"𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐑𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐋 feels like a dream or some sort of illusion." Y/n pointed out as she continued walking around the place along with Five and their hands, interlocked with one another. "It's like we're walking around in circles."
"Or we enter a new floor every time we take a corner." Five suggested. "I have a feeling that there are invisible portals everywhere that unknowingly-"
"Shh, wait." Y/n stopped at her pace, silencing Five and carefully listening in. "Do you hear that?"
The girl was right and they heard distant but obvious, Sloane and Ben's voices, coming from some sort of direction.
"Come on." Five did a 180 turn and began taking himself and her to the opposite way they were just walking. After taking many corners and dozens of steps, they saw the two Sparrows bickering about something intensely. "I can't believe I'm saying this. I'm actually glad to see you guys."
"What's wrong?" Sloane asked as the two let go of each other's hands.
"The hotel's changing." Y/n told her. "We've been walking around in circles, but it's like the thing is alive - no matter where you go, you always end up in a new place."
"We should get back to the lobby." Ben suggested.
"Tried it." Five said to him. "Whatever direction we choose, we end up in the same spot."
"Or maybe you have no sense of direction." Ben mocked him.
"Okay, lead the way, Magellan." Five shot back at him.
Ben was left speechless for a moment there, but he decided to take matters into his own hands and began leading the other three through the endless hallways.
"It's no use." After walking for what seemed like an eternity, Y/n stopped everyone. "We're not doing any progress."
"She's right." Five agreed with her. "We need a new plan."
"Oh, like what?" Ben shook his head. "There is no other option, we either try to find our way out of here or..."
But his mocks were interrupted when they could feel the ground beneath them starting to shake, along with the walls and chandeliers, making yellow light shine through the ceiling. It seemed as if everything was falling apart or something was opening up.
"Guess someone rang the bell after all." Y/n said as the three continued looking around, but not moving out of their place.
When everything around them stopped shaking, the four of them continued walking. Until they were introduced to one of the guardians.
It had a large body covered in armor, a sword, and a lot of anger. Judging by the fact that it was snarling, he most likely wasn't human. But they couldn't tell it because not a single patch of his actual body was visible. Though he was using his weapon like a real person.
"Really? A samurai?" Ben rhetorically asked.
They all stood together, not knowing what to do next before Sloane unleashed her inner anger and began running toward him. She jumped over him, landing right on her feet, and began using her power. Unfortunately, the guardian was too strong for her.
"Revenge looks good on her." Ben smiled, looking at his sister who was using her last piece of strength and clearly struggling.
Y/n scoffed at that. "Would you just help us kill that thing already? Both of you?" She walked over to an axe, which was hanging up on the wall, before marching right up to Sloane's help and helping her defeat the thing by taking dozens of swings at it.

Five watched over her and how she handled it with a proud look. It even reminded him of how he killed everyone on the board in the previous timeline, like true lovers - doing the same things in separate timelines.
But when her actions didn't seem like working too much, Five stepped in to help her. "Y/n, he's too strong, we gotta get out!" He pulled her by the arm, dragging her away with Sloane right behind her.
They all ran across the hallway until they reached a ventilating room and took cover under some vents stacked right in front of them for protection. They all took a moment to breathe, but that wasn't going for too long because the guardian had found them.
"You've hit him with your ax five times." Ben yelled at them. "He should be dead by now."
"It's the armor!" Y/n yelled back at him in frustration. "It's like hitting cement, it means nothing."
"There's a space between the backplates." Sloane told them.
"We need to get behind him." Five ordered as the guardian snarled behind them.
"Let's kill this thing." Sloane agreed.
She immediately stood up without warning and began running towards him as Y/n tried to stop her. But when she was about to jump off a wall, the guardian pierced her stomach with his sword, making her drop to the ground in pain.
"Okay, I'm going in." Y/n took at as a sign. She touched Five's shoulder to access his power, only to be stopped by him.
"No, Y/n, don't, it's too dangerous-"
"There's no time!" She said before jumping behind the guardian with the ax in her hands only to be punched in the face and thrown to the ground.
Five quickly came in her defense and jumped right over to her, trying to take the ax into his hands and charge at him, but he was thrown to the other side of the room by the monster as well.
"Five?" Y/n managed to lift her face up from the ground and saw him laying to her right. The guardian was swinging his sword in the air, about to stab her, right as Ben emerged from their hiding spot with tentacles coming out of his body.
They watched him wrap them around the guardian, giving them hope that he was about to finally end him, before the monster slashed his tentacles with his sword, making Ben fall to his knees wailing in pain.
