"ok, if we're going to do this, then we're going to have to lay out some ground rules" began with frustration

the person in front of him was not making this easy for either of them

"oh please, you have to buy me lunch first" toga taunted mischievously

tokoyami had to shake his embarrassment from his face and get back on track

"that's not what I mean, if you want to keep your secret then we're going to have to agree not to do things, like 1 don't.take.my.blood!" tokoyami stated as the girl played with her knife

"aww, but your bodies so fun big boy" toga continued her relentless taunting with a wink

"can you please not!" tokoyami shouting, not being able to contain his anger/embarrassment as he felt his feathers poof up

to calm himself he slowly took deep breaths in and out, dark shadow reassuring him from the inside

to this toga giggled

"Relax, I'm joking, jeez your way to easy fumi" toga continued to laugh

"it's tokoyami to you" tokoyami stated bluntly

"ok toko" toga smiled

"How did I get into this mess" tokoyami sighed tiredly

"because you were being a stalker" toga stated

"oh, no, you don't get to pull that card after your little stunt the other week" tokoyami declared, she had no right after what she did to her reputation

"I, I mean why did you act like such an obnoxious, perverted jerk, in my skin?!" tokoyami asked with anger and confusion

"because you're the exact opposite of those things, you should have seen the shocked and horrified looks on their faces, it was priceless" toga admitted, covering up a blush with her usual cheeky grin

luckily tokoyami didn't notice

"you've got a sick sense of humour" tokoyami stated, folding his arms

now toga allowed her self to blush stating "stop your making me blush"

tokoyami sighed once more as he allowed himself to slump to the grassy floor of the forest

"Why are we even doing this?" he asked tiredly

to this toga simply got up to lay next to the raven

"because we have no choice, you can easily tell me on the heroes and I can do the same thing with the villains" toga explained

and for once it seemed that she was being completely serious

"We can't trust each other but-" she began before turning her head from the sky to the raven

"This might be the opportunity to build it up"

for the next month, the two met up and talked to one another about their hobbies, fascinations and dreams

and even though tokoyami didn't admit it

he did feel much closer to the blood drainer

both read that there was a surprise attack at U.A

the two looked at each other before rushing to the school

"did you know this was happening?" tokoyami asked, trying to hide the betrayal in his voice

"no, I swear, they knew I was going out so they must have just decided to do it on their own" toga explained, never wanting to betray the first guy she liked without needing to be bloodied up first

but when they got closer another sudden unexpected announcement was declared

blue flames made an impact on the raven

making him screech in pain while toga could only stare in shock

"tokoyami!" she declared as she ran over, helping him to extinguish the flames

"well-done toga, you got a student just as we texted it to ya" spinner exclaimed with an impressed look on his face

he was next to the man that had caused the ravens suffering, and by the looks of it he wasn't done just yet

"don't come any closer" toga declared angrily as she raised her knife to the approaching villains

"toga what are you doing?" dabi asked with confusion

"you can kill those heroes, even deku I don't care, but you can't harm my tokoyami! touch him and I will drain you of all your blood until you look like a wrinkly deflated balloon do you understand me!" toga screamed angrily

this took the villains back by surprise

but toga was their ally, friend and even family

if she didn't want this little chicken roasted

then they would abide by her wishes

"ok toga, but you'll have some explaining to do when you get back" dabi stated as the two ran off back to the fight

"tokoyami are you ok?" toga asked as she let herself give the raven her full attention, he was burnt but still breathing and awake

"Why did you do that? for me? a training hero?" tokoyami questioned

to this toga could simply smile as she sat on the ground where the raven was still recovering

"hero or not...I've grown to have deep feelings for you tokoyami" toga admitted happily

to this the raven smiled back, even letting out a small laugh despite the pain
