𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐘/𝐍 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 through the rainy roads while silence filled the car. Y/n was sitting in the passenger seat and Allison, of course, was in the driver's seat. Since they were driving without any talking, Allison wanted to ask something.
"Listen, what happened between you and Five in the future?" Allison didn't take her eyes off the road.
"What? What do you mean?" Y/n stopped daydreaming looking through the window with her chin resting in her hand.
"Well, I'm just saying that...if you fell in love in the apocalypse, that is ok, but you don't seem like a couple who would...be in love ever since you came back." Allison struggled to form the sentence.
"We fell in love, but...we fell out of love."Y/n replied looking through the window trying to avoid eye contact.
"So...what made you fall out of love?" Allison looked at her interested.
"It's a long story, but if we cut it short, he lied to me and I had to work for the commission without my consent and he was the one who got that job for us. And since we got married in the apocalypse-"
"Wai, you got married?" Allison almost shouted taking her eyes off the road and the car almost ran off the highway.
"Jesus, Allison! Look at the road! And yes, we did. So I didn't like the fact that they were referring to us as "Husband and wife" so I...filled for divorce." Y/n slowly looked at her.
Allison just took her hand off the steering wheel and took her left hand, clutching it to show that it's ok."I understand. I can't even imagine what it might have felt for you."
"Well, do you want to hear the entire story?" Y/n slightly smiled.
"Go on, we still have 3 hours to kill."

"𝐖𝐎𝐖, 𝐈 𝐂𝐀𝐍'𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐄𝐕𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 you had to go through all of that." Allison expressed sympathy. They were still driving but it was pretty bright since it was already morning.
"Yeah, welcome to my world, sis." Y/n chuckled crossing her arms.

"I'm very happy that you shared that with me. It makes me feel...special." Allison smiled.
"I already told Luther, so you're the second one." She pointed at her and giggled.
"No way! You would never tell anything to Luther when we were kids." Allison andY Y/n laughed together.
But then they came to Harold Jenkins's grandmother's place. Allison drove through the rocky road which was covered by trees blocking out any sunlight. Then they finally got out of that road and saw the house.
"There it is." Y/n unbuckled her seatbelt.
"Yep." Allison stopped the car and looked at the file to see if this was the right place.
"All right, let's go." Y/n unlocked the door and got out of the car while Allison put the file down. They walked towards the house all crouched down so that no one would see them. They walked under the house through the place where all of the firewood was put.
They finally made it to the terrace and walked over to the window to see if anyone was home. While the girls were looking, they spotted Vanya's violin in her case.
"She's here." Y/n's face lit up with relief.
"Yeah, let's go." Allison turned around and was about to go but a bird flew from out of nowhere and she gasped out of surprise.
"You ok?" Y/n touched her shoulder.
"Yeah, let's go."
"Where?"
"Well, since Vanya's not here, she might be in-"
"In the city. Of course." Y/n finished Allison's sentence and they ran away from the house and back to the car.

"Wait, where are you going?"
"Come with me, there is something we need to see." She opened the door and got out. Y/n also got out of the car and they ran to the parking lot. While they were running, Y/n also noticed Vanya's scarf.

