'If we do the unthinkable would
it make us look crazy
Or would it be so beautiful either way I'm sayin, If you ask me I'm ready
If you ask me I'm ready'

"You got me?" I ask king for reassurance.
"I got you, he said everything should be ready to go in a hour" He soothingly responds and I let out a small breath of relief.
"Thank you, you're a fucking life saver bro"
"You know I got you through whatever kid, plus it's kind of our fault anyways" He raspily laughs.
"Ya damn skippy, can't say I regret it though, shit was wild hectic" I chuckle bussing a quick right turn.
"That's a fact, round two when you get back?"
"Man I ain't fucking with y'all no more, I'll hit ya when I get back though" I laugh ending the call as I park in front of her brownstone.
Hopping out the car I close the door behind me stuffing my phone in my back pocket.
Jogging up the stairs I walk in the building knocking on her door.
After a few seconds I hear soft footsteps growing close to the door.
"Who is it?" She questions and I ain't say shit cause she was petty and it was like a 85/15 chance that if I said my name she would leave me standing out here.
A few seconds go by and the doorknob finally twist, gripping the knob on my end I push the door open.
"Fuck no, get out" She lightly pushes my stomach but I bulldoze in closing the door behind me.
Crossing her arms over her chest she looks at me with a blank face and look at the ground softly sighing knowing I had fucked up.
"I'm sorry for not coming to see you this past week and few days, I was just celebrating my brothers freedom and everything" I softly mumble scratching the back of my neck.

"Ok, you can leave now"
"No cause you don't really want me to leave, you just know if I stay any longer then ya little plan to be mad at me ain't gone last" I confidently smirk looking up at her and her blank face switches to a narrow glare.
"Fuck you!" She harshly spits but my smirk just grows cause she knew I was right.
"Where you wanna go for ya birthday?" I question disregarding her glare as I push past her walking in the living room plopping down on the couch.
"I'm surprised you even remember my birthday was coming up, seeing as though you completely forgot about my entire existence" She bitterly chuckles walking in the kitchen.
"Come outside with me real quick"
"You can go outside and never come back in" She retorts walking out the kitchen with a fiji bottle.
"If you come outside with me real quick I'll leave if you really want me too afterwards" I negotiate and she suspiciously eyes me.
"What's so important outside?"
"Come with me and see" I smile standing up walking out the living room and I hear her softly trailing behind.
Opening the door I walk out holding the door open for her before walking out the building.
"I know thats...." She trails looking over at me and I nod with a smile confirming her suspicion.
"Happy birthday" I smile.
Looking down at her toes she lightly sniffles and I laugh pulling her in a warm hug.
"You such a crybaby" I chuckle placing a gentle kiss on the top of her head as she squeezes me tight letting her muffled cries out.
Another minute passes before she pulls herself together using the back of her hand to wipe her tears away.
"You don't understand how much I love you" She softly mumbles.

"Where you wanna go for ya birthday?" I question again and she shrugs snuggling in my side.
"Where was you thinking about going?" I press.
"Somewhere exotic, I was leaning towards Bali but I don't know if everybody can afford to go there right now" She mumbles messing with the hem of my jacket.
"Fuck them, let's go right now. Just you and me" I smile with a shrug and she looks up at me searching my eyes to see if I was bluffing.
"Ya crazy ass serious too, how we gone do that cardi?"
"I got the PJ waiting for us at the airport right now" I smirk and her jaw slightly slacks in shock.
"How I'm gone leave the city right before my birthday? What am I going to tell everybody? How w-"
"Fuck all that, you say the word and I'm ready"
I looked over the forest in complete awe, I didn't know how bel pulled this off but I was in love with this scenery.
It was mid afternoon here and the sun was shining bright over the house, the pool water sparkled like diamonds under the suns glare.
"You like it?" She questions from behind me and I turn around quickly nodding.
"It's breathtaking, how did you air bnb this so fast?" I question in shock and she softly chuckles.
"You remember when I told you what I did for a living and I told you I was investing? This one of those investments" She smiles passing me a glass halfway filled with champagne.
"Wow bel, you never cease to blow my mind. Is all your money in properties?" I curiously question taking a sip from my glass.
"Most of it, I invested in a few established companies too. Luckily I wasn't renting this spot out though, this is actually my only property that I haven't rented out" She smiles taking a sip of her champagne as she admired the view.
"So you oversee all the properties yourself?"
"Fuck no, my financial advisor and personal realtor handle everything. I just sit back and watch the money pile up unless I directly tell them to purchase a property for me, like this one. It's ironic as fuck that you picked this island" She softly chuckles and I smile eyeing the side of her face in awe.
"I'm glad I did" I softly murmur and she turns her head looking at me with a warm smile, blushing I shyly look away towards the view.
"I can't wait to fuck in that pool" She whispers and I break out in a fit of giggles.
