"we should do that," reki pointed at the stand with the games. it was shooting a target and you could win a prize. the prizes were plushies, see where this is going?

"oh? little man is giving it a shot! give it all you got," the man chuckled loudly as xiao stepped up as the first volunteer.

the man was expecting xiao to completely miss because he was tiny and small. he also seemed to be weak but too bad for him,

xiao hit all the targets perfectly in the middle every try.

Lumine had dropped by to tell you guys that fireworks were gonna go up in the air at the end. She couldn't go out with you guys since she wanted to spend time with her brother aether.

oh to have sibling love like them.

xiao and you were planning on going to a good spot where the fireworks would look good at before it gets too crowded so you told the others to go on without y'all.

but first xiao wanted to get some food for the way in case you get hungry. that left you with reki who seemed to have something to say.

"reki? do you wanna say something? you're smiling really hard right now," you pointed out and he just hummed.

"I'm just happy for you xiao is a great guy I mean he can shoot people in the head so he can protect you."

"alright have fun on your date," reki took it as a goodbye and decided to leave you two alone now. he went to go catch up with the others while you two turned around to go find a spot.

when you found a spot up hill where the fireworks would be nice to stare at you guys sat there at the edge eating. it was a spot xiao liked to hangout at when things got too noisy.

"xiao is romantic that's a suprise," you joked laying your head on his thigh. he stared down at you telling you to shut up and you just laughed in return.

"I'll love you romantic xiao or not," you smiled reaching your hand out placing it on his cheek.

"I'll love any side of you," he gave the same energy back taking your hand before he leaned in placing his lips on yours.

you don't know if it was planned or not but either way you didn't mind. the fireworks had started and the first firework had set out in the air.

you were grateful that the person your friends chose to set you up that day was xiao.

and he was grateful that it was you too.

when everything ended xiao and you were walking to your house. it was a fun festival that you were never going to forget.

until you had received a phone call from yanfei. expecting something nice from her she had shared news with you that made you drop your phone but luckily xiao had caught it.
