All my life, I thought that one of the victim of violence is woman but man can be a victim too. My uncle was 8 years younger than his wife. They always arguing about small things and end up of a big fight. My uncle was a battered husband. He always got hittin by those hard things that can injure him and being abuse but still he didn't do anything that can hurt his wife.

One day I ask my uncle about his life and why he didn't do anything and suggest to get divorce on his wife but he just gave me his saddest smile and said. "Even if the love between us is gone, I will stay beside her because we promise in front of god that we will stay for better or for worst" he said while playing the wedding ring that he was wearing. I didn't know what to react until I realize my self crying in front of him.

I just realize the saying " Hindi lahat ng kumakapit masaya pa, yung iba kumakapit parin dahil sa banal na pangakong iniwan nila"
