Third Person POV

Light shone through the windows of the 'EraserMic' household. Aizawa lay awake in bed, cuddling his husband, Hizashi. Usually being close to the man he loved would send him off to sleep, but not today. One of the reasons being that he's been up practically the whole night on a mission. And coming home 3 hours before you're supposed to wake up and go to work, isn't the best for anyone. But at least he didn't have work today.

Truth be told, he was tired though.

Soon enough, Mic stirred awake, and smiled softly at the latter. "Morning, Shouta..."

"Hey 'Zashi."

"You think we're ready for that interview?"

"Hell no. But we've stalled long enough..."

An hour or so later, the couple were dressed and ready to go in for the interview. What would it be about? Well, they were almost certain that it would be about their personal life in some way. That might not be too concerning for them if the two heroes were nothing more than allies, but this is not the case. Not only are they both gay, but married as well. They know that questions about their sexuality will be brought up in the spirit of Pride Month, so that's a bit of a problem.

Why is that a problem? A lot of reasons actually;

For one, they know that at least 50% of the news stations' hosts are homophobic. Two, their marriage has been kept under wraps for 3 years, and not even class 1-A knows. Three, since they haven't told anybody, the couple doesn't really know if Nedzu would accept them for it. The bear was of course a nice guy, but anything could happen that would tip him off.

But nonetheless, they had to come clean.

Soon enough they got to the news station (with little to no people noticing them surprisingly), and waited in the lobby for it to start. Everything was going really smooth..a bit too smooth. For Yamada, anyways. Aizawa was still tired(as always), so he didn't care at the moment.

He didn't have time to think about that now though. "Mr. Eraserhead and Present Mic, the host is ready for you." the new assistant chimed, gesturing to the recording room. The two nodded and headed inside.

I:Hello, you little hero fans, and welcome back to another hero interview! Today we once again have Eraserhead and Present Mic! Welcome back, Pro Heroes! It's been quite some time since our last interview!

P:Yeah, I guess so.

E:Whatever, let's just get this over with so I can sleep...

I:Heard and noted! My dear assistant, you have the question papers, correct?

A:Y-Yes, here you do ma'am.

I:Thank you dearie, that will be all, you can head home.

A:T-Thank you, ma'am.

I:Isn't she wonderful?

P:Uhm...yeah...

E:I guess, but you seem a little too happy for the interview today.

P:Oh, lighten up, Eraser! I'm sure it's fine!

I:Roger that, Present Mic! Now, the first question is for Eraser; "On the record, how often do you actually have off days?"

E:What kind of question is that?

I:Well, it's a question that a lot of your fans ask.

P:What he means is that he actually does have some time off. But it's rare for us heroes anyways, so it doesn't happen for any of us often.

I:Ah, alrighty then! Next question; "Present Mic, have you ever actually broken glass with your quirk?"

P:Heh, you'd be surprised at how many windows I don't break!

E:That's because I have to stop him before he breaks school property.

I:Haha, gloomy as expected!

P:Yep!

E:Ugh, what's the next question?

I:Alright, alright; "Present Mic and Eraserhead,

E:Are you Ms. Joke or something? You laugh way too much.

I:Well, no but I do act like it, huh? Speaking of which; "Eraserhead, are you actually in a relationship with the Smile Hero; Ms.Joke?"

E:Hell no. We barely ever keep in contact.

P:You mean you never keep in contact with her.

I:Straight to the point, I like it!

E:Isn't that how an interview is supposed to work?

P:Well, no but-

I:Okay, million dollar question;

E:Oh god...

P:Here it comes...

I:"Present Mic and Eraserhead, what are your sexualities?"

P:And there it is...

I:What? Are you both straight, because the fans don't think that's the case, you know.

E:No no, we're not....

I:Oh. Well, that's....albeit a bit predicted but...okay.

P:Yeah so uhm,we're actually both gay,

E:And...married.

I:How long have you been married.

P:Uh...t-three years...

E:Nobody knew this yet so, we thought we'd stop stalling.

I:Ah. Well, I think we're out of time today. Thank you for joining us, we'll see you all some other time.

It's safe to say that that could've gone better.

Not only did the host scare the shit out of the heroes when they came out, but they for some reason didn't factor in the fact that the show was live, meaning that their coworkers and students now know about this. Well, they'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out what they think.

(Sorry to leave this one on a cliffhanger, I'll probably make a second part to this under a different name at some point. I just really wanna have enough of the haunted au story done before it's posted. I've gotta get back to work, see you guys later!)
