"𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐇, 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐄." Five answered. Y/n knew he was only sent to Five from the commission, but she had no idea that she would land here. "We're currently stuck in this timeline, but that's not the worst part: we brought the end of the world with us here."
Y/n's eyes went wide as little plates."Wait, what?! What do you mean? I thought we stopped it."
"I thought so too, but turns out, I think I scattered everyone here in Dallas throughout the timeline, hence the reason why we triggered doomsday." Five explained everything for her.
Y/n just kept staring at Five in disbelief." I don't understand-"
"Oh my god! I can't believe this! The 7th one of you!" Elliot ran out of the building and burst through the doors. He started walking closer to them but slowly with his hands in front of him and eyes wide.
"You know this guy?" Y/n pointed at Elliot but didn't look at Five, just stared at Elliot.
"Yeah, I do." Five heavily sighed. "Listen, we need to find the others and save the world." He turned back to her and took her hands.
"Um, okay, but where do we start?"

"𝐒𝐎, 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐀 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌?" Five asked as he and Y/n were walking at Elliot's home once again and looking through the pictures and posters.
"Yeah, the first one. And then the big, sensitive one." Elliot elaborated for both of them switching his glances between the two kids.
Y/n was just looking and not taking her eyes off of the walls filled with information and pictures. It kind of felt different, and it should have since she was basically lying to Five, especially when they both agreed to start over. But Elliot's response caught her attention.
"Sensitive?" She turned around at him
Five also stopped glancing at the walls and looked back at Y/n listening to her.
"Yeah, cried a lot, kept coming back to the alley, sat around for hours calling a woman's name. Uh..." Elliot tried to remember and so he did and snapped his fingers. "Allison."
"Luther." The pair said in unison. Five turned around to look at the walls while Y/n looked at the ground and back at Five.
"Yeah, he...he wasn't the only one. Uh, the others came too, off and on over the year, looking for each other. Eventually, they...they stopped. But today it happened once again with her." Elliot pointed at Y/n and she nodded.
"So, our family is alive." Five softly said. "Shit. Well, now I can say for sure, that I stranded them here."

"Yeah, but where the hell could they be? I mean, Dallas is a big place, and the chance of finding all of them is pretty low, especially with a deadline." Y/n shrugged.
But Five just nodded at her and turned around and started walking towards Elliot."Now listen to me..."
But Elliot just backed away and so he started to climb over the couch. So Five just teleported so that he was already behind the couch. Meanwhile, Y/n started walking slowly behind Five and inspecting what he was doing.
"Elliot. Elliot. My name...my name's Elliot." He spluttered.
"Whatever, all right?" Five yelled and Elliot hit his head on a desk lamp. "We got ten days to find them and save the world." He pointed at the pictures of their siblings. and turned back to Elliot."Now, we need your help to do that."
"Hey, Five, calm down, all right?" Y/n walked to him and touched his shoulders and then looked at Elliot. "We would really appreciate it if you'd help us since we're pretty lost here. Maybe you saw one of our family members somewhere? Maybe a photo or...on tv?"
Elliot was still startled by the two kids but the fact that Y/n was talking so nice, sure it was kind of her, but he was still in shock. "You need...my...You know what? I...uh..." Elliot just tried to get some words into a sentence while trying to open the drawer. "I always thought that this, uh, mugshot, looked like arrival number four."
Elliot pulled a riped out newspaper part. It was a report of a man who did something and got in trouble with the law. And that man was none other than Diego. He managed even in two different timelines to get into arguments with the police.
"Diego." Five said as he took the paper out of Elliot's hands. Y/n immediately turned to him even faster and looked at the photos while Five read softly what was written.
But Y/n laughed at the article written about Diego."Well, this didn't happen in the previous timeline so it should have been expected that it would happen here. He was supposed to stalk somebody already."
"So then...that's helpful?" Elliot pointed at his hands.
"You have no idea." Five replied as he folded the paper and put it inside his pocket. He then turned around at Y/n.
Meanwhile, Y/n quickly turned to Elliot. "Thanks, that really helped us."
"We have to go now." Five said to the girl.
Y/n turned to him and gave her hand out for Five to take it. "Go ahead."

"𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄. 𝐘/𝐍." Diego said as he walked through the doors into the visiting room at his nuthouse. His hair was much longer, he had a beard and he was wearing all white. Which was just everything opposite for the last Diego they saw.

"Hey, Diego." Five smiled sarcastically.
"Hello there, brother." Y/n twirled her fingers.
Y/n and Five were sitting across the table while Diego sat on the other side of it.
"You look good in white." Five looked Diego up and down.
"That sounds kinda racist." Y/n said for herself as she looked away.
"About time you two showed up." Diego glanced at Y/n and back at Five.
"How'd you know we'd be back?" Y/n asked as she and Five leaned in closer.
"Because that's the kind of shit you two pull." Diego also leaned in.
"Where are the others?"
"They're not with you two?" Diego once again looked at Five and Y/n.
"We'll find them." Five muttered for himself softly as he and Y/n leaned back on their chairs."How long have you been here?"
"75 days. Landed in the alley behind-"
"Commerce and Knox." The trio said in unison.
"What about you two?"
"I got here this morning, so did Y/n just a couple of minutes later after me." Five pointed at Y/n.
"How'd you find me?" Diego went straight to the point and leaned even closer.
Five gently scoffed and pulled out that same scrap of newspaper from his pocket. "Page 16." He started and Diego rolled his eyes leaning back down on his chair. in annoyance. "Disturbed man with multiple knives arrested outside 1026 N. Beckley." Five read from the paper and pushed it towards Diego. "That's Lee Harvey Oswald's house. Care to explain?"
"Let's just say Dallas Law Enforcement has not been supportive of my attempt to stop the assassination of..." Diego didn't break eye contact with Five once as he talked and leaned even closer."...John F. Kennedy."
"Yeah, because it hasn't happened yet." Y/n leaned in with the boys.
"And it's not going to happen. Not on my watch." Diego shook his head at the girl as she scoffed and leaned back with Five. "Look, I've been shaving down the bars in my room. Another day or two, and I'll be out of this place then I'm gonna stop Oswald and save the president. You two want it, say the word."
The whole time Diego was talking Five and Y/n pretended to listen leaning in back and out waiting for him to finish.
"Listen to us very closely, you gibbering moron. You are not going to do a goddamn thing." Five softly replied.
"Why not?"
"Because we have to stop the apocalypse."
"No shit. But that doesn't happen for another 60 years." Diego softly shook his head.
"Not that apocalypse. This is a new one." Y/n intervened. "I guess it followed us."
"Yeah, I've seen." Five looked at Y/n and nodded before turning back to Diego. "Nuclear war, Diego, in then days."
But Diego just softly laughed at their explanations and leaned back on his chair crossing his arms on his chest. "And I'm the one locked up, huh?"
Five and Y/n once again leaned back on their chairs and looked at one another.
"I'm losing my mind here." Y/n shot that kind of glance.
"Yeah, I know. We don't have time for this." Five shot that glance.
"Fine, I'll play along." Diego rolled his eyes. "What causes it?"
"We don't know. Maybe some looney-tuned asshole with a hero complex tried to save the president and screwed everything up." Five ranted sarcastically and Diego got interested.
"So you're saying it worked?" He very slowly let his hands go and leaned in."I saved the president?" He growled and bit his lower lip."I knew I could do it." Five and Y/n both nodded."Okay, okay, I'll help you."
"Thank god."
"After I save Kennedy. And then you swing us back a few decades so I can slit Hitler's throat off with a butter knife." Diego cut Y/n off with his ridiculous wishes.
"This is why you don't have any friends." Five remarked and Diego sadly looked at him."You know what? Guard." Five stood up and took Y/n's hand to stand her too. "Our brother is plotting an escape. The bars of his room have been shaved down."
Diego jumped on the table and started crawling towards them."Piece of shit!" But the guards just put him down on the table by smashing his head on it.
"Look, this is for your own good, Diego." Y/n sarcastically shrugged because she understood what Five decided to do.
"No! Five! Y/n!" Diego tried to stand up but he just kept getting pressed against the table as the pair walked around him.
"Listen, our brother is a very sick man. We only pray that he gets the help he so desperately needs." Five glanced at Y/n and she fake worriedly nodded.
"No, please! Not the needle!" Diego yelled as the nurse came and injected a huge needle with some liquid inside to calm him down.
"Be back for you later, okay?" Five got closer to his face and whispered.
"Nighty night for now." Y/n also leaned in and whispered to his face.
After all that was done, Y/n and Five left the facility and went to the city once again.
"So, where are we going to go now? We need to find the others..." Y/n looked around the big city that was surrounding them.
"I know a place where we can start. But please don't get mad at me about where we are going to go, okay?" Five answered as they continued to walk but didn't make eye contact with her.
"Don't start it like that and I won't."

