《The End》Part 17: Someone Liked Her

"So we are helping Stefan. What a turn of events." Rosa mumbled sarcastically as her and Elena stood inside the back exit of the grill waiting for whatever was about to happen. Rosa honestly wasn't sure what she should be expecting considering no one actually bothered to tell her.
They hear Finn running to grab the stake when Matt and Elena burst out of the door, Rosa following, gripping her own stake tightly, just in case she needed to use it.
Elena takes her crossbow and shoots Finn in the stomach and Matt takes his own stake a stabs Finn directly in the heart.
"No!" The red headed woman screamed. She ran down the steps to Finn's side and suddenly Rosa felt bad about this whole plan. Rosa is dragged back inside the building by her sister and closes the door.
Elena looked at her sister who was staring at the closed door. She seemed upset or maybe scared or maybe she regretted it. Elena couldn't really tell.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"That didn't feel as good as I thought it would." Rosa mumbled and Elena didn't question it further. It hit her. Klaus was dead. He died hating her. Rosa shook the thought out of her head. He probably hadn't thought of her since. She's supposed to be happy, they did it. But she wasn't. She just felt empty.
After everything happened Stefan, Elena and Rosa all went to Stefan's house. As they entered the library they found Caroline sitting on the couch.
"Hey. How's Alaric?" Elena asked.
"He'll be ok. I gave him a bottle of Bonnie's herbs and he went home. Oh, did you guys kill Finn, did it work?" She asked.
"Nothing worked until I see Klaus's dead body myself." Stefan told them. Elena's phone began to ring and she answered. It was Bonnie.
Apparently Klaus still had Damon even though he should have died. And Bonnie's upset because she unlinked them because Klaus threatened Jeremy and her mom. Rosa didn't blame Bonnie, though. She would have done the same thing.
Stefan was about to leave, but Elena kept following him. "Stay with Caroline. I'll call you when it's over." He told her.
"Stefan, stop. Klaus is stronger than you, we need another plan." Elena said.
"What we need is a plan for Klaus to be dead." Stefan was about to walk away when Elena grabs him and turns him around.
"Stefan, stop it! You're acting on anger!" Elena shouted.
"Anger gets things done, Elena."
"Or it'll get you killed! It'll get Damon killed along with you." Elena said.
"Klaus does not get to survive this. Not after everything he took from me." Stefan walked out the door and slammed it in Elena's face making her flinch.
"I mess well-adjusted Stefan." Caroline mumbled as she came into the hall.
"I miss when I thought everybody was human." Rosa added on to Caroline's comment.
Suddenly the door reopened and Stefan is thrown through it. The red-headed woman from before enters and it's easy to see how angry she is.
"Ding dong." She says. Caroline runs at the woman, but is thrown to the ground. "I'm not here for you. I'm here for him."
Elena quickly grabs her sisters hand and runs out the front door, but a man blocks there path. "I don't think so."
The twins watch as the woman walks up to Stefan. "I had to kill him, Sage." Stefan said.

"Oh, you remember me." She said and kicked Stefan and he flies into a chair. Rosa and Elena both gasped. "Good. Then you know I like to go all ten rounds." Suddenly she starts to cough and blood drips down from her nose.
"Sage?" The man asks. Stefan stands up, but Sage throws a punch at him. Stefan grabs her fist and throws Sage to the ground. She then starts to cough up more blood.
"Troy, help me!" Sage shouted. Troy releases the twins and goes over to Sage. He bends over and behind to cough up blood.
"What's happening?" Rosa asks and Elena shrugs. They watch as Sage and Troy stop coughing and lay on the ground.
"She just died!" Elena shouted.
"So, Sage and this Troy guy die within an hour of Finn." Caroline noted and Rosa looks at them confused.
"But why? Were they bitten by a hybrid or...?" Elena asked.
"Hybrid bites don't look like that. Maybe Sage was so in love with Finn she just died of sadness." Caroline said.
"Seriously? That can happen? Wow, that's lame." Rosa told them. The others looked at Rosa and she just shrugged it off.
"No, that doesn't explain Troy." Elena said.
"It's the blood." Rosa gave Stefan a confused look. "The bloodline. It has to be. Think about it: Finn turned Sage, Sage turned Troy. They're all part of the same vampire bloodline that originated with Finn."
"Wait, so when an Original dies every vampire turned from their bloodline dies along with them? Because that would mean..." Caroline starts.
"If the Originals die, so do all of you. The entire vampire species would...it's just be dead." Elena told them.
"Oh well, that sucks." Rosa commented with a sigh. She noticed everyone was staring at her. "Sorry, I'll really miss you Care. I could live without Stefan, no offense." Everyone continued to stare at her, but she didn't really care.
—
Stefan went to go save Damon and currently Caroline, Elena and Rosa were still at the Salvatore house.
Rosa was sitting on the couch watching Elena try to clean up the mess left from the fight with Sage and Troy. Caroline walked in from outside a sighed.
"Vampire disposal. Not my strong suit. Uck. Where'd Stefan go?" Caroline asked.
"Trading the stakes for Damon." Elena responded.
"All of them?"
"No, not all of them. We still have uh—enough to kill three out of the four of them. If we can figure out who to save." Elena told the blonde.
"How are we supposed to do that?"
"I have no idea. You were turned with Damon's blood, and Damon and Stefan were turned by Katherine, and we know that Katherine was turned by a vampire named Rose."
"Well who turned Rose?" Caroline asked.
"We don't know. But it can only link back to one Original and if the odds are in our favor, hopefully it won't be Klaus. So that we can still kill him." Elena said.
"I'm sure you guys can figure it out. Can't be that hard." Rosa told them.
"Says someone who hasn't tried." Rosa smirked at her sister. Caroline suddenly looked around, worried.
"Guys?" Caroline then stands up. "Even if Klaus didn't create our bloodline, we know for a fact that he turned one of us." Rosa stood up and walked over to her friend and gave her an apologetic look.

