Dove POV~
I wake the next day to Mason snoring lightly underneath me. I see theres a small puddle of drool on his shirt.
Well that's embarassing.
Good morning to you too Lisa.
I quickly try to wipe of the drool with my own shirt. Keyword, tried. Mason ends up wrapping me in his arms and rolls onto me. My legs fling out to the side as I try to get out from underneath this boulder I call my best friend. I finally roll him over and go to get off of him when he wakes up.
"Well, this is a nice surprise." Mason says with a wink and I see that I'm straddling him. My cheeks burn as I quickly scramble off of him. I walk awkwardly to my closet and get dressed with the door closed. I put on a navy blue tank and some white ripped jeans. I throw on my converse and brush out my hair. I see Mason left and flop on my bed. Can life just stop for a little while? I stand up and grab my bag, heading outside and jumping into Rose's car. Mason and Rose come out a few minutes later and we drive to school. We hop out and I sigh as I see my brother standing there. I grab my board as he walks towards me, his same cocky smile spread across his face. We stop in front of eachother and I cross my arms.
"Hiya there baby sister." He greets mockingly and I roll my eyes.
'Just stop Leo. I don't want to have to deal with you today.'
"Aww why? I thought we were super close.." He teases and goes to hug me. I push him away and hear Sym growl slightly from behind me.
"Down, bi-" He starts but Calum, being the amazing guy he is, shoves him. Leo doesn't move much but looks shocked by the humans movement.
"Finish that sentence. I dare you." Calum threatens and I smile. Leo raises his hands in surrender. Calum has no idea...
'Just get out of my way.' I write and he rolls his eyes before stepping out of the way. We walk down the halls when suddenly my backside starts to sting and I see Blake walking away with Jaxon and Zeke. Jaxon glares at Blake before mouthing I'm sorry while Blake winks at me. I flip him off before walking again.
Jeez, that actually really hurt. What even. What is with people today. Girls glare, guys stare, and I'm just here in a casual outfit. It's like I'm a princess or something.

~~~~~~Time Skip Bc Class~~~~~~
'You guys noticing this??' I ask at lunch and Mason shrugs. I look at our smallish group. Mason, Sym, Cal, Jaxon, Rose, Trinidee, and me.
"Well, I noticed that people keep talking about you in class." Rose adds on and Trinidee hums in agreement.
"Well, when you're gorgeous and have a cover up story like you do, it tends to happen. Give it a week." Jaxon says and I nod.
'And what exactly is my cover up story?'
"Well, it's been told that you used to model for a bunch of companies but were really shy, then you tripped one day, messed up your throat, and then, in a rebellious 'finding myself stage', you became a bad biker chick after being fired from modeling."
'How does anyone believe that load of bull?'
"Well, you look like you could model.." Jaxon grumbles into his food and I look at him with wide eyes.
"Wait, if that's a lie, what's the real story?" Calum asks and I mentally facepalm. He doesn't know. Human. Right.
"She fell on her bike and landed face first. Her neck got the worst of it." Sym shrugs and stares at me as she grabs another fry. I nod along and she smiles at him.
"Ohh.." He nods in understanding and I smile at how naïve he is. He has no idea. Sym kisses his cheek and Jaxon fake throws up next to me. I push the boy away playfully and he smirks at me.
Stop smiling at me like that. My heart can't take it.
Total cutie, am I right?
For once, you are.
I see Leo coming up out of the corner of my eye and put my head on the table.
"Yo Jax, whatchu doin hangin out with these losers?" Leo asks mockingly. I roll my eyes.
"Get lost Leo. No one wants you here." Trinidee spits at him and he laughs.
"Once upon a time, you did." He shoots back and she rolls her eyes.
"Whatever. I was drunk outta my mind." She groans at the memory. Leo smirks, knowing he's won. I stand up and drag Leo away by his collar.
'Why are you harrassing my friends?' I show him and Leo grabs my wrist.
"I should break your hand for grabbing my shirt like that. Remember which pack you belong to, Omega." Leo warns, squeezing my wrist into a breaking position. Suddenly he's gone and is being held up against the lockers by none other than...
Blake.
Man, really? This again?
I watch Blake threaten something lowly into Leo's ear, so low I can't hear it. Blake releases him and he runs off like a puppy with it's tail between it's legs. Blake walks over to me.
"Are you okay?" He asks and I stick my tongue out at him. "Hey I just saved your hand, I deserve better than that. How about a little kiss on the cheek babe?" I roll my eyes as he turns his head away from me and leans in. I give his face a quick pat with my hand before ducking under and away from him.
