Cassie's POV
This cannot be happening.
I close my eyes and take a deep breath, trying to drift away and block out the voices around me.
"The f-word is NOT to be use on school property! Do you understand that Jacob?"
"Fuck no?"
"JACOB!"
I look at him and have the intense urge to slap that idiotic smirk on his face. Can't he just nod and say he was sorry so we could get out of this mess?
I know that Mom and Dad have been trying to get me and Jake to be close for pretty much the entirety of our lives, but this was just too far. I have a life to live, things to do, I don't want to have to drag this dumbass around with me.
"You are excused," Mrs. Tampole sternly tells Jake.
"And you have Cassie to thank," she looks at me with a smile. I smile back and respond with a monotone, "sorry about all of this."
I drag Jake out of the office and take out my phone, texting my mom to get us from school, since we only had 5 minutes left of the day and I was not about to go back to health class.
"So what are we going to do about this?" Jake questions, motioning towards the handcuffs.
"We aren't going to do anything about it. I am going to ignore you as much as possible, and I have plans for tonight, so you better not ruin them." I huff.
"You have plans? Let me guess, you're going to do your physics homework then watch Netflix and eat a tub of ice cream. I mean, that's what you do every Monday night so..."
"Shut up, you don't know who I am or what I do. Just because our parents know everything about each other doesn't mean you know anything about me." Even though that was exactly what I was planning on doing, I was glad I had been able to have a comeback ready, instead of thinking of the perfect response at 11 in my bed before I fell asleep like I usually do.

I turn around and flip my long blonde hair into his face, strutting away for my epic exit, that is until I fell backwards and knocked my head into his, forgetting about the handcuffs.
"Ow! Get off of me, blondie."
I roll my eyes at his dumb nickname and dragged him to the front of the school, then walk over to where Mom's car that was parked.
After finally figuring out how to get into the car with handcuffs, we are on the way home.
"So.. How was school?" Mom questions, with a smile plastered on her face.
"Well, let's see, I found out my mother is out to get me, and forced me to be handcuffed to a demon, so that her OTP could work out and become reality, but apart from that, pretty good day."
"Hey! Who are you calling a demon?" Jake says, pouting and trying to cross his arms before having me tug his side of the handcuffs back to the middle of the car.
"Cassie! That is very rude. And when your health teacher approached us, your father and I agreed that this.. activity would build you both up and make you stronger. And if you develop feelings on the way, I mean-
"Mom!" I blush and gasp, wanting the ground to swallow me whole as Jake grins next to me, trying to stop himself from laughing.
Ugh. Why is my mom so embarrassing? I mean, that crossed the line right? She can be so weird when it comes to me and Jake. Especially after it happened, I thought she would understand that I really didn't want anything to do with him. I want to forget that it had ever happened, and that means pushing him away, which was VERY hard to do. Especially being handcuffed with him and all.

"Ok, turn around."
"What?"
"I need to get changed, and I am not about to let you see me naked."
"Pff, like I want to anyway." Jake scoffs, causing me to roll my eyes at his hurtful comment.
I start to pull one of my arms out of my sleeve, then the other-
Shit.
"Um, how are we meant to do this?" I question.
"Oh right, handcuffs." Jake nods, then walks over to my desk and grabbed a pair of scissors.
"OH HELL NO! This is one of my favorite tops! We are NOT cutting it off of me!"
"Well, what else do you propose we do?"
I look down at the scissors, deep in thought. There has to be another way. I sigh and look up at him, coming up empty handed.
"I guess.. we have to."
He nods and starts to cut my shirt.

