"What?" he stared at me. I nodded "I know, he's going to get a thing of cola right now."
Finney looked down the aisle at Vance, Finney picked up a six pack of Miller Lite, "Harriets working the register." I nodded and went to the till. Finney followed so "so he's coming over. Why?"
"He wants to know about the stuff with the police."
Finney nodded.
"Hi Harriet, we're just getting the six pack for my dad is that alright?" I smiled as she nodded and said ok.
We paid and waited at the door as Vance came up and paid for his cola. He stood beside me and Finney opened the door for us to leave. We all left and went towards my house. "Wait so am I just like walking in your house?" Vance asked. "Are you stupid? My dad would kill you. Literally," I said.
"Oh." he said.
"Maybe you should just hide outside and ill tell my dad I'm going to my friends. So you wait here and me and Finney go in. I'll be out in five minutes." I said and Finney started walking in the house, I ran up behind him. I walked in the kitchen and placed the milk in the fridge and the bread in the box. Finney came in and set the beer on the table.
"Dad can I go to my friends house?" I asked and smiled at him. He nodded and I went out "bye dad!" When I closed the door Vance looked at me "where should we go now?" he asked as I walked towards him. "Maybe your house or somewhere quiet," I said.
"Oh like that park that's all abandoned." he said and I nodded. He started walking and I followed.

He kept me on the inside of the sidewalk and talked with me about Moose and my brother. We talked the whole way to the park and shared the can of cola he had bought me.
When we got to the park we sat on the swings. "So are you going to tell me about the police?" he asked. "Oh yeah. Well they wanted to talk to me because of Amy Yamada in my class."
"Oh right, why?"
"When I tell you this you can't judge me."
He nodded.
"Well I had a dream and that dream may or may not have been true."
He looked at me like I was talking out of my ass.
"Well what was the dream about."
"Oh, yeah. It started with Bruce on his bike on a sunny day, then it changed to weird man in a mask waving and holding black balloons."
He stared at me, "was it the Grabber?"
I shrugged "I think so, I saw him taking Bruce in a black van then taking him into a basement and throwing Bruce onto a mattress."
Vances eyes were widened "Have you had any other dreams like that?"
"Plenty but I had one about Billy."
"Tell me it."
"Well he carved numbers into a wall and then the man in the mask came in and shouted. When he left he didn't lock the door so Billy waited until night and went upstairs."
Vance looked at me and frowned.
"and uhm," I started tearing up, "the dream was so vivid. He got beat by the man in the mask."
He looked at me, "I couldn't imagine dreaming about that. It sounds horrible." I nodded "the police came about that one too because they got a distress call." He looked at me "oh, who called them?"

"To be honest I thought it was you. They came the day you said all that."
"Oh wait.."
I looked at him and frowned. He laughed a bit "sorry."
We swayed on the swings until it got dark out. We talked for ages and laughed a lot, I liked him a lot now. When it got dark he got up and put his hand out "I'll walk you home," he smiled. I took his hand and got up.
He walked me home, "Maybe we should do this again sometime." I smiled "I'd love to, but only if the police come again or?"
"Or if you have a dream or you want to hang out or talk or.." he glanced at my lips and smirked. I smiled back "thanks, I might just take you up on that. Good night." I walked into my house and saw my father on the couch..

How About Heresy?
Jeffrey's a guy who's most certainly a heretic but likes to believe he's not. Like we all do. Though, being a villain, there are many do gooders that'd like to exchange a strong word— or rather fisticuffs with him. Doing the deeds of villains, he places his own strange lens of justice over it, all the while, being an absolute fool. How will Jeffrey fare against the might of the good? —————————— "You tryin' ta shill me heresy?" "Ye- I mean yesn't," That's absurd why would I shill heresy? I'm not a heretic godsdamnit! In a realm of heretics and apostles alike, what to do? Well, I'm not sure of that myself. Though I have a feeling joining a cult may not be the best action... "No way. Are we being clapped by the power of friendship?" "Indeed we are," Shite. NOTE: - Don't expect an overpowered main character, nor a weak character. Strength isn't a plot point. - This is mainly a comedy, so it ain't as dark as you think it'd be despite the numerous mentions of cultists, heretics and murder... - There isn't going to be any face slapping scenes.
