shoji did not get jealous

anyone who had gotten to know him knew him as calm and quiet shoji 

a kind and a caring giant that held people closer then objects, you would know this especially if you had seen his room 

he didn't get angry 

he wasn't selfish 

he was always there to help 

and he most certainly didn't get jealous 

at least 

he had never been before 

but that was only because he had never been in love before 

tokoyami fumikage 

the love of his life 

the darkness to his moonlight 

and the one he held closest to his heart 

so when he saw him with someone else, no matter how platonic 

he couldn't stop his blood from boiling or fists from shaking 

but he couldn't do anything about it 

he couldn't just lock away tokoyami in a tower 

he was his own person 

he was going to be a hero of the night with plenty of admirers, going to want his attention and signatures 

so he had to try his best to hold his rage in 

only for one simple afternoon to ruin his streak 

tokoyami and shoji were simply watching tv with the other students when tokoyami began to get peckish 

"I'm going to get a snack, would you like anything?" the birds head asked his significant other 

"no, thank you" shoji replied, his eyes never leaving the screen 

at least until another shape began to move with him 

it was Jiro 

although he tried to convince himself that Jiro was also hungry, his eyes never left the kitchens door 

shoji had always been jealous of their relationship 

even though tokoyami merely stated that their relationship was sibling-like, they spent a lot of time with one another, especially when the band got together

shoji sighed silently 

but his features of sadness soon became features of shock and fear 

a crash had come from the kitchen 

causing all heads to face the kitchen in alert and shoji to rush to the kitchen 

the need to protect his love to stronger than fear 

but then entering the room 

that feeling soon turned into anger 

right in front of him was a pile of broken glass and plates 

and just behind that were two shocking figures 

one that was Jiro 

and the other was his love 

in her arms, bridal style with a large gash on his leg, trickling blood 

"what happened" he heard a voice from behind him, midoriyas, he could even feel the other students soon start to crawl around 

but he didn't respond 

all he could do was stare 

"shoji?" tokoyami asked 

but he was only responded with a gust of many arms stretching out to retrieve him from Jiro's grip 

tokoyami was now in the safe arms of his boyfriend who was walking away to bandage him up 

shoji grabbed the first aid kit, never letting tokoyami out of his grip

both liking the silence, but this type wasn't the pleasant type 

"shoji" tokoyami began, even though the named figure didn't look up from his task 

"Have I done something wrong?" tokoyami asked 

shoji looked up to face his now crying and confused boyfriend 

"what...no..of course you haven't" shoji replied 

cupping tokoyami's face into his many hands 

"then why are you so angry?" tokoyami asked, trying to stop his tears 

"it's not you....it's everyone else" shoji began 

"you're the best thing that's ever happened to me, to see you with someone else, even though...I know, you're so loyal, and sweet and kind" shoji went on, his sentence soon going in a different direction, his own tears beginning to form

before his love cupped his face in his own hands 

"shoji, I love you, I don't want to be with anyone else, no one is more important then you and I would never betray you in such" tokoyami said sweetly 

"But, every time I see you with someone, I can't stop...it's...so hard, is it selfish?" shoji asked 

"of course not, I feel the same" tokoyami responded 

"Really?" shoji asked shocked, tears stopping completely 

"of course...I think we need to be more honest with each other, if we feel this way we can talk to each other about it" tokoyami said determinedly 

"yeah...I would like that" shoji said smiling, holding his little lover in a full embrace 

"Now, let's get this leg fixed up," shoji said determinedly 

one of the shoji's many hands holding tokoyami's whilst patching up the bird boy's injuries

and once again the silence was pleasant
