《Candied Heart-Fatgum x reader》Chapter Twenty-Nine

Nothing could ever make me feel any happier than spending the rest of my life with the woman I love. She just made everything feel perfect. Like heaven. I don't know how Heaven could be better than this. Seeing her beautiful bedhead every morning when I wake up. Getting to see her giggle and laugh as she dances around our home as she cooks or cleans. Getting to lay down by her side every night for the rest of our lives. No, Heaven couldn't compare to how it feels to be with her. I'd give away everything to be by her side for all eternity. Kirishima and Tamaki were the two best friends I could ever have. Tamaki is my groomsman and Kirishima is my best man. I couldn't think of anyone better to fill those spots. Y/n had Nemuri as her maid of honor and made her sister Fuyumi her bridesmaid. My heart clenched at the thought of her walking down the aisle. "Heya, Tai you ready to go down?" I turned around and smiled nervously. Kirishima and Tamaki were both standing in the doorway. Both of them had on tuxedos with yellow button-ups. I had on something similar but mine had a white button-up shirt with a yellow bow-tie. My mother made me wear the bow tie. I took a deep breath and nodded.
I stepped down the aisle with hesitation, my mother held my arm as she urged me to keep moving. Behind me was Kirishima with Nemuri, and behind them was Tamaki with Fuyumi. We all stood at the alter as the doors swung open again. Eri bounced happily down the Aisle in her golden dress, her pale hair was curled up and a beautiful black, glittery bow was placed on her head. She dropped white and yellow rose petals down the aisle. She stood between Nemuri and Fuyumi. I looked out on the crowd with a big smile. My family sat in the front row in front of me. Y/n's family and close friends sat in the front row on the other side. Everyone else sat wherever they wanted. Even Endeavor stood in the back of the room, he chose to distance himself from everyone else. The door opened again and Y/n stepped through, Toshinori Yagi held her arm as they walked down. Nezu sat on her shoulder with a gleeful grin. The smile on her face was brighter than the shiniest diamond. Her dress flowed out around her, the sweetheart neckline paired with the mermaid-style bottom complimented her figure. Her hair was done in a beautiful style with a crown of mini yellow roses placed on her head. The bouquet of roses she held were yellow and white with a silky orange ribbon holding them together. I couldn't wait to have her in my arms forever. When they reached the alter, Toshinori passed her hands over to mine, Nezu climbed off of her and onto Toshinori's shoulder. Toshinori stepped off the altar and sat down on Y/n's side of the seating area. The officiant cleared his throat to get everyone's attention.

"We are gathered here today to witness the Ceremony of two lives of Miss Y/n L/n and Taishiro Toyomitsu being joined together. The bride and groom wrote their own vows, so let us listen."
I took a deep breath and held back tears. "Y/n, the first time I laid eyes on you, I had no idea that you would be the one I was searching for. You were thrown into my life, and like a hurricane, you turned my life upside down. I wouldn't have anything any other way. I want to be the one to walk with you, to love you, to guide you, and to take care of you for the rest of my life. I want to be your everything. I promise to always be there for you and I promise to love you with all my life." I studied her face as tears welled up in her gorgeous e/c eyes. She took in an unsteady breath as she got ready to speak.
"Taishiro, the day I met you, I thought it was going to be my last day. If it weren't for you swooping in to save my life, I would've never been able to fall in love with you. When I woke up and saw your face, I had never felt so happy to be alive. After that day, every time I saw you I felt my stomach tie up in knots. I realized I was in love with you after I realized that I only ever felt that way around you. Whenever I'm around you I feel happy, whole, special, and loved. I want to feel that way for the rest of my life, and I want to be by your side till death do us part. I want to be the one to hold your hand and love you for the rest of our lives." The Officiant stepped forward and held out his hands.
"Do you, Taishiro Toyomitsu, take Y/n L/n to be your lawfully wedded wife?" I felt my cheeks puff out as I smiled.
"I do." He turned to Y/n.
"Do you, Y/n L/n, take Taishiro Toyomitsu, to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Her face lit up red and her eyes filled back up with tears.
"I do!" The Officiant put out hands together and stepped back again.
"You may now exchange your rings and kiss the Bride." Nezu sauntered back down the Aisle and handed us the rings. I carefully put her rings on her finger and let her put my ring on my finger. The Officiant stepped forth again and held up our connected hands.
"I now introduce you all to Mrs. and Mr. Taishiro Toyomitsu!" All of our friends and family stood up cheering as we stepped down from the altar. As we walked down the aisle, our family and friends tossed up red rose petals. I picked Y/n up bridal style and grinned as her face turned pink. Her eyes still held tears of happiness in them as she leaned up to kiss my cheek.

