Cassie's POV

*3 weeks later*

Life is good. I'm finally all caught up in school, I'm closer than I've ever been with my family, and I have the perfect boyfriend who has been and always will be there for me.

That word sounds so weird still.

Boyfriend.

Whenever I tell someone or he introduces me as his girlfriend to someone, it make me smile so big.

He means so much to me. Sometimes I just stare at him and wonder how I got so lucky, something so cheesy that I thought I would never say but it's true.

And, I'm finally decently okay with what happened with Fynn. I still shutter when I hear his name, but I've accepted it. It's a part of life that I can't change, and although it will haunt me forever, I can cope with it a little better, day by day.

Jake's been amazing, considering everything. He's so understanding with everything, and whenever I freak out, he helps me calm down. I know sometimes it's kinda... hard for him. Especially when he's getting into his.. Umm.. Groove.

But I honestly feel great now a days. Life just seems so much happier and up lifting. Everything is perfect.

"Fuck, I missed you." He says through heavy breathing.

I chuckle, since the last time he saw me a couple hours ago. But that was school, which was different compared to just us being alone in our special hide out. We can talk about anything and have complete privacy. And there's a lot more making out.

I ran the palms of my hands across his bare back while he roughly grabbed my butt.

I bit his lip softly in surprise, which just seemed to turn him on more, making him press his lips harder onto mine, and quickly unzip my shorts. He separated his lips from mine and moved them down to my collarbone, sucking down hard. I tried to suppress my moans but couldn't.

"Jake, please."

He disconnected his lips and sat up, so that I was lying down and his crotch was pressed against mine. I felt empty without his touch, and I looked up at his face to see what was wrong.

"I-I'm sorry. Are you okay?"

I looked at him confused, until I understood that he had thought that I had tried to stop us because we were going too far. But I was doing just the opposite.

Before he could say anything else, I guided my hands to the back of his neck and pulled him towards him, and reconnected our lips. He quickly got the message and started to slide his hand back down to my zipper, making sure to unzip it as slowly and painfully as possible. I couldn't take it anymore and groaned, hoping he would get the hint.

He chuckled at my frustration, finding it funny how the roles had been reversed.

"Jake."

He didn't need to be told again.

He slid my shorts off and started to feel me through my underwear. I moaned loudly, not thinking I could take another second of this. I bit down on my lower lip and scratched his back as I tried to stifle the pleasure that I was feeling.

He whispered random things in my ears that I couldn't understand as I was taken away. I felt him caress my cheek, then he looked me in the eyes and said,

"I love you."

I repeated the phrase back to him, and then was taken away to another planet. I can't describe the pure feelings of ecstasy that I felt, but I can tell you one thing. It was the most magical thing that I've ever experienced in my life. And I was so happy to share it with someone that I loved so much as Jake. I loved being able to show him how much I truly loved him through and through.

It was perfect.
