《Nick Wilde X Reader | A New Partner》Fireflies

Then, as the world became a silhouette against the sky, new tiny lights began to appear. Just one or two sparkles here and there at first, but soon more and more...
Rising from their slumber in the grass, fireflies took to the air to celebrate the arrival of dusk. They danced in the air like stars just out of your reach.
You hopped to your feet in awe and Nick soon joined you. You watched as he nonchalantly reached a paw out into the air. A lone firefly drifted by and landed on his pads for just a moment, before taking off again.
The moon rose above distant treetops, faintly lighting an outline around him in the dark. You could see the tiny scatterings of light from the fireflies on your clothes and his.
It was magical.
You both enjoyed the scenery for a while. The atmosphere eventually darkened completely, leaving only the moon and the stars.
But now it was time to go home. Your paws gently brushed his as he walked you back to the van. He opened the door for you and you hopped in.
The radio played quietly and Nick's paw rested gently on your leg as he drove back to town.
You were excited for tonight. You couldn't wait to have him for yourself back at home.
