𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐘/𝐍 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 outside of a department store "Gimble brothers" after a couple of hours later of moping around in distress and frustration with the current situation taking all of the space in their minds.

"Wow, what are we doing here?" Y/n asked sarcastically with her hands crossed on her chest as she looked up at the lit-up department store sign.

"To get our old friend." Five replied looking inside the store like it was some quest.

"I missed her too, but now is not the time to go get her." Y/n pointed at the store and looked at him.

"Let's just go get her, ok? It'll take two seconds." Five glanced at her sadly as she sighed.

"It won't take two seconds but fine."

Five gently took her right hand and was about to jump but she took her hand out of his grip. The girl touched his shoulder for a split second as he teleported without her inside and looked around confused.

"Y/n?"

But she just teleported by herself beside him after a couple of seconds. Five felt that something was next to him so he turned around.

"Why did you do that?"

"Do what?"

"Teleport by yourself?"

"Because when I do it with you, I get sick. If I do it by myself- I don't. Now, let's go." Y/n signaled with her hand to go as she walked past the boy.

Five followed her until she stopped and picked out a flashlight. She gave one to him also.

"Here, it's dark."

"Thanks."

They both walked further through the empty and dark isles looking around when there was no sign of a single soul, with their flashlights flashing the lights and looking for the one and only...

"Delores." They both said in unison.

"I missed you, girl." Y/n softly chuckled as Five smiled at her.

"Yeah, it's good to see you...I've missed you too...obviously." Five rolled his eyes.

"It's been a rough couple of days here." Y/n smiled.

Then Hazel and Cha-Cha made their great appearance. They put on their ridiculous children's masks and loaded their guns. They instantly found Five and Y/n across the store and started shooting their guns.

"No!" Five yelled and fell on Y/n to get her to the ground to safety. They were laying on top of each other for 3 seconds before Y/n broke the gaze.

"Let's go!" She yelled and they both ducked over the clothes hanging on the hangers covering their heads with their hands. Then Delores fell since those two idiots shot at her.

"Oh, shit! It's them." Five muttered under his nose.

"The commission?" Y/n asked.

"Who else?...stay here, I'm getting Delores." Five left Y/n alone and crawled to get to Delores. Y/n wanted to stop him but saw that there was really no use with it. Then finally he came back to her as he held Delores in his hands and looked at Y/n.

"We need to get out of here ASAP." She said.

"Yeah, no shit." Five sighed. "I'll be right back for you two."

"What? Oh, hell no! I'm coming with you!" Y/n denied.

Five thought about it for a couple of seconds before turning back at her. He understood that arguing with her about her safety wasn't the best decision at the moment, so he let her do that.

"Just be carefull, ok?"

"Ok."

Soon enough Five and Y/n were running around the store and jumping. Hazel and Cha-Cha were trying to shoot them but they were just wasting bullets by not aiming at them or the kids running too fast.

"You see that?" Cha-Cha asked.

"You said they were special. So now what?" Hazel shrugged.

"You start over there. I'll go to the other end. Meet in the middle. Shoot anything that moves." Cha-Cha instructed.

Five teleported behind Cha-Cha and stabbed her easily. Cha-Cha fell on the ground while Y/n was with Hazel. He was looking for elastic wrist bands as she used her telekinesis to knock some clothes hangers on him. The whole hanging thing rolled on Hazel and knocked him to the ground too.

Then they started shooting again with more rage, Five and Y/n were running around the store, lunged over so that they wouldn't be seen.

Y/n saw that Five was going to get Delores so she rushed over to him as well to make sure the both of them were okay.

"So, we done now?" She panted.

"Yeah, let's get the hell out of here." Five huffed.

He put Delores in a bag and tossed that bag over his shoulder. He took Y/n's hand and they headed for the exit. Hazel was still shooting at them so Five wanted to jump but he couldn't.

"You used all of your powers?" Y/n yelled in frustration.

"Yes, I'm sorry!"

"I can use mine!"

