"I feel so sick." Lucas said holding his head.
Today Laila was being let out of the hospital then she had an appointment to check on the fetus that was living inside of her.
"My ma said when the girl is pregnant and they don't have morning sickness sometimes the boy can have it." Darion said eating on a Slim Jim.
"Shutup." Lucas frowned at him. "Baby you ready?"
Laila slowly pulled up her joggers. Still in pain she managed to get them up.
"Yeah bae hand me my slides." She said sitting down on the hospital bed.
Lucas picked them up soon as he leaned back up he started to throw up.
"Ugh shit." Darion said.
"Baby you okay?" Laila said asking Lucas as he leaned over the trash can.
He caught his breath and leaned back up. "Yeah I'm cool. Here give her these." Lucas said giving the slides to Darion.
Lucas looked at the blood in the trash can. He wasn't throwing up food it was blood. He wiped his mouth and stood up. Lucas held his stomach then he passed out.
"Lucas!" Laila cried out.
August leg shook as he sat in the emergency waiting room along with Darion, Vonte, Jay, Alijah, Di'anna, and Ming.
"Anyone seen Laila?" Ming asked interrupting the quietness.
"Lucas' cousin took her to the doctor." Darion said.
"Man what happened?" Jay asked again.
"I don't know how many times I got to tell you. We was getting ready to leave cause Laila got discharged early next thing we know he threw up but it wasn't food it was blood he stood back up and then just fell." Darion said. He was getting pissed explaining the damn story over and over again.
August saw Lucas' mother walking towards.
"Ms. Coly what they saying?" Vonte asked.
"They won't tell me anything. They took him to surgery a few minutes ago. He won't wake up either." She cried. Alijah grabbed her and started hugging her along with Ming.
Laila walked back in with his cousin.
"What's wrong?"Laila said.
"He won't wake up." August said.
"No he will....he...he got to this is his baby." She said laying her hand on her stomach.
Laila started crying then Vonte and August had to catch her cause she was about to fall.

Jay and Di'anna was on the verge of tears.
12 hours
Alijah, Ming, and Laila were sleep. Di'anna, Jay, and Vonte went to go get something to eat.
"Man it's 12:23 a.m. and ain't nobody came out and told us nothing yet!" Darion yelled.
"Calm down man. Here you go Ms.Coly." August said handing her some coffee.
"I gotta go home and get some sleep." Lucas' mother said.
"Family of Lucas Coly."
"Yes?" His mother stood up quickly.
Laila also woke up hearing his name.
"I'm sorry Ms.Coly we've did everything we could but we could not save your son."
"No..no...no not my baby that's my only baby."
Laila started crying.
"What the fuck!?" August yelled then he punched the wall.
Darion started crying he backed into the wall and slid down it.
Alijah and Ming woke up to Laila laying on the floor screaming.
"God please no!" She screamed.
"I'm sorry." The doctor said walking away.
August caught his mother who was two second away from falling to the ground.
"Lai baby it's okay." Ming said.
"No it's not he's gone. My baby's father is gone." She cried.
Today turned out to be everybody's worst day ever. 10-24-17
Laila looked at the cover of the obituary tears falling down her face. She thought all of it was a bad dream. She thought he would come and wake her up and kiss on her and make love to her and rub her stomach telling their future child that his or her daddy is there for them, but no he wasn't because he was gone.
Lucas died from his appendix erupting he ignored the signs of severe stomach pain and the lining of his stomach got messed up causing him to throw up blood and pass out.
There was knock on Laila's room. Ms.Coly is letting Laila live with her for the rest of the school year since Laila had nowhere else to go.
"Laila?" Alijah said walking in.
Laila wiped her face with the back of her hand. "What?"
"How you doing?"
"I feel like I want to die. I don't want to be on this earth. He's gone and I have no other purpose to be here." She cried.
Alijah sat of the bed hugging her and she cried.

