Synopsis Moments after being born, the cambion began to grow at an alarming rate and everyone wanted to kill him. He knew there was much he had forgotten... he had a life before. He longed to remember it, but the memory eluded him. Truly, this was a fantasy world of might and magic, but it felt familiar somehow. At any rate, the first priority is to survive. And that meant finding something to eat... Re: Now I'm a Demon, So What? is a story about an outworlder main character, who (as of this moment) discovers he absorbs the powers and aspect of that which he consumes through his devour ability. There are a number of other interesting characters you get to meet as the political landscape is unveiled. Bonus! True, the Benefactors have a strict ban on self-aware artificial intelligence in place, but that should only prove an issue if they realize she’s an AI. The real problem is what lurks outside the city: over a million square miles of harsh, unyielding desert. And slinking between the dunes and the fissures are the mutants, looking for an easy victim.