Y/n turned to her right to see the ax laying right next to her. Using the last of the strength she had within her, she stood up from the ground with the ax in her hands and pierced the guardian in his back, hitting just the right spot and finally killing him.
Even if Ben had his tentacles sliced, Sloane was cut on her abdomen and Five with Y/n got some pretty bad punches, it all didn't matter to them at that moment.

"𝐊𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐒!" Y/n heavily exhaled out of relief when she saw her dead brother all alive and surrounded by everyone else in the lobby. "We thought you died."
"Yeah, well," Klaus softly chuckled. "If only."
"You look like hell." Viktor said when he saw the young couple completely worn out.
"Why don't you try killing a guardian?" Five sarcastically suggested.
Viktor exchanged some confused glances with Allison. "We just did."
"So did we." Ben joined in.
"Klaus, I thought you were dead." Sloane looked at him in disbelief.

"Yes, yes, I'm alive and amazing, despite Dad's attempts to bash my brains in, but tearful reunions later." He ranted aimlessly. "What you guys need to know right now is that Dad killed Luther. And he locked me out of the tunnel, and he rang that stupid bell!" He pointed towards the front desk.
But no one seemed to be surprised by that news as they saw Reginald at the entrance of the hotel with his book like nothing.
"What's your plan, old man?" Five was furious about this as everyone walked towards Dad.
"We don't have time for this." Hargreeves tried to defend himself.
"You killed Luther!" Sloane furiously walked over to his face still clutching her injured side.
"I had no choice. You refused to come together as a team."
"All of your stupid myths and stories. There were never seven bells or Norsemen." Ben was about to lose all his trust in Dad. "You brought us here to die!"
"That's not so. Somewhere in this hotel is the key to resetting the universe. We just need to find the sigil!" Dad was growing more impatient by the second.
"I don't care about your sigil!" Sloane yelled back at him. "None of us do."
"No, we barely survived that guardian with his stupid helmet and his sickle!" Diego shouted.
A small silence set in. "The guardian we killed had an ax." Viktor said.
"Ours had a sword." Sloane replied.
Lila and Diego looked at each other disappointed. "There's one left."
"We have to go after it." Sloane pleaded.
"Oh, yeah, because that worked so well the first time." Ben mocked her.
"It's really dangerous." Y/n walked over to her.
"But we have to!" Sloane raised her voice.
"Hey, I found the sigil!" Five yelled from upstairs, looking down at them. "It's on the-"
But he wasn't able to finish because the last guardian came crashing down through the glass ceiling, throwing his ax on a chain around and slicing Five's hand off.
The horror unfolded right in front of Y/n's eyes, but before she could say or do anything, the guardian began cutting everyone with his weapon, starting with Klaus, slashing through his stomach. He threw gas bombs at Allison, Viktor, Lila, Y/n, and Diego, making them fall to the ground before he punched Ben in the stomach with his throwing ball with spikes.
Diego was the first and only one to charge the guardian. He swung many punches, raging from his back to his legs, hitting plain armor in some places before being punched in the face and thrown to the ground, coughing up blood.
The monster turned to Sloane, swinging his weapon up in the air, but just when he was about to swing at her, Sloane put her arm out and used the last of herself to use her power to stop him from moving forward.
But being hurt and tired, Sloane couldn't do it for long before her energy ran out. The Guardian was free of her power for just a second before Luther appeared from behind him and held his hand up, stopping him from hurting Sloane. She opened her eyes and was left in utter disbelief to see her dead husband alive.
"Nobody hurts my wife, you son of a bitch." Luther said as he picked him up and tossed him right over his head across the lobby.
Small sighs of relief were heard everywhere as Klaus used the last of his power to bring Luther back to life. Sloane and Luther embraced each other in a tight hug, a hug they both needed.
Y/n managed to stand up from the ground and quickly run up the stairs over to Five's help. There she saw him with his left arm completely gone and trying to stop blood loss by tying his tie on what was left of it.
"Oh, my gosh, Five..." She kneeled down beside him.
"I-I'm fine, are you okay?" The boy wanted to make sure he was right even though he was the one with a missing limb.
"I'm okay, I'm okay." Y/n quickly ranted as she helped tie the tie on his arm without even looking into his eyes.
Five grunted in excrutiating pain before getting fixed up and standing up from the ground with Y/n's help. The two saw that the guardian was about to back up just in time. "The sigil is in the lobby floor. It's the stars!"
"Children, find a star on the sigil." Reginald instructed. "Stand on it!"