"Laila you do have a purpose to be here. The baby in your stomach which is his baby. He left you here with a piece of him Lai." Alijah said.
Laila sat up calming herself down. "I want him to hug me and tell me it's okay." She said.
"I know you do." Alijah said.
"Give me a few minutes and I'll be down there." Laila said.
"Okay." Alijah said getting up and leaving out of the room.
Laila stood up and walking over to the mirror. "Thank you." Laila said laying her hand on her stomach.
"You welcome baby."
Laila almost jumped out of her skin. She turned around to see a spirit like figure that was Lucas.
"Baby why'd you have to leave?" Laila started crying again.
"Stop crying Lai. I left for a reason and you can't know that reason but just know I love you and our son."
"It's a boy?"
"Yeah." Lucas said smiling. "This isn't a time to be crying over me because I need you to be strong for our baby boy. I need you to graduate High School and go off to college and make something of yourself. Promise me you'll do that."
Laila smiled. "Yes baby I'll do it."
Lucas stood up and walked over towards her. Laila felt something brush against her lips.
"A kiss for you and one for our baby." He said kissing her stomach.
Laila gasped. "I love you."
"I love you too." Lucas said slowly disappearing.
Alijah walked up to August while he was leaned back on the wall drinking something out of a cup.
"What you drinking?" Alijah asked him.
"Something to ease the pain." August said.
Lucas was his bestfriend he felt like he could tell him anything and now he was gone.
"It'll be okay baby." Alijah said hugging him.
"Aye get off of me." August said moving Alijah off of him.
"Why what I do?"
"Nothin' just... I just need space." August said going into the living room.
Alijah followed him. "No tell me!" She yelled making everybody look at them.
"Lijah you causing a seen just go find Ming and Di." August said calmly.
"Baby you're drunk." Alijah said. "Talk to me."
"I'm not drunk Lijah just go!" August yelled.
Alijah looked at him then ran off crying.
"Look man I know you grieving or whatever. I know we just put our brother in the ground but you gotta tell her sooner than later because she gonna find out." Vonte said to him.
August sat his drink down and went to go find Alijah.
"Lijah?" He called her name when he walked outside.
Alijah sat by herself in the garden crying.
"Baby you gonna getcha' dress dirty." August said.
"I don't care." Alijah said.
"I'm 'sawry." He said sitting on the ground with her. He then looked up to the sky. "Even though it's been a week I miss him."
"I do too. He was funny and he was real about everything he said." Alijah said.
August chuckled. "Yeah you right about that."
Alijah laid on August's shoulder. August thought for a minute if he should tell her or not.
"Lijah? Baby sit up." He said.
"What?"
"Um...it's been a whole week maybe two since I was suppose to tell you this but um...um..-
"Get it out." Alijah laughed.
August thought she wouldn't be laughing for long.
"Well I got a baby on the way." He said.
Alijah's smile went to "what the fuck you just said?" face.
Alijah quickly stood up. "Huh? Repeat please."
"Delilah is pregnant wit' my seed." August said.
"Stop playing." Alijah said.
August looked at her like she was had two heads. "I'm not."
"So you mean to tell me you got a child on the way?"
"Yeah she's one month pregnant so this happened way befo' we got togetha'."
"That doesn't matter." Alijah said.
"It does 'cause we weren't togetha' and I'm not letting her kill my child ' cause of your issues." August said.
"My issues!? My fucking issues! I don't have any issues August you fucking do. You know what don't call nor text me. That's why you was ignoring me the whole time. I thought you were different but you're just like the rest of them." Alijah said before walking away.
August felt the need to go after her but he didn't he just stood there. "Fuck!"

Jack is intimately familiar with these terms from years of playing games, so he is shocked and excited when the entire world is integrated into a system governed by those elements. Blue Mage MC who learns skills from monsters. Skills are not intuitively known and must be trained to be able to use properly. This is not a rapid rise to power story. It's more of a pseudo-Isekai. As the setting quickly changes to a Fantasy one. (with elements of steampunk and sci-fi but not until much later) The story does not get very adventure-y until chapter 17.

The Chronicle of a Witch
It is a story about a young girl that abruptly transmigrated into the body of another young girl (at least in appearance) in another world filled with Magic. She notices that she becomes a Dungeon Master and for a thousand years... she lives a lazy life. However, one day, she lost all of her power and she is kicked out of her Dungeon! And the world's changed that video games level and classes governed the power system of the new world! What will she do as a weak and fragile girl? Will she get her power back? How will she survive in the harsh world? Author's note: I will update daily if possible and each chapter is around 2,000 words. Gores, Sexual Contents, and Traumatising Contents are limited and I try my best not to write them. However, for the progress of the story, I can't help but write some of them in the latter part of the story. However, don't expect them too much ^_^ English is not my native language, so there might be grammatical errors (maybe a lot), but I'll try to fix them, so constructive critiques will be appreciated (^_^)

The Paths of Magick
Credits: Story by Xcaliburnt. Cover Art by @Bervolart. Magick, the power to bend the laws of reality. All because of a mystical substance known as mana. Mages follow the Paths to achieve power, for there is no more addictive chase. Each Path winds and twists, forcing mages through the flames of adversity and challenge. Though the operative word is "path", the reality is far less straightforward. Instead of a road, Paths are like the branches of world trees, erupting into the heavens, intertwining, and ending in sharp snaps. Only the strongest reach the sky. There are several Paths, and many Ways to walk them—variations of the same Path, and like the stars, they are endless. Magick is the sacred flame that scours the fat, rendering the truest self. Superfluous flesh melting away to show the skeleton of one's being. A chance for ascension—apotheosis. Though not every mage works to godhood, if they survive long enough, It is inescapable. Witness the lives of those that tread the knife's edge of self-destruction. Each one intertwined in their search for answers, revenge, and, most of all: power. These individuals have all lost something precious—irreplaceable—and In search of filling the void left behind, they have taken up the mantle of a mage. Per aspera ad astra. Ad mortem vel divinitatis. (Through adversity to the stars. To death or divinity.) There is no consistent release schedule except my consistent inconsistency. Besides, there’s like a thousand pages worth of content, how can—you already read it? Goddamn. Oh, and there is a very long hiatus between volumes as I intend to edit and rewrite a lot. What to Expect: This story is progression fantasy, so expect a healthy dose of training. It's also heavy on slice of life, and it isn't entirely overarching-plot-driven. Expect characters to live their lives, and not always be on some quest to save the world. There's a lot of magic theory and discussion about it in the story. So, if you don't like impromptu lessons on sorcerous theory by traveling monster slayers, this might not be for you. But if you do like it, rejoice! For there is a lot of it. This is also heavy on prose, purple as a bruised eye. I use outdated, uneccesarily collegiate-level terms and play around with the writing style just for the heck of it. I find it fun to wax and wane poetic, and that might grate on you—I don’t plan to change this aspect of the Paths much if at all. Onto the viewer discretion is advised parts: This is grim-dark/ grim-heart. Take the tags seriously. There will be combat scenes that are brutal and horrifying. Fights to the death tend to be. This is a tale about medieval mercenaries (quite literal killers for hire), man-eating monsters, and eldritch gods beyond the material plane. Beside that, there will be traumatic events that are best left unread. I do not detail certain acts I find heinous enough, instead leaving some parts unwritten but still alludded to if not outright stated; there is simply no graphic narration thereof. This is not for the faint of heart.