"Is that-"
"Vanya's scarf? Yes." Allison picked it up and went to the place which was covered in police tape. Y/n scurried after her they went under the line and to the parking lot.
"Hey. Pardon me. Hey." A police officer quickly came to the girls."I gotta ask you to stay behind the lines. We had an accident here last night."
"What kind of accident?" Allison tried to ask but Y/n pulled her back.
"Allison, come here."
"Ma'am, the line, please." The police officer tried to remind her too.
"Okay, yes, sorry." Allison followed Y/n and they went back to being behind the line.
"Got a lot of stuff on the ground, okay? To be wary of." The police officer tried to explain pointing at everything around them.
"What happened?" Y/n asked looking at everything around them.
"We're trying to figure that out. As soon as we do, you'll be able to read it in the newspaper with everybody else. So, have a nice day." The officer tried to walk away from the girls.
"Look, officer, if there is any way-" Allison took off her sunglasses but when the police officer turned around, he was shocked.
"Holy shit!"
Allison looked at him confused as to why he is so surprised. Y/n also looked at Allison and back at the officer.
"You're Allison Hargreeves, right?" He pointed at her.
Allison just smiled and looked down while Y/n rolled her eyes and smiled too.
"I saw you on TV two nights ago in that Sandra Bullock movie about underpaid teachers that rob a bank." The officer kept ranting.
"Yeah, that's me." Allison chuckled.
"Oh! Wow, hey!" The officer was still in shock."If I'm being honest, my wife and I, prefer you in romantic comedies. The Love on Loan trilogy. Ouf! We can't get enough."
Allison just chuckled and looked down trying to think of something. The officer and Allison just stared at each other awkwardly until a woman on his radio spoke up.
"Copy, Cheddar?"
The officer pressed some buttons on that radio."Yeah, what do you got, Fred?"
"Hospital called. Perp from last night just regained consciousness."
"Copy. I'll be right over." The officer answered.
While he was talking on the radio, Allison and Y/n overheard and both looked at one another to tell each other that they had to get there to save Vanya.
The officer just sighed and chuckled at the fact that he was talking and looking at such a famous actress in the world."Allison freakin' Hargreeves. Wow!" He chuckled. "Ah, my wife's not gonna believe it."
Allison, the officer, and Y/n just stared at one another for like 5 seconds not knowing what to do. Allison and Y/n were trying to think of a plan to get to the hospital while the officer didn't know what else to say to the actress.
"Anyway, I-I-I gotta go." The officer stuttered.
"Oh, yeah." Allison broke her gaze and her thinking.
"Work stuff. Yeah."
"Yeah, of course. Sorry."
Allison and Y/n got out of the way and let the officer walk back to his car. But something clicked in Allison's head.
"Actually, that's...why I'm here." She said and the officer turned around."I'm-I'm researching a role. A law enforcement role."
"In Jackpine Cove? We haven't had a murder here in years." The cop shrugged.
"Oh, uh...it's about a small-town cop, who is also a single mother, and she is my co-star," She pointed to Y/n."Who takes down a drug cartel and is struggling to cope with motherhood." Allison took a couple of seconds to collect some ideas into a plan.
"In fact, maybe we could tag along while you conduct some official police business? We promise...we won't get in the way. I just...I think I could really, um...help me develop my character if I could live a day in the life, you know." Allison shrugged hoping that he would believe that.
The cop just stared at them for a couple of seconds thinking."A day in the life, huh?" Allison and Y/n smiled."Come on. Follow me."
They followed the cop and Allison put her sunglasses back on her eyes.
"Smart choice." Y/n smiled.
"Don't snap out of your role."

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.

The Kings of Thendor - The Two Kings
To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much. In the land of Thendor, where magic is mysterious, unmentioned, and sometimes even disbelieved; where kings, queens, and stewards rule, the ages-old kingdom of Alldel remains without its king. Heirs come and go and no one can explain why each one chooses to abdicate to the steward. And who are these heirs, anyway? Some say the line of kings is dead, while others whisper of magic. Some, though few they are, will tell you other kingdoms have interfered, keeping the line of kings from rising in the nation of Alldel. But why? Adric, son of Cassian, heir to the throne of Alldel has come of age and must answer the question, whether to assume the throne, or abdicate as his ancestors had done for centuries. Raised as a blacksmith by a family friend, Adric struggles with the decision to take up his place as King of Alldel, and to make matters worse, a neighboring kingdom has confirmed the rumors of the common folk. An impossibly old king with a centuries-old message arrives and changes Adric’s life in ways he could never have imagined. Adric must decide the future, and perhaps even the fate of the great kingdom of Alldel. Unprepared for this turn of events, he enlists the help of allied kingdoms and even the mystical nymphs of the Tulusbian forest. Some say his actions will start a war on the continent of Thendor. Ohers say he is resurrecting a long forgotten one from centuries ago. Abdicate, or become king? To some, it would probably be obvious. To others – not so much.
