《The Nerd that turned out to be Vampire-ish [Wattys2015]》CHAPTER 50: Kidnapper's magnet.

He swiftly dragged me to the parking lot without anyone noticing how suspicious he was. Well, I can't miss out the fact that he threatened to kill me, if ever I did something weird. So obviously, I behaved the whole time, like a puppet under his control.
Mr. Bald man then brought me to his car and pinned me down on the front seat, while he securely handcuffed my wrist on the handle above my head.
Damn. Why am I so prone to being kidnapped? Maybe I'm a kidnapper's magnet.
By the distant I can see four figures, and there's no need for me to guess who they are. Kayla, Don, Keith and Tristan, is now running towards our direction. Bald man noticed them as fast as I did, instantly he sprinted towards the driver's seat.
Sadly the three failed on saving me, their faces were indescribable when they had run out of hope on catching up to us. I sighed while looking at the side mirror. Maybe I used too much luck last time, that there's nothing left for me to use now.
The thing is, my friends has no car to use to pull out another car chase. So, this situation is as good as goodbye.
"Don't worry. I was joking when I said I'd kill you." Bald man said and I just glared at him.
"Do you even realize what you just did? You'll break Don apart!" I growled at him. He's making me so angry. Don did everything he could to save his father's name, and this guy was just playing with his son.
What kind of a father would do something like that? That moment was his chance to patch things up with Don. If he would've simply told him the truth. Now, he just made everything worse than it already is.

"I have no choice." He simply said and focused on the road. I rolled my eyes, there's no point on talking to this man.
He's crazy, period.
He then looked to my side when the traffic light's gone red. "Where's your phone?" I didn't reply to his question – but my phone did. It rang inside the front pocket of my hoodie. He chuckled lightly and took it.
And without much thought, he answered it. "Kayla dear." He said calmly. "I suggest that you guys should just continue on with the search for her supplier. Maybe we'll cross paths till then." He paused and placed the speaker in front of him. "Farewell for now." He then hanged up and threw my phone outside the window.
Oh my god! He did not just...
My eyes popped open in total shock. As I watch my phone fly out from his grasp. "That was expensive! You prick!"
He simply laughed and continued driving towards the busy road. I grunted and kicked the car's floor as hard as I can, repeatedly – as a matter of fact – until I got tired.
Fuck! I sacrificed months without snacks for that phone, just to see it thrown away like that. I can't describe the rage I'm feeling right now.
Well, it's not just the phone that I'm pissed about. I'm angry at myself for chasing him at the hotel in the first place. Maybe I wouldn't have been kidnapped by now, if I stayed frozen by the door on that bathroom. Okay, here I go again, thinking about what if's – even though it won't change a thing.
Sometimes, I really suck at decision making. I am now mentally slapping myself with a metal glove.
When I started to feel pain from all the stomping, I stopped and sighed. Now, I'm simply watching the view from my window. Wondering about my friends that I left behind.

We drove to another set of unfamiliar roads and then finally stopped into a large open lot, where a private jet was sitting by the field.
Are all hunters this rich?
"We're going to see your mother." He simply said and got out of the car.
My world suddenly stopped, as those words slowly sink in to my brain. And that was the last thing I knew, before summoning Medusa in my head, turning imagination into reality. Because now, I just transformed into a statue.

Oh well, shortest chapter ever. But I can't think of any other way to end this part. So, tadaaaa~
