Jaxon^^ 😍 I hate him but his character is sooooo attractive.
--
I stare at the sky before hearing a stick snap. I look over to see Jaxon. The memories of him, before and after I was abused, hit me all at once as he walks towards me menancingly. I cower under his stare. He stops right in front of me.
"Hey, I know what I did was unforgivable. But is there anyway I can make you not hate me Omega?" He asks and I tear up. I shove him away and wipe my eyes. I sit down in the dirt.
'I have a name yknow, and calling me that might help me not to think your the scum of the earth.' I write and watch as he reads. He sits down beside me and I scooch away.
'What is it?' He asks and I look at him with my mouth agape.
'Are you serious?' I respond and he nods slowly.
'It's Dove, dummy.' I respond before standing up, wiping the dirt off my pants.
"Well Dove, is there anything I can do to fix this?" He asks me and I shrug. I shake my head before walking off back towards the group. I see Calum standing there. I can't believe I just noticed this but he smells human.
Oh man. That's gotta suck for Sym. how is she going to explain THAT?
"Where did you two come from?" He asks and I shrug. I go and hug Mason, who instantly wraps his arms around me in a protective manner. I love and hate how he treats me like I'm fragile. He's careful. I don't let go, I just sit there thinking about everything that just happened. I just told the boy that I've had a crush on since 2nd grade basically to go away. But he's beat me for years, and thats not okay. How can I like him? It's sick. I need to choose a better guy. Like Mason or Daniel, who're actually nice to me. Well, Daniel is kinda cold at school but still. I had to choose one of the people I want to stab to like. What is wrong with me.

I finally let go of Mason and tune back into the conversation. They all laugh for a while and talk about random things. Sym and Jaxon carved stuff into the trees. Daniel was pretty quiet but cracked a smile at me whenever our eyes met. I had ended up laying on the ground, my head in Masons lap and Rose's head in mine as they point out clouds to me. It's times like this that I enjoy not being able to speak. Imagine all that I would've missed if I didn't just shut up and listen. Turns out Masons middle name is Maximus and he sees every cloud as a puppy when it could easily be a race car. But to each there own. I also learned that Sym likes all kinds of music, but rock speaks to her and shakes her soul and heart to the core. Especially when amps have a good bass or for live drumsets. I learned that Calums in a band and he plays bass. And Jaxons not a bad person I guess when he starts cracking jokes. He's quite funny. I sit quietly with my eyes closed, just listening to their voices. I never realized till now how much I actually love these guys. Well, not Jaxon of course, but everyone else. I hear Daniel quietly say something about Sym dying her hair navy; which is the topic for some reason. Calum is totally against it and I think his vote matters most. He insists that Sym is perfect just the way she is, which is adorable, yet sickening. After I left out the drama, everything seemed perfect. And never once was I bored, and we stayed past sunset.
"No Symali, don't dye your hair! You're gonna end up like Michael! Bald!" Calum argues playfully and Sym rolls her eyes.
"Hey, I wonder how big of a fire we could build." Sym says with a happy but evil glint in her eye. We all stand up quickly.

"And that's our end note! Never give Sym anything flammable... Or sharp. We'd all be done for." Jaxon warns me and I smile. Don't get me wrong, he's still a total jerk for what he did, but he's tolerable. I guess.
Everyone gets on their cars and I end up sitting right inbetween Daniel and Jaxon. I swear Jaxon did it on purpose. I close my eyes and slowly drift off.
~~
I wake later to see us pulling up to the old pack house, and Jaxon smirking at me. I raise an eyebrow.
"You were sleeping on me." He gloats and shows me pictures he took. I punch his arm. I steal his phone away and delete the pictures.
After sending one to me.
Hey, I looked good so I had to.
Jaxon gets out and waves as we drive off. I scoot over on the seat so me and Daniels thighs stop touching. He seems to relax into his seat. Does he not like skin contact or something?
"So Dove, now that he's not slapping you around, how do you feel about Jaxon?" Sym asks and I open a text message to Mason.
'He's a smug jerk who seems funny. I still hate him though.' I send and Mason laughs. He reads it to Sym and I see her frown in the rear view mirror.
"Well, he really is a cool guy. It suprises me that he would do something like that. He doesn't like violence." She mumbles and I hear Mason make some smart remark as I scrunch my eyebrows. I go through all my memories, and yeah it's painful, but I gotta figure this out. Wait, Jaxon never hurt me. He just called me omega and was a jerk. He never hit me, I just think that he did because he was there rooting on the others when they did it. But looking back now, he wasn't rooting at all, he'd just look anywhere else with a pained expression. I remember this because I used to look at him for help. That's probably why I hate him so much. He let them do it. Well, screw him still. He might be an okay guy but he didn't help me when I needed him to, and that's just as bad.
Did you ever think about what would happen if he did?
No.. But it can't be that bad. He was best friends with Leo.
Yeah, but Leo was your brother. Leo wanted people to hurt you and would've hurt Jaxon if he had helped. I talked with Shade today, Jaxons wolf. Jaxon was scared and confused, and though he likes you, he was loyal to his alpha and friends with your brother. What was he supposed to do?
True. But he could've-
No he couldn't have Dove. You hate the boy for no reason, just accept it.
Okay, well, is he really that bad of a guy, or am I just being bratty?
Jeez! It's like teaching a child with you. You're just being bratty.
Well, snapple.
Yeah.
Shut up Lisa.
We get home and get inside. Everyone just goes in different directions, so I walk to my room. I see Mason there and he just smiles at me.
"Mulan?" He asks and I smile. I crawl up next to him as he turns on Mulan. We watch the movie quietly, except for Masons laughter at Mushu. Sooner or later I end up falling asleep leaning against Mase.

Rekindle
My Newest, and at the same time, Oldest novel. This is a Rewrite of my very first novel that I begun when I was just starting out. It follows the story of Mark Floyd, a broken man who once tried to do what he thought was right... only to be stabbed in the back and thrown away. Now, pulled into a conflict that spans time and space, Mark has a choice to make; Stand up once more, even if it means facing an unknowable future, or let the Embers of his heart die and sink back into darkness. ----------------------------------- “For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity”. Once part of a Special Ops team in the US Army, Mark Floyd thought he had seen the worst that Humanity had to offer. That was until his final mission, one that would leave him a broken and shattered man, betrayed by the Country he served, and abandoned by society as a whole. His dreams filled with nightmares of the ones he failed to protect, mind and memories clouded by booze and more, Mark finds himself stumbling through life without purpose or desire. Life isn't done with Mark yet, however. For as long as even a single ember remains in a persons heart, here is still yet hope for the flames of Passion and Hope to be Rekindled. When the dying embers of Mark's heart catches the eyes of a Being far beyond his understanding, Mark finds himself thrown into a situation not even his years of training could prepare him for. Will this new chance be Mark's hope at both Redemption and Recompense? Or will it simply be the final nail in the coffin for a man already dead to the World? [This is a rework of my very first story. The general story will remain the same, however a few details have been tweaked, the chapters have be Edited better and some chapters have been broken down into smaller chunks for better flow and consistency. The biggest change will be to the System itself; It will be a lot less "Game-like", meaning no stats, levels or similar aspect, though skills will still be present in the form of "Programs". Instead, It'll focus more on the Sigil's nature as super-computers and how they change the world around them. This should make for a much more "natural" and less info-dumpy system.