I wince and shut my eyes, not ready for this loss just yet.
He sighs and I can feel him judging me for caring for a piece of cloth so deeply.
I open my eyes and look at him, staring at his face that is looking down, deep in concentration. His tongue is slightly sticking out of his mouth, as his eyes squint to make sure that he doesn't cut my arm (which would make me kill him btw, how hard is cutting a piece of fabric straight?? Anyway,) and he looks up, catching me staring.
I look away and clear my throat, staring at my white wall. I feel him stare at me, and my face starts to heat up.
Snip
"Done."
"Thanks... Oh wait. How do I put on my pajamas?"
He throws his head back and curses at the ceiling.
"It's ok, I'll just sleep with shorts and my bra."
He whips his head back and looks at me, his eyebrows raised.
"Are you serious?"
"Well, what else do you want to do?"
His face remains blank, and I gesture towards the bed.
We awkwardly lie down, each on the opposite sides of the bed, as far as we can possibly manage with the handcuffs.
"Goodnight," I whisper.
"Goodnight, blondie."
I close my eyes and quickly start to drift off into another world.
I am brought back to Earth when I hear mumbling and feel something heavy across my body. I open my eyes to find Jake's handcuffed arm across my body, forcing me to turn to the side. I hear him mumble something unidentifiable, and look at the clock.
I, Cassie, am spooning with Jake on a Monday night at 3:37 a.m.
Life just got weird.

Despite of his earnings,he didnt have the chance to get a ticket to the new planet.Brought down by his miserable fate, Jacob speak out to his hearts content.jacob: I guess this is it, even the gods of heavens have forsaken me.Claimed by jacob as he made his way out from the crowd. He slowly raises his head as he watched the dark grey clouds from the sky, giving out a weary smile as tears flows on both sides of his eyes.Jacob looks very miserable, as he walks away from the sideline crying in silence. He gripped his hands tightly until his fingers dugged deeply on his palms leaking out traces of blood.An unbearable pain of dying man with out any other choices hits jacobs awareness.Not far from him were hundreds and hundreds of earth people who were crying out for help just like him.Thunder came up and lightning strike the ground near them.Even the Heavens above them cannot help it but be angry with those uncanny officials of the world, saving themselves from the great tragedy. Yet whose to blame for it, that's the reality of life.Jacob walked and walk until he reached the nearby fissure. A gigantic crack because of the dying planet. Underneath were composition of melting lava and boiling magma ready to devour the land of earth. Jacob unable to see his future on the current world, jumped out ,letting himself be free from his miserable fate. As he falls down to the great fire of the earths core, he closed his eyes and wished for a new beginning.Jacob: If heavens would grant me a second life, ill promise to make it even better, ill promise that i will live it to the fullest that everyone will acknowledge the importance of worlds nature. However, i guess its not possible, if not, i wished i live in a new world. Jacob tears floated mid air as his body falls directly down to the fire blazing inferno of the earths core.sfx: Crisp!!!Like a burned paper, jacobs body fell down.Jacob could feel the heat flowing from his body, from his skin, to his flesh, to his bones and finally down to his soul. It was a surge of unbearable pain and heat, that as much as jacob wants to shout he wasnt able to , that even if he wants to move away he wasnt able to. It was a never ending torture for jacob, a literal hell of torture.Darkness covered him up. Jacob Springer died.It is said that once a person is dead, time flows in an imaginary long period. A soul is said to be affected by it, so as once consciousness, and ofcourse memory.Jacobs memory of his past rush out to his consciousness, like he is watching a preview of his past life. He wants to correct it but he can't. He can't even talk nor move. A paralized audience watching a cinematic movie, that's what Jacob is like. For a long period of time Jacob watch the movie of his life. Until darkness once again covered him up. The second death.This time, like a paralityc person, Jacob was covered in darkness. He wants to shout but he can't. He wants to move but he cannot. Time passed, and he finally lost his consciousness in the dark.The last death.It is said that in the world of darkness there is light. In death, there is life.After a very long time of being dead in the dark, a surge of distressing call of nature, rose up on the sleeping Jacob.He wants to pee, and because of it he was able to open his eyes. Light welcomed him up, a vast universe filled with light appears right in his naked eyes.Then a strong force tapped his back and his consciousness was sent flying to the vast universe.This time, a new world appear right before his naked eyes. A world different from the dead earth that Jacob knows.Then once again Jacob felt something that had bumped into him and he felt dizzy and went asleep.Time passed by and finally Jacob Springer woke up. Unable to understand what happened Jacob springer asked.Jacob: Where am i? What happened to me? Arent I dead already.Asked by jacob. Never did he know that his wish before his death was granted by the heavens.
