December six 2017 was finally here, the day that both Matthew and Jaelyn were gonna meet for the first time in a few years.
He looked himself in the mirror taking a breath and made sure everything was fine before heading out. Today they were playing the leafs, and he was nervous as hell.
When he heard a knock on his hotel room door his eyes narrowed wondering who it could be, walking over to it he put his hand on the doorknob and twisted it open to find Johnny standing there "What do you want?" he asked
Johnny rolled his eyes at the comment "It's almost five! The bus is here, hurry or we'll be late" Matthew's eyes widen, before quickly getting his phone and shutting the door close, Johnny nudge him "What's up man? Ever since we got here you haven't been the same"
Matthew chuckled nervously "Guess you can say I'm nervous" Johnny looked at him confused before realizing what he meant "You are nervous about meeting Jaelyn?" he nodded, Johnny shook his head and patted his back "Just go and tell her you like her man!"
"I wish it could be that easy" he mumbled looking down, Johnny gladly didn't hear him and kept talking about other things before the two reach the bus with everyone outside waiting
"There he is!" Garnet said with a smile on his face, all Matthew could do was smile back weakly.

The game didn't go so well for the Flames as they lost 2-1 in a shootout with Matthew scoring the lone goal in it, and Mark scoring the 1-0 goal. He sighed shaking his head sitting down in his dressing room stall, and excited Johnny sitting beside him."Why are you so happy?" he asked him " Your meeting Jaelyn now Matt!" he breathed he forgot about it the whole game until now "Right"

They were only there for an hour before leaving for tomorrow's game which was Montreal, after quickly getting dressed and with no reporter's around him he decided to leave the dressing and meet up with Auston in which he found him leaning against the wall staring at his phone "Hey Auston"
He looked up from his phone at the sound of his name and smiled when he saw Matthew standing there "Hey Matt, ready to meet her?" he chuckled "Hope so"
They rounded to the corner of where the Maple Leafs wives and girlfriends were, Auston shouted out her name "Hey Jaelyn!" One girl turned her head around blue eyes and blond hair, from Matthew's brain that looks exactly like her. She was talking with some girls before coming over to them. "Yeah Aus?" she asked
"Yout= know Matthew Tkachuk right?" she nodded confuse written all over her face, Auston smirked "Well, he's right beside me"
Her eyes widen as she looked to his left and he was definitely right, there stood Matthew before him, Matthew gave her a small smile "Hey Auston!" The three looked over to see William waving at him he took that as his leave, leaving the two teenagers alone "Huh, do you wanna go outside?" Matthew asked point is finger to the back door, she nodded not saying a word.
"How?" Jaelyn asked as the door shut behind him, Matthew looked at her confusedly "What do you mean how?"
"Why are we meeting? Its been years Matt! This is the first time we actually had a convers-" Jaelyn was cutted off with lips being placed on her she was in surprise and shock at the same time but still kiss him back, it was a short and sweet kiss before the two let go, Jaelyn just stared at him blankly "Matthew..."

"I like you Jaelyn, more than anything," he said starting to regret what he just told her, Jaelyn looked at him unknowingly what to say when Matthew saw her face he sighed "You know what? Just forget about it, forget I ever told you" he said about to leave before Jaelyn snapped out of it her hand holding his wrist "Matt" she said he turned around and looked at her.
Jaelyn took a deep breath "I... I like you to Matthew" he blinked several times before asking "You like me?" she nodded he grinned before embracing her in a hug with made her laugh
"This is like a fanfiction all over again," she said making Matthew chuckled "You had to ruin the moment"
The two let go with smiles on both of their faces, Matthew holding her hand in his "I'll never let you go"

The Abyssal Dungeon
The world of Vol, a huge, bountiful plane where the only constant is life, in its many, many forms. One such form is a dungeon core, a peculiar little gemstone, and the focus of our attention. Watch as this otherwise unremarkable gem awakens in one of the most resplendant places in Vol, an aptly named Mana Reef, and how it turns its simple hole in the ocean floor into something truly unique, all while the rest of the world is forced to deal with its growth. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is my first venture into writing for fun, and I'm hoping to keep this running until I run out of juice. With that said, I very much enjoy dungeon core novels, and wanted to do one a bit outside the norm. Hope you enjoy! If you want to come stop by the discord, I know we'd all be more than happy to welcome you! https://discord.gg/pcR5g5XX8h

The Oscillation (No Swearing)
It was an average day in Miami—then fractures in the sky appeared. A pulse from those cracks altered the population; some people's biology changed while others received magical and supernatural powers. After the chaos, the political drama ensued, followed by the discovery of portals that brought deadly creatures. They called this event "The Oscillation" and it changed Rachel's life forever. Note: I've received some feedback that people don't like the foul language. This also included my mother, she wanted me to make a cleaner version for her. So, I thought I might as well release it alongside the more explicit version. I went back and rewrote the parts that have profanity in them. ^_^7 Cover Commissioned From Likesac ^_^7
