thunderstorms
they hardly ever lead to something good
especially at night
the day was soon coming to an end
students were ready for playing on their games and talking with their friends after being well-fed with glorious food
but the noise of thunder and rain soon got one student's nerves on their ends
tokoyami had never liked thunder, it caused so many problems
it was so loud
it caused people to become loud
"damm it the tv's not working" sero groaned
"noooooooo!" cried kiminari, he tried re-charging it but that leads to all his power being used and made him even more stupid (which usually lasts 4 hours)
and it could cause power cuts
but tokoyami didn't notice that the moment he began listing of things
they were coincidently happing as he spoke
but maybe he would have noticed this if he wasn't resting his eyes
many of the students tried to instinctively scream before their mouths being covered by the braver students
shushing and pointing directly in tokoyami's direction
too engrossed in his own thoughts to realise what was happing around him
"what are we going to do?!" mina whispered worriedly
"if he sees that it become literal darkness he's going to freak out" sero whispered
"ok, ok, listen, here's what we're going to do" shoji proclaimed quietly, taking charge
shoji was there with him during the forest incident
and he was his closest friend
so he knew the best ways to keep him calm
using the old fireplace they never used to produce some light
it was time for tokoyami to know what was going on around him
"tokoyami?" Jiro asked
tokoyami hummed and opened his eyes
but in one glimpse he nerves started jumping
it was dark
the power must be out

it's too dark
he could feel his body shake
dark shadow was going to start destroying everything
what if he hurts someone
just like last time
but a soft material covered that his body and his special mug with herbal tea brought him out of his panicking thoughts
"its ok toko, we got a fire so you can be near the light" mina said bringing him to the fire
Kirishima and midoriya had to stop tokoyami from sitting to close to the fire
his eyes never left the flames
but his body never stopped shaking
"yo tokobro, it's going to be ok," sero said reassuringly
but tokoyami made no movement nor sound
only sipping the calming tea
(which had vanished in a blink)
"you can look away you know, keep staring and you may damage your eyes" Ochaco
"I don't want to dark shadow to cause any damage" tokoyami admitted lowly
"ha, we'd be able to stop you from doing anything before you even got started bird brain" chuckled Bakugo
earning him deadpanned eyes from everyone besides the bird-headed boy
Asui placed herself next to the still shaking raven head
"I know that you struggle with you're quirk in these particular situations, but we're all here for you," she said as she hugged him
he smiled as he let his eyes drift away from the fire's light
but his vision was soon starting to become blurry
was dark shadow attacking his friends and he didn't realise it
it was becoming dark
but not the kind that felt frightening and scary
but actually warm and inviting
and soon he was drifting off into calm pleasant sleep
the tea that he drank had a big dose of calming chemicals
basically a sleeping potion
and with him sleeping soundly in Asui's lap when his body gave away to gravity

everyone sighed relief
they wouldn't admit it but they were slightly scared of what could have happened if his quirk got out of control
but the sight of tokoyami looking the most peaceful and calm they had ever seen was worth it
"maybe we should put some backup lights in here in case anything like this ever happens again" momo suggested
everyone nodded in agreement as they began to go to bed
"Need any help with sleepy over there asui?" asked Kirishima
"no I'm good ribbit," she said as she got up with ease, holding tokoyami fire man style Todoroki next to her so to keep dark shadow at bay
"He needs to eat more, he weighs literally nothing" she continued
"you could say he is a featherweight," kiminari said with finger guns still stupid
and that lead for another round of group deadpanned stares
asui placed tokoyami on the bed, placing a goodnight kiss on his cheek and closed his door
goodnight everyone said as they entered their own rooms
hopefully, the lights will be working tomorrow
or kiminari wouldn't use all his power on the tv again

Long War [Oldest]
It was a war. It was silent, so silent that few people ever noticed that it was happening, and long. So long that those who knew forgot why it ever started. Humanity had fought against itself... and lost. Prosperity, democracy and human rights were a thing of the past now, as the world fell into Sovereigns's hands - a handful of transnational corporations (and their CEOs) that monopolized the world economy. The resistance had been long silenced with the policy of bread and games. Now, over a hundred years later, something happened. One of the Sovereigns created a VRMMORPG like none other. A science fiction game, where players could explore the Galaxy... full of advanced technologies, bloodthirsty aliens and even magic. Was it a simple computer game, or... something else?

Summoning Our Country - NHS Kai
CONTENT WARNING: Japanese ultranationalism, language, gore depictions, obscene scenery Off to the Orient lay a massive ocean that separated the bellies of the great continents of Eurasia and the Americas. In between the global juggernauts that were the United States of America and the People's Republic of China was a state home to 120 million people and the world's third largest economy. But things often don't go as hoped. The nation of Japan suddenly wakes up to the heavens above them having been rewritten in what seemed like divine premonition. A familiar, yet otherwise alien world awaited them beyond the shores that had kept them safe. As the vices of globalization threatened to wreck havoc and condemn the Japanese state into obscurity, it was up to newly elected Prime Minister Takamori Hideaki and his administration to face this challenge of epic proportions. Paying homage to みのろう's Summoning Japan (Nihonkoku Shoukan, NHS) as a fan-made work, this story will also follow Japan, but explores a completely different world. Now helmed by a named Prime Minister, Japan will wade the murky waters of the new world as it struggles to come to terms with its issues. Also available on Wattpad, Scribble Hub, and Fanfiction.net

Grim Beginnings
For most, ghosts and monsters were fantasy. For Tessa Byrne-Reyes, they were a constant in her daily life as a reaper. The legendary gods and creatures of mythology were, to her, historical figures. From a young age, she carried the weight of the world on her shoulders, possessing what she saw as a curse but what her family considered a gift. It was her birthright, to use her abilities to guide the deceased to the afterlife of an eternity in peace or in torment. Her classmates viewed her as "the fainting girl" who would pass out in the middle of a lesson with inexplicable injuries. She experienced each death in the town of Belmont Falls, from the mundane to the gruesome. A gunshot wound in the gut, broken ribs, her heart ceasing to beat for several minutes. No one understood what caused these incidents but over the years, she gained a reputation for being abnormal. While Tessa is the freak of Belmont Falls, Fin Belmont, the charming rebel and son of the richest man in town, is her polar opposite. Knowing each other for years but never saying more than a dozen words between them, one night changes everything, thrusting them into each other's unfamiliar and daunting worlds. Together, with the help of her best friend/his ex-girlfriend Elena, they begin to unravel secrets about their town and their pasts, learning that some secrets are better left buried and grudges can be held for centuries.