Five looked back at the assassins to see if that was completely necessary, but it most definitely was since there was no other choice if the two wanted to get out of here alive. "Ok!"

Y/n tried to use her powers just like Five but she just groaned in pain. Five was looking around thinking of a new way to get out of here.

"Nah, I can't either, I'm too tired!"

"Shit!"

Y/n felt a sharp pain in her lower stomach and when she checked that place her hand was covered in blood. Her breath trembled but there was no time to complain about that.

So they both jumped over a counter and some things while Hazel and Cha-Cha were firing their guns non-stop.

Five and Y/n just stood there while Hazel and Cha-Cha came and pointed their guns at them thinking that victory was already with them.

"Got them!" Cha-Cha yelled.

But then they heard the sirens wailing and that was a perfect distraction. So they ducked near the wall and they were just in front of Hazel and Cha-Cha but the wall was covering them as the two assassins looked at the police outside. Y/n was hugged by Five as he was also holding Delores.

"The bastards jumped again." Hazel sighed.

"Come on, let's go."

When they finally left Five sighed but Y/n started gasping for air. Five looked at her and was confused about what was going on.

"Y/n? Y/n, what's wrong?" He pulled her shirt and saw a deep bullet wound. Blood was spilling everywhere and just as Five noticed that, she lost her consciousness.

"No, no no! Y/n, please don't-" Five started panicking as he touched her face. He was holding her body inside his hands and hugging her. He didn't know what to do since he had to get to the academy but had to get there fast. So he used up his last energy drops and teleported them to the academy in a couple of seconds as the same pain pierced his body.

𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐘/𝐍 𝐔𝐏𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐒 in his hands with his bag with Delores which was over his shoulder. He went upstairs trying to think what should he do with her as he tried to remain calm and pray that the girl would be okay.

Then Allison and Luther saw them while they were walking past the stairs.

"Five? What the hell happened to- oh my god, Y/n!" Allison walked up to him and held her in her hands as she touched her face tucking the hair behind her ears.

"Five, what did you do to her?" Luther took the lifeless Y/n with his hands from Allison.

"I don't have time to explain, we need to help Y/n!"

Flashback:

𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐘/𝐍 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄 to the crumbled academy building. Finally, they had gathered the strength to go there. They were looking around for everything that was still there until Y/n spotted a hand sticking out of the bricks.

"Five!" She got his attention and so they went to the hand. They saw an eye clutched in it between the fingers. It was all bloody and looked like it was ripped out of someone's head. Five took the eye out of it and inspected it.

But while he was doing that, Y/n looked up at the person who was holding that eye.

It was Luther.

Tears started forming in her eyes and Five noticed that. Sure, the girl hated him and his guts but seeing her brother dead wasn't something that she wanted to see. Then they both saw something. Five gave her his hand to help her stand up. He looked somewhere in the distance as Y/n glanced at him confused before looking where he was looking and letting her mouth open out of disbelief.

They both ran to check for the others and saw Diego and Allison.

Allison was laying on her back with bricks covering her entire body. Only her face was showing in the light. Her face was covered in dust and concrete small crumbles as her eyes were closed.

Y/n ran over to her and touched her face not believing that was her sister. Her breath quivered as she saw her sister laying there dead in front of her eyes.

Then Five saw Diego. He shook him to see if he was alive, but there was no hope any of them would be.

Y/n stood up and ran over to see if they could find even more people. She knew who they were missing but she didn't want to know if that was true. Five saw that she was running and ran after her.

Then Y/n stopped running and looked down.

She saw her best friend Klaus lying there on his stomach with his eyes still slightly opened and his cheek resting on a brick. She ran to him and dropped to her knees.

She touched his shoulders and face as started crying uncontrollably. Crying her heart out and letting it free. Five ran over to her, dropped down on his knees, and hugged her.

"Hey, Y/n, it's ok...it's ok..." He started rocking her and touching her head as she sobbed into his chest. But that didn't help. She just cried there with Five hugging her. She started gasping and crying even more as she hugged the boy back who was also trying not to let his emotions get the best of him.

"Why?"
