"I HATE YOU JOHN" you yelled, looking straight into his eyes.
"i'm sorry. i won't do it again. please." he begged.
"you already did it. you can't unfuck someone." you said sobbing.
"no please, i was drunk." a tear fell down his face.
"we're done johnny." you said quietly, "we're done."
you walked out of your now ex-boyfriend johnny gaudreau's apartment.
you got into your car and laid your head on the steering wheel. you started the car and drove to your bestfriend's house.
"oh cosette, you look terrible." your bestfriend zoe grabbed your hand and pulled you into her apartment.
"what's wrong hun?" she asked guiding you to the coach.
"he- he cheated." you stuttered out.
"johnny?" zoe asked in disbelief.
you nodded and started crying again. you shoved your face into one of the pillows on zoe's sofa. she rubbed your back as you cried all of your feelings out.
sean looked up into the stands looking for you. he had always had a little crush on you, but kept that in his own mind because his bestfriend was dating you.
"gaudy, where's cosette?" he said scanning the stadium section where you always sat.
johnny sighed sadly, "we broke up."
"what?" sean blurted out.
"yeah. i made a horrible mistake." johnny stuttered unhappily, "it's different not seeing her here. i hate myself."
sean nodded slowly and skated away from his now single teammate.
the flames ended up winning 4-2 over the sharks.
sean got undressed and back into his suit as fast as possible. he wanted to go check and see how you were reacting to the breakup after seeing johnny so distressed. johnny ended up weeping after the game.
he ran home real quick to put on clean sweatpants, shirt, and a sweatshirt.

he knocked on your apartment door. there was no answer or any sound at all, but the sound of shattering glass.
sean's eyes widened as he fumbled for his keys in his pocket. he found your apartment key on his key ring and stuck it into the door quickly.
he opened the door and ran into the living room. he saw you sat on the floor with a shattered picture on the ground. you couldn't see him because you were sat away from him.
sean quietly stepped over the glass on the floor. he looked down to see the picture you had shattered was of you and johnny.
"cosette.." sean began.
"everything in this damn apartment is his." you announced, "from the photos to his clothes laying around."
there was a lingering silence.
"HE'S FUCKING EVERYWHERE." you exploded into tears once more.
sean moved in front of you and picked you up. he hushed you as you wept in his arms.
he carried you to the couch and put emperor's new groove on. sean knew that was one of your favorite movies. sean didn't hate it himself.
"i'll be right back cosette." sean grabbed his keys out of his sweatpants pocket.
"wait what? don't leave." you begged, not wanting to be alone.
"you'll like what i bring back. just watch the movie. 10 minutes, i'll be back. time me if you have to." he smiled, pointing at the screen.
you nodded hesitantly as he walked out of the door.
soon enough he was back. and back with a countless amount of snacks.
"i got snacks and ice cream." sean exclaimed.
you smiled as he handed you a pint of ice cream and a spoon and placed the rest of the snacks on the coffee table in front of you.

"OH MY GOD SEANY" you burst.
"what's wrong?" he worried.
"you remembered that i was lactose intolerant." you said holding up the dairy free ice cream and fake crying.
"yeah. why wouldn't i?" he shrugged.
"not only did you remember, but you got my favorite brand and flavor." you grinned.
"you mentioned it once." he said walking carefully over to the glass mess with a broom and dust pan.
"oh my god. i love you." you laughed.
"if only you weren't kidding." sean mumbled to himself.
"what did you say?"
"nothing cosette. eat your ice cream."
after sean cleaned up the glass he sat on the couch next to you. he sat so his thigh was touching your's.
"i'm tired." you yawned.
you climbed on top of sean so you were straddling him. you laid your head on his shoulder, wrapped your arms around him, and closed your eyes. sean wrapped his arms around your torso and rubbed your back.
in a matter of 5 minutes, you were conked out. sean kissed the top of your head and placed his head on your shoulder.
"goodnight beautiful." sean mumbled.