"Tyler." Rosa mumbled.
"Oh my god. Tyler. If we kill Klaus, then Tyler will die." Elena added. Rosa went in to hug Caroline.
—
After a while Rosa convinced Elena to let Rosa take the car. Elena wanted to stay and wait for Stefan and Rosa had had just about enough of vampire stuff for the day.
She was driving home when she got a phone call. Of course she declined it and that's when her car stopped.
"Seriously?" She mumbled to herself as she unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car.
"Isn't it a little dangerous to be out here all by yourself at night?" Rosa turned around to see Klaus standing in the dark, slowly walking closer to her.
Rosa backed away slowly knowing that she no longer has the stake. She was about to open her car door when Klaus speeded in front of her.
"I'm not going to hurt you." He said.
"I've heard that before." Rosa answered. Klaus licked his lips and then into Rosa's eyes. "Also what did you do because this is Elena's car and she's gonna kill me...you know if you don't do it first."
"Someone's feeling brave today." He said with a smirk. Rosa shrugged.
"I've had a rough day." She told him. "So are you planning on killing me or not because I have things to do."
"I'm sure you've heard my brother is dead."
"I did. I'm sure you've heard I was there." Rosa saw Klaus tense a bit, but he smile looked into Rosa's eyes.
"You didn't kill him."
"Maybe not, but I was part of it. We both know that whatever weird thing you have for me is just that. A weird thing that you know would never work."
"And why's that?" Rosa tilted her head and let out a deep breath.
"Well for starters, I hate you." She told him. "But if that's not enough, I'm a human."
"That can always change."
"Fix whatever you did to my car and leave me the hell alone, Klaus. I don't know what sick game you're playing, but I'm done." She told him.
"Rosalina, please just give me a chance." Rosa scoffed and began to walk away. "Where are you going?"
"Away from you!" She shouted.
"Rosalina, please stop." Klaus said. She didn't. Rosa kept watching. "Please just stop for a moment." Rosa turned around and was about to say something when Klaus suddenly screamed her name. She turned back around to see a car headed straight for her. Before she knew it Rosa was pushed up against a tree and Klaus stood in front of her, his hands resting on the tree.
"Thanks." She said in a huff.
"You're very welcome." He whispered. Klaus looked down at her arm and sighed. "You're bleeding."
"What?" Rosa looked down at her arm to see a slit in her sleeve, blood pouring out. "Shit." She muttered under her breath.
"I can heal you." Klaus told her.
"No, I'm fine. Please just leave me alone." She said and began to walk back to her car. "What did you do to the car so I can fix it?" She asked.
"I made a leak in the gas." He told her.
"Are you kidding me? This is my sisters car." Rosa complained. Klaus sighed.
"I will get it fixed." Rosa raised her eyebrow at Klaus's strange gesture.
"Why?"
"It will give me another excuse to see you." Rosa scoffed and shook her head.
"Why do you like me?"
"What's not to like. You're beautiful, brave, funny and you make me feel something." Rosa couldn't help the blush that spread across her face even though she tried to stop it.
"Not according to everyone else in this stupid town." Rosa said and suddenly winced. Klaus watched as she glanced at her bleeding arm.
"Well I think you're great. Now let me heal you."
"No." Suddenly Klaus bit his arm and rushed over to Rosa, forcing it in her mouth. Rosa pushed on his arm and tried to cry for help in a muffled voice. As soon as Klaus moved his arm Rosa spit out some blood and looked at Klaus in fear.
"I wasn't going to let you remain hurt. And I promise the blood will be out of your system before you know it."
"Whatever. I have to get home and you kind of broke the car so...I should start walking." Klaus nodded.
"Allow me to escort you. Maybe on the way you could tell me a little bit more about you." Rosa didn't argue because as much as she hated it, she liked having someone with her right now. She liked that someone liked her for her. He never expects anything more and he lets her make mistakes. Because she definitely makes a lot of them. "Tell me Rosalina, would you ever want to become a vampire?"
"No." Klaus would never admit how hurt he was by the quickness of her answer.
"Why not?"
"Because I could never leave Jeremy and Elena behind. Plus I already hate my life, no need for it to go on any longer than it has to." Klaus nodded.
"You're really close with your family." Klaus commented.
"I guess. I mean me and Jeremy are best friends."
"What about Elena?" Rosa sighed.
"Elena is my twin sister and I'll always love her, but it's hard sometimes."
"Families are hard."
"They're even harder when half of them are dead." Rosa said and frowned slightly. She didn't mean it to hurt Klaus, but it reminded Rosa that he's not a good person, but he was good to her. "To be honest, I don't know what I would do told I lost anyone else. I think I might lose it, even if the next person to die was Matt. And I hate Matt."
"Why's that?"
"Have you met him?" Klaus laughed. "He and Elena used to date and it was awful. That's when Elena really started to change and Matt always treated me terribly and Elena joined in on it."
"Have you ever dated anyone?"
"No." Rosa said almost laughing. "No one has ever wanted to...until you." She said with a half smile.
"So you've never kissed anyone?" He asked her.
"No, I thankfully have done that. I had my first kiss with Tyler Lockwood of all people at a party. We were playing spin the bottle." She said while laughing, but Klaus didn't laugh. He seemed almost angry. "Thanks for bringing me home. Now I'm expecting the car to be fixed and in my driveway by the time I wake up tomorrow. Bye, Klaus."
"Goodnight Rosalina."