"Hey!" He exclaims and I smile wearily. Until he grabbed my wrist, that is. He pulls me back and looks like he's about to kiss me, so I suddenly turn my head to the side. I don't want a STD that's traded over by mouth or nothin. He kisses my cheek and the sparks take flame right there. He smiles at me before walking away. I wipe my cheek in disgust.
What is WRONG with people today. Like jeez. And I despise the fact that the sparks felt nice. I shake my head and walk to my next class. Ew, trig. But Jaxon's here so I guess it's not so bad, but so is Blake and Leo, so maybe it is. I sit next to Jaxon with a smile. My smile disappears when I see Leo diagonal from me and Blake in front of me. Leo and Jaxon look mad at Blake, and Blake's just grinning from ear to ear. I puff out a breath of air and stand back up.
"Hey, you don't have to leave. They can find new spots." Jaxon offers sweetly and I smile at him.
"Yeah. Leo, get lost." Blake orders Leo and Leo looks taken aback. He glares at me before grabbing his stuff and moving away. I sit back down hesitantly and Jaxon immediately starts telling me about a trip he took about a month ago. I listen intently, studying his face. He's not as bad as I thought.. My thoughts are interrupted when sparks light up on my hand. I pull my hand away from Blake, who was studying it. Suddenly someone clears their throat at the front of the class. I look to see my teacher glaring at us, then she starts teaching again.
'Cliché much?' I show Jaxon and he chuckles while nodding. We sit, bored, in the back of the class for the rest of the period.
~~Le another time skip cause class~~
I walk out of school and see Mase. I walk over and lean against him.
"I feel it, but don't worry, it's Friday." Mason laughs and I nod. We walk to Rose's car and get in. I see Rose in the back, leaning against a boy. They're smiling and laughing. Well that's cute. Mason drives us home quietly and I realize that I don't really know much about him. What kind of best friend am I? Well, when he wants to tell me, he will. We get into the pack house and I see the Alpha standing there.
"Hey Dove, I'm assuming you're enjoying it here?" He asks and I nod happily.
"Well, Blake, the Alpha of the Kalode (Ca-Low-D) pack called today and said that you had told him you wanted to go home." I shake my head frantically. Why would I ever want to go back there?
"Oh, well, I was going to say that you have a choice. You could stay and join our pack, or you can go home." He gives me my options and I immediately opt for staying here. I point at the floor and nod. He seems to get it and smiles.
"Well, your initiation is tonight at seven, so get ready." He winks at me with a smile before walking off. I have four hours. I look at Mase and don't even have to say it. Supernatural marathon! We run to my room and turn it on. I watch Sam and Dean save a girl who was hexed, cringing at her biting into the cupcake and finding a beating heart. Gross. I snuggle up next to Mason and realize Lisa has been very quiet about him lately.
Well he's off limits.
What do you mean?
He met his mate.
That's awesome! Who is it?!
..Travis says Mason should tell you for himself.
His wolf?
Yeah.
I look up at Mason, a perplexed look on his face. I grab my board from off my desk.
'Mase, you okay?' I write after having to nudge him. He smiles at me.
"Yeah. Just thinking. I can tell you anything right?"He asks with a hopeful look.
'Of course.'
"Okay." He states then goes back to the show. I furrow my brows and think about what could be up with him.
Nameless Hypocrite
"Bastard, surrender yourself!" "You think you can escape our encirclement?!" "An omnicidal fiend like you can only atone in death!" Despite his precarious situation, a young man ignored the union's provocations. His violet robe was in tatters, showing the incredible number of attacks he received, yet there was no sign of injury. Noticing the light smile tugging at his lips, the pursuing heroes warily watched him, cautious of a final attack. It was only by working together that they could corner a monster like him. An arrow pierced the air, beelining towards the young man. A malicious gleam revealed itself in his eyes; he unsheathed his sword, a long, curved blade, and deflected the projectile, spiking it into the ground. The archer's eyes widened before being split in two. He died suddenly and indignantly. The group backed away; their former confidence diminished greatly by the invisible counter. It was then that the young man sighed, his voice full of lament and self-pity. "Being a saint truly is difficult, even the world cannot understand my righteous actions." The expressions of the surrounding heroes turned ugly. Such blatant hypocrisy! Yes, the protagonist is a villain. We don't do morals here. New chaps when I write them
