Jared's pov

I heard the screaming it was coming from the guest room Lilac was staying in , Hailey and I just had sex and even though I felt really guilty it was nice to relieve my stress for once then the thought of what my father told me popped in my head " be careful if Hailey and you have sex Lilac will feel the pain and it will hurt her "so much how could I be so careless.

I jumped off of my bed Hailey still in the bathroom I sprinted to my mate's room only to see she was being cared out of her room , she was unconscious and Kelly was crying into my mom's chest while my mother tried to comfort her that's when I noticed my Father's face pure anger

" JARED! YOU MUTT" he yelled at me while grabbing me by the throat and slamming me against the wall.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO HER SHE HAS BEEN THROW ENOUGH!! YOU IDOIT!! SUBMIT!!!" he hollered because he was still Alpha I submitted and he let me fall to the floor.

coughing I replied " I'm sorry Father I was careless"

" did you see what you did to her Jared , she's supposed to be your mate you're lover,true love, luna not some girl that is just your toy!" he was still angry

" I'm sorry father.....I just had needs and I wanted to be by her so badly and I couldn't control myself...it won't happen again....I promise..." I said lowering my head

" see that it doesn't" he said walking out of the room

I ran all the way to the hospital wing of the pack house I needed to see her , I would give anything to see her how could I have been such and idiot and let that happen, when I got there I seen them taking her in and hooking her up to machines, I felt my wolf whimper " mate....i want my mate" I did this to her how could I do this.

For the next week Kelly and I took turns watching over her and we were going to mind link each other if she woke up, it was her turn to watch Lilac while I got us lunch , I was making a sandwich for kelly and I when she mind-linked me " SHE'S AWAKE"