Everyone found a star for themselves, quickly standing on it as the floor panels began clicking. Five and Y/n quickly came running down the stairs. They could hear the energy powering up just as the guardian stood up from the floor, snarling and putting his mask up, and Reginald began hurrying them up.
There was only one star left for the three of them - Allison, Five, and Y/n - a choice that was a hard one to make. They all looked at each other, not knowing what to do. "Number Five, quickly!" Until Reginald told them.
The boy didn't want to leave Y/n, but he had to, whether he liked it or not. After one final glance, he jumped over to his star and blue energy waves connected them all as Allison and Y/n stood to the side.
The energy was so powerful that when it shot at the guardian, it immediately made him fall to the ground with a huge hole in his chest. When they thought that the terror was over, blue light shinned above each of them, and the hotel began falling apart around them.
It revealed gold tunnels and floor, energy fluctuated and it was all being powered up by the energy of the siblings. Then, a round table emerged from the ground which Reginald seemed to recognize because he immediately walked over to it and began using the screen.
Allison and Y/n stood across from each other next to the table and were both able to see that something was wrong, judging by their sibling's pale faces and intense straining.
"This wasn't part of the deal." Allison pointed at them. "You're hurting them."
"I can't stop now." Reginald didn't even turn around to look at her. "It'd shut down the machine."
As the realization sunk in for Y/n, she stared at Allison, who was panicking. "What machine? I don't understand."
"The hotel was just a facade." Reginald raised his voice. "We're stuck inside a machine in another dimension. Whoever created the universe built this place."
As Reginald pressed something on the screen, the energy pulsated around, making them all scream in pain.
"You're using them to power everything, aren't you?" Y/n raised her voice as well, walking closer to the two.
The girl was starting to panic as well as she turned around to look at every one. "He killed Luther." Five managed to strain something out. "He tried to kill Klaus. He won't stop until we're all dead."
As another energy surge drained more strength from them, Y/n had enough and walked over to them only to be stopped by Reginald. "No, Y/n, stay here!"
Y/n turned around in confusion to look at him. "Why? Let them go!"
"I need you, Y/n!" Reginald quickly glanced back at her before continuing with his work. "I'm almost done. And when I am, you and I will get what we came here for." He told Allison.
"No, you're killing them!" Allison yelled at him.
"Everything in life has a price." Reginald simply told her.
But when their sibling's bodies were beginning to fall apart and their pupils were already gone, Allison had enough. "Stop!" She yelled through the top of her lungs and her voice echoed only for Reginald to continue working unphased. Her powers hadn't worked on him.
Y/n knew she had to take matters into her own hands at that point, she couldn't rely on Allison to do anything more. That's why she took an ax from the ground, that had been laying there from the guardian, and walked over to Dad.
She stood behind him for a second, Allison closely watching her and somehow not stopping her, until she gathered up the strength and pierced her ax right through Dad's head. The machine powered down, instantly freeing the siblings.
The family fell down to the ground, coughing and straining, as Y/n gasped when her father turned around with half of his head sliced off. But instead of seeing blood, she saw wires and machine parts in his head.
Green liquid dripped down his face as he fell to the ground as well and the two sisters looked at each other in shock. But something behind Y/n caught Allison's attention when she walked past her and over to the control panel.
Despite the siblings coughing and their bodies still being blue, Y/n wasn't able to look back at them. And when she saw a red button on the screen with Allison's finger inches away, she knew it. "Allison, don't touch that button. We don't know what it does."
The girl didn't raise her voice at Allison, she saw neither no use, nor she had the psychological strength within her to do it. Viktor managed to stand up from the ground with his body still recovering just in time. "Allison, stop!"
Viktor made Allison turn around and look at him just as he began using his power. "Don't make me do this!"
"Do you trust me?" Allison barely whispered to him.
Not being able to go against his sister, Viktor stopped his power and nodded as everyone else watched them.
"Viktor, what are you doing? Stop her!" Five yelled to him.
"Allison!" Y/n shouted to her, walking over to her sister in pain and disappointment. "Don't do this, please."
Allison turned around to look at her and whispered. "I'm sorry, Y/n, but I have to do this."
"Do what?" Y/n asked.
"I heard a rumor..." Allison leaned in closer to her sister, trying to hold back tears. "That you ended up being Dad's."
As Y/n's eyes turned white, Allison took the chance and began walking closer to the button with her siblings shouting over at her not to. But no matter what they were saying to her or what was going to happen, Allison put her palm against the screen and pressed the button.