The wedding was more than I could have ever dreamed of. Taishiro made sure that our wedding was something out of a romance novel. Even the reception was almost fiction-like. I felt like I was on cloud nine as we shared our first dance as a married couple. After our first dance was over, I danced with Toshinori and Nezu. I had both of them walk me down the aisle since both of them were the two people I look up to most. Nezu made it possible to finish my schooling and gave me the best job I could have asked for. Toshinori acts like a father figure towards me. He goes out of his way to make sure I have everything I need and want. I finally caught my break to sit down after dancing with Taishiro's parents. Everyone congregated around the refreshments table. I don't want this night to end, this has been the best day of my life. Someone clearing their throat behind me caught my attention. I turned to see Enji standing behind me. I was about to tell him to keep his mouth shut, but I stopped. He took a deep sigh before speaking.
"I'd like to ask for a dance. I know I should be the last one asking for anything from you, but I am trying to do better and I am trying to right all the wrong I've done. I'm not upset that Yagi was the one to hand you over to Taishiro, I completely understand why you chose him. I just want to try to be there for you and be a better father to all of you." I stared at him in complete awe. Who was this man and why did he choose to take over Endeavor's life. I inwardly chuckled to myself. This is his last chance. I thought to myself. I softly smiled up at him and stood up. "Alright Enji, let's have our father-daughter dance." He took my arm in his and walked me over to the dance floor. Hizashi saw us and I nodded to him. The instrumental version of a song I knew very well atered to play over the loud speakers of the the room.
Enji placed one hand on my shoulder and the other on my back. I copied him like a mirror and followed his movements. We did a slightly faster waltz. I kept stumbling over my own feet as he would spin me around. "Stand on my feet." his voice was low but wasn't in any way rude or threatening. "I want to tell you I didn't mean what I said. I did have an affair with your mother, but when I called it off, she told me about you. I didn't want to get rid of you, I wanted to take you home with me. I knew your mother would've never let me take you without her. So I told her to get an abortion. After that I lost contact with her. Even though I had my own family with Rei, I still somehow wished I had you in my life." He spun us back around as the song hit its high. "I know I have no room to say this, but I wanted to be there as your father. And because I was so hung up on that, and becoming the Number one hero, I neglected all of my children. I want to fix my mistakes and try to be a better father to all of you. I'm sorry for all that I've put you and your siblings through." He spun us slower as the song started to die down. "I don't expect any of you to forgive me, but I will ask for one more chance." I smiled up at him. "I will give you another chance, but I would like to know what's brought on all of this?" His sigh was heavy as his eyes softened. "All of my children hate me, for justifiable reasons, but I want to fix all I've done wrong. I don't want all of my children to hate me. I want us all to be able to reconnect again. And I want to start being there for all of you." I smiled widely as we slowed to a stop. "Of course, you can have another chance. I will give you the benefit of doubt, now for my siblings, I can't help you there. That's all on you to figure out." His face softened and his eyes were wide. "Thank you." We let go of one another and he went to walk away. "Hey, You're welcome, Father." he turned back to me and I could see the hint of a smile twitching at the edges of his lips. I felt a heavy but sofy hand rest on my shoulder. I looked up to see Taishiro, his face was full of concern and mild anger. "What did he want? He didn't do anything to ruin our big day, did he?" Tai's soft tone was hushed. I shook my head and smiled with tears in my eyes. "He wants to change. He wants to make everything right with his family, including me. He told me everything that happened between him and my mother. And a lot of it makes sense. I'm going to give him one chance to make things right, and I'm giving him mostly the benefit of the doubt." Taishiro bent down and picked me up bridal style again. "That's wonderful news sugar! Its almost time to cut the cake together!" I lightly giggled at him as he toted me off with him. "Aren't you gonna get tired of carrying me like this?" "Nope! I love you too much not to!" His answer was faster than an Olympic runner.

blacklight
So here’s the deal: my name is Kihri Vyas, and I’m dead. (That’s not really important, it happened ages ago, but it’s good to have the context.) Anyway, me and my sister Zarah (the only person who can see or hear me) have basically been on our own since I kicked the bucket, surviving on the streets of Kaila and sort of just being miserable and bored and tired a lot. I mean, I haven’t, cause I’m dead, but she has. It sucks, but that’s business as usual for us. What isn’t B-A-U is that a bunch of other homeless folks have been disappearing in the last few months, and some of them have been turning up with anatomically-improbable, but extraordinary fatal, injuries. Cops don’t give a shit, of course, and my sister’s a boneheaded bleeding heart, so we’ve been investigating them ourselves. And, well, we’ve found a bunch of weird shit. Stuff made of solid light, ghost attack dogs, people glowing black, somehow, some kind of living robot… Actually, you know what? It’s probably easier if you see for yourself. blacklight is a modern fantasy story it's not about being gay but rest assured its gay as fuck nevertheless it updates fridays at 2 p.m. AEST on its own site at https://spectrochroma.wordpress.com/ Chapters are uploaded here one week after they finish on the main site.
