《Lux Storm ||The Goonies|| [EDITING]》Chapter 4

"Good enough! For you it's good enough!" I sat in front of Mikey's TV watching Cyndi Lauper's music video 'Good Enough'.
Mikey threw a marble at my back, calling me over to him, Mouth, Data, and Chunk. He started telling us what to do in a series of hand movements. We all nodded our head signaling we understood.
"Hey, Brand, how far can you stretch that thing?" I asked walking over to him.
"It's not that hard." He answered stretching it back farther. I instantly pounced on him as the guys started to pull his arms back.
"Get off of me! Get off!" Brand yelled.
When the guys traped Brands arms, we ran out the door.
"Guy's, I don't have a bike." I said.
"You can ride with me." Mouth called. He bent over and started to let the air out of Brand's wheels.
"What are you doing?" Mikey asked. "It took him 376 lawn mowing jobs to pay for that." He said as Mouth began to take out the back wheels air. "It's his most favorite thing in the world!"
"Now it's his most flattest thing in the world." Mouth said standing up and getting his bike. "Let's go, Lux." I ran to his bike and hopped up on the pegs, resting my hands on his shoulders.
We all started down the road in search of One-Eyed Willy's treasure.
We passed Mikey's dad and stopped at a gas station on the way.
I got a water bottle and a sandwich for later, stuffing them in the pockets of my oversized jean jacket.
"Guys, check it out! I know how to get here! It's Astoria! Come on guys we can get the rich stuff!" Mikey was yelling.
"Jerk alert!" Mouth called. I turned my head to the door just as Troy, Steph, and Andy were getting out of Troy's new red car. I rolled my eyes and groaned in annoyance.
Troy came over to where Mouth and I were reading magazines. He pushed us out of the way and took the magazine.

"Jerk." Mouth said.
"Asshole." I growled.
I went over to Steph and Andy at the video games, with Mouth right on my heels. As Mouth began to play a round, I decided to say something.
"Hey."
"Hey, Lux." They said in sync.
I watched as they played their games until I heard Chunk screaming. I looked over to see Chunk's face was buried in an ice cream freezer with Troy standing over him, pushing the freezer door down on Chunk.
"Hey, my mom's making a Gonnie pizza tonight." Troy teased.
"Hey, cut it out!" Mikey yelled.
"Looks like she might be needing some frozen dough."
I walked over to him and tried pulling him away, punching his arms. But, let's get real here, a fourteen year old girl can't do much justice to a seventeen year old boy, who is also the captain of the wrestling team.
"Stop it." I said. "Let him be."
Troy turned to me, pulling me up by my shirt, no doubt lifting the end of it to my bellybutton.
"Did I hear that right?" He asked in my face. "Do I hear a Goonie telling me what to do?"
My blue eyes glared at him. "Do I need to yell it for you?" I asked as my hands tried to pull the bottom of my shirt down, but to no avail.
"Oh, your feisty, what's your name again?"
"None of your goddamn business." I growled.
"I think I remember. It starts with an 'L', right?" He asked. "It's short, but kinda sexy. Lisa? Lydia? No, those aren't sexy enough." He looked at my glaring face. "Oh, that's right, Lux! Oh, that is sexy. How old are you? Your a little one." He said looking at me. "But still hot." He raised his eyebrows at me in suprise as he noticed the part of my stomach out.
"Hey, come on just let the little lady go." Mouth walked up to us. "Even if she is a hot little lady." Mouth said looking me up and down. My cheeks got hot as I looked down. Damn you, Mouth.

Mouth got serious again. "Just let her down, let's remember, she's still a girl."
"And why would I do that?" Troy asked still holding me up, but now looking at Mouth.
"Well, cause it reminds me of something."
"And what's that?"
Mouth's face got venomous. "That night I spent with your mama!"
Troy lunged at Mouth, dragging him down to the floor. I jumped on Troy's back, hitting him repeatedly.
"Lux, my hair!" Mouth yelled.
"Nobody touches Mouth's hair except me!" I screamed in outrage. I grabed a handful of Troy's hair and yanked upwards.
Troy spun around, grabbing me by the shirt.....again. He brought his fist back, ready to swing when Brand forcefully turned Troy around and grabed his shirt, much like Troy did to me.
"Nobody hits Lux." Brand seethed. Troy's eyes held fear in them. Brand let Troy go. Troy backed up into a soda rack. Almost instantly his jerk demeanor came back, but you could still tell he was scared. I crossed my arms as I stood next to Brand, glaring at Troy. Pathetic.
"I just can't wait til Monday, when my father kicks all you trash out on the street where you belong." Troy started to nervously back away. "While all you Goonies are piling all your stuff into moving vans I'll be teeing off on what used to be your front lawn!"
We were taking a step forward every time he steped back. Brand's face was painted red with anger. Troy quickly spun around and fast walked to the exit.
"Let's go!" Troy yelled at Steph and Andy. Steph was right behind him, but Andy stayed, sharing a look with brand, that didn't go unnoticed by me.
"Andy!" Troy yelled from outside. She turned around and walked out.
"Mom's been waiting for you, Mikey." Brand grabed the map out of Mikey's hand. "You just blew your whole life pal." Brand grabed Mikey's shirt (there seemed to be a lot of that lately).
"And the rest of you guy's," Brand pushed Mouth and I back. "Your all history. We don't need friends like you in our lives."
I felt a pain in my chest when brand said that. I honestly thought we were friends, Brandon and I. I felt hurt and abandoned.
"I'm sorry, Brand." I said with tears in my eyes, but I wouldn't let them fall.
"You should be, Lu---hey, are you crying?" He asked with honest worry.
"I'm not sorry for that fight with Troy." I shook my head. "I'm sorry for this." I brought my right leg up and my foot hit Brand's nuts.
"Whoa, wait to go, Lux!" Mouth praised. Brand fell to the ground holding his area. Mikey grabed his map out of Brand's hand and yelled for us to hurry up.
We ran out the door and continued on our journey to find One-Eyed Willy's rich stuff.
I hoped on the pegs of Mouth's bike and we were off.
I didn't feel sorry for kicking Brand in the nuts. He hurt me in a way no one has for a while. I thought I could trust Brand. I thought we were like family and it hurt to know that he didn't care about me. It made me wonder if anybody cared about me, really? And I didn't like that feeling. I couldn't figure out what I did wrong. I was only trying to help my friends. Then again, I could never figure out what I did wrong.
A/N: Hey lovelies! This chapter was on the deleted scenes and I thought it would be fun to write (I changed quite a few things, though). Anyways, bye lovelies, hope you enjoy this.

The Gore tag is there more as a precaution, rather than a promise to keep producing gory words. Mortal Mewling is a bit of a slow burn in terms of start, scale and capacity of the protagonist.
