we?" He turns to the clock and a buzzer sound goes off as the time appeared on the board. "Twenty minutes. If Bonnie hasn't found a solution by then, I want you to feed again. Only this time, I want you to feed on Elena. You know you want to."
"No, Klaus! Don't do this to him!" Elena screamed.
"Please don't hurt her." Rose cried, begging to Klaus.
"No one leaves. If either of them try to run, fracture their spine." He said.
Rebekah looked at the two before leaving with Klaus.
"Elena please tell me what's going on." Rosa cried.
"Rosa just shut up! There are more important things happening right now then you needing to be caught up." She yelled at her sister. Rosa nodded, tears filling her eyes.

The Realm Beneath: A Dungeon Story
This is the story of a dungeon, not a reincarnated soul or a human trapped in a soul gem, but a dungeon. Born as a dungeon, it lives as a dungeon, and kills like a dungeon. Guided only by its experiences, vague ideas and knowledge from somewhere else and the mysterious system that greets it upon awakening it strives to build and live and learn. Immerse yourself in the tale as you read about the dungeon and the adventurers that challenge its depths, puzzles, traps and creatures. Read about the realm beneath as a world comes to life within a mountain in the centre of the land. Forests, swamps, deserts, tundra and more can all be found in the cavernous chambers that blossom with life. Author's note. There is an overarching plot that is more than just the dungeon getting bigger. I will be uploading at least one chapter a week until furthur updates on my schedule get posted and hopefully more once I finish off the other book i'm working on. You can expect me to try and craft unique challenges and floors, stuff you most likely haven't seen before in dungeon books whilst still having a hopefully decent plot. I can't promise much about it but I will certainly read all the comments, respond where appropriate and take on board suggestions. I promise to keep you updated and not drop away without saying anything. I would consider this to be part of the writers pledge but if circumstances force my hand I may have to drop it. (no plans) A Note on tags: Profanity: Not excessive but where i find appropriate. Gore: Well that depends how well I do my job doesn't it. If I can paint a vivid picture that has the potential to be gory, then my writing may be to an acceptable quality. Traumatising content: Again, this depends on my skill as a writer, I guess I hope you find it traumatising - no that’s not right. Well you know what I mean anyway. Hopefully I can paint a vivid picture in your mind that makes the book all the more special.

Almost a Good Person
A memory, a memory of a boy who wanted more than pain, of a girl who wanted more than death, and an Isle that should not exist. The Isle of Red is a small, unassuming, quiet place. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. A beacon in the storm to show him the stunning pastels and brightness the sun may yet refract through his thinner, sharper pieces. Theoline will lead as she always has- well not always, not yet. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. And still, there is earth beneath me, a noisy pub down the road from me, and several people clucking conspiratorially on a balcony above me. She knows... that the Isle of Red doesn't belong here. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello!
