(contains themes of suicide, read on your own accord)
Tokoyami brought the gun to his head
he was sick of living
he was over a million years old
and was stuck in the body of a 15-year-old with a raven head
he had seen friends die
he had seen family die
and he had seen first loves to die
he watched them as they entered the earth in a box special decorated for the occasion
watching them leave, to start the second stage of their lives
while he would be always be trapped on the first level
he didn't know why he couldn't die
it was only after his 3rd suicide attempt did he finally realise that death was a luxury he couldn't afford
expensive for him yet so free for others
he had tried everything to kill himself
mainly for the thrill
jumping off cliffs into shark-infested waters, he would simply reemerge Scott free
he felt pain at each attempt
and that was ok
because he knew it didn't matter in the end
he picked up his gun and headed towards the toilets, it was easier to clean up the remaining blood
it would be the first time he would attempt suicide in the U.A school
the thrill was like a drug to him
and it had been too long since he had had his share
but little did he know his movements had gathered a crowd
as he entered the tiled room, he began the procedure
but was interrupted by a chorus of panicked shouts
he turned around to see the others of his class
and many of them tried to get the gun away from him
only to be stopped with a shake of his head
The others exclaimed why he was doing this, but the avian only sighed

"You'll see, "Tokoyami said bluntly
his glassy eyes looking over to the people around him
Then, he pressed the trigger
a loud bang echoed throughout the room
blood was splattered to the wall
screams and shouts soon flooded the sky
but after opening their eyes they could still see him standing
blood dripped from the sides of his head and eyes,
yet he continued to stand strong
their eyes widened as big as dinner plates.
"as you can? " Tokoyami told them, moving to collect the bullet that went through his own head
he turned to them and they flinched, no one said a single word to the young and mysterious hero.
"I can't die "tokoyami stated, holding the bloody bullet in the palm of his hand
he told them of the real truth of his existence
and all decided that they wanted to help him
at the middle of japan was a fountain that was said to grant one's eternal wish
and that was where tokoyami's soul would finally have peace
of course, tokoyami would have already done it if it was that easy
the trek was dangerous alone
but he soon found himself not alone
he had friends that he would help him finally reach peace
when they had finally arrived
tokoyami began to walk forward to his long-awaited fate
a distant mystical voice asked why tokoyami had come
tokoyami simply answered that he wished for his life to end
the fountain agreed
but warned him
"If you choose this path, you will never return to this world, do you understand"
tokoyami took a long gaze to his friends
one's he would be determined to never see die
"I do" tokoyami answered
and scooping up the poisonous water
he began to drink
he closed his eyes
and all he could see was white
he had finally died
and all he could do
was a smile in relife

Incursions
This blurb concerns Incursions book 1: Incarceration. If you could buy superhuman abilities, but they might kill you—or worse—would you do it? Ten years ago, in a world not so different from our own, people with powerful abilities appeared. The new powers were dangerous, dangerous to acquire—dangerous to have—dangerous to wield. World governments raced to find and eradicate the abilities and those who possess them while using the media to rule by fear. Whereas corporations sought to exploit the abilities for profit. Raz Owens was living the dream - a rising star at a job he enjoys, a girlfriend he loves, but it all comes crashing down when Raz disregards his late father's advice. He is pulled into a chaotic underworld of clandestine labs, shadow organizations, and super-powered criminals. Used as a human test subject in a place where few survive the day, he must last long enough to escape. His only advantage? A power that seems nearly useless—a heads-up display. Contains: monsters, violence, death, dismemberment, gamelit, superpowers, superpower consequences, good guys, bad guys, good guys who might be bad guys, bad guys who think they are good guys, good guys that might go bad, bad guys that might turn good, guns for hire, competence, incompetence, continence, incontinence, conspiracies, and some of what I just said wasn't true. This story is written in third person limited POV. That means you can expect to know many of the thoughts and inner dialog of one character, and only see the actions of other characters. This POV does include scenes without the main character, and thus the reader can and will know things the main character does not. Further, this means characters act on what they know, which is almost always less than the reader knows. Something else to know. These books do not hold your hand. If you're reading it and thinking "Gosh, why aren't 'they' doing some 'obvious' thing." Bad news. You probably missed something that explains exactly that. If you're seeking a light read that doesn't ask much of you as the reader, you're invited and very welcome to come on in, but this might not be the story for you.