Decompose!
Dear diary. When you read stories about some people missing and returning after years of absence claiming they were living in another world, your first reaction is to scoff and dismiss a story as a tall tale, right? I know I did. All the time. Until it happened to me and I no longer did. That day was today. Some god of thunder smote me. If it were Chris Hemsworth, I wouldn't mind but it was some barbaric Hitite god that abaondned Earth some four millennia ago. Yes, what can I say? I love the seventh art. I have more hours watching movies than any other activity, including sleep. What? Do you think I'm exaggerating? Maybe I am. I'll really miss hollywood the most. And my biggest regret is that I never got to visit the holy city of cinema. I did not come to another world to be a hero even though there was hints that they hoped I'd save it. I did not come with overpowered abilities able to, dunno, leap tall castles in a single bound, faster than a speeding crossbow bolt, be more powerful than a eight-horse carriage, the bounds. No. After the asshole god that murdered me brought me to his world, he gave me some boons from his discount bin and "The Power of my Soul (tm)". Forgive my french, I hope you understand I am rather upset at dying. And he somehow decided that my power is to recycle stuff. How awesome is that? Not much at first, I must admit. At least I got all my camping stuff and equipment with me. There's no lycra in the other world. I'll make it someday, but that day is not today. So here I am. In another world, in the middle of nowhere. I'm no heroine. As the song goes, I'm your basic average girl. And I'm assumed to be here to save the world. But almost everything can stop me, because I'm not named Kim. Wish me luck, diary. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ This novel is going have the following features: slow-paced slice-of-life No GameLit / LitRPG elements. Movie references. Sandra likes the seventh art. Journal / diary style crafting (includes chemistry, engineering and metallurgy) low magic technological advancement (for Sandra, at least. She is not against sharing though) personal relations clash of perception between the modern and ancient customs. bits of tension, fighting, and plot here and there. I won't repeat myself though. Once she crafts a good batch of soap, for example, she'll just note, "I crafted soap again." Once it is estabilished how she obtains compound X, compound X2 that is obtainable from the same process will also just be mentioned. I'll try to be as realistic as I can with the crafting, chemistry, and technology. Cover: Public Domain Image by StockSnap from Pixabay. No attribution required but we do it anyway.

Digital Immigrant
This is the story of how James Allen Quick and Sarah Lynn Abernathy died. By 'died', I mean that their hearts stopped, their brains ceased sending electrical impulses, and all other physical functions terminated. Immediately after which, their bodies were placed into an industrial furnace, reduced to ash, and the ash was spread about in one of the last forest reserves in North America. As ash-spreading locations go, this ranked third. First and second places were, of course, a person’s favorite athletic team’s playing field and the sea. Or rather, I should say that this is how the story begins. You see, it’s what came after that is so interesting.
