Caleb | Judaline
There were many moments in life when Judaline was dumbstruck. Like that time when Caleb had prepared a lavish dinner when he wanted to ask her to move in with him but he completely forgot that she was allergic to mushrooms, which had them taking an emergency trip to the ER. She said yes, but she was speechless nevertheless.
But this was different.
She sat on the bathroom floor of their grand four bedroom apartment in West Town, Chicago and she surely did not want anticipate this. The firm she was working in was just starting to settle in for her. She didn't think this through, no of course, she didn't.
The cool white Italiana tiles were a deep contrast to her sweating self, the perspiration was a clear indication, if not the redness in her cheeks. She was all of 25, and she still had so much to do in life, of course she knew what Caleb's reaction to this would be and she dreaded it. Not because he wouldn't accept it, the boy would leave everything for her and he made sure to tell her that on several accounts especially since he got signed by the academy nationally. He just didn't want her to feel uncomfortable and she knew that.

Braving herself for the inevitable discussion, she went outside to her loving boyfriend and was greeted by the sight of him cooking. She would never get used to him cooking, or of him pampering her. She truly was special to have a partner so supportive and understanding and was thankful everyday for his presence in her life.
"Hi babe, you look a little flushed. All good?"
Judaline nodded and took a seat at the bar stool in front of the kitchen counter. Caleb watched her movements cautiously and turned off the stove and walked towards her, trapping her in between his legs.
"What's wrong?"
Judaline sighed and held his hands that cupped her cheek.
"Cal, I-I....I'm pregnant."
She held out the stick that had two dotted lines on it and placed in on his palm.
Caleb stared down at the pregnancy stick in his palm. Pregnant. She was pregnant. Baby. He was going to be a daddy. In the literal sense. Oh My God. She was pregnant. With his baby, his child, she was carrying his child.
In one swift motion he picked her up and swung her around, she squealed and held on to him tightly. He placed her down and kissed her deeply, a kiss full of promises and love. A kiss for the future, a kiss for their baby, a kiss for them.
"Cal I-"
"I love you."
She looked at him, his smile was unbelievably beautiful and he seemed elated. The last time she saw him this happy was when she had agreed to become his girlfriend. Her heart fluttered at the emotion in his eyes and she returned his smile by cupping his cheeks in her hands.
"I love you too."
"I-"
"But I'm not ready for-"
"No marriage. I promise."
She looked at him with an amused smile and laughed.
"You really do amaze me every single time, Caleb."
"Let me rephrase my earlier sentence. No marriage...for now."
She smiled at him and kissed him slowly.
"Deal."
"How the hell do you love me? You could have anyone too."
Judaline rolled her eyes and shook her head, giving Caleb a lopsided grin.
"Baby, the best part of me is you."
"And I'm so in love with you. Oh Caleb-"
"Only me, I know."

Saga of Fallen Kings, Book I: The Revenant Prince
The Philosopher King once conquered the known world, his power seemingly unlimited and his armies inexhaustible. Since that time his might has slowly unravelled, and his once steadfast empire has begun to crack, splinter and devour itself. In the isolated Southern Realms, where even magic has abandoned them, none of that matters. For years it has been filled with warring kingdoms, where as many kings die to the blade as to old age, and constant battles tear apart the land. When one such kingdom invades its old enemy, the King and his heir, Prince Caden, are killed. Unable to accept the loss of his family Prince Arian is broken, and when the Philosopher King stretches out his hand in aid, Arian takes it without a second thought. When Caden wakes from death, he's different. His eyes and soul have changed, and he finds a world filled with friends who no longer trust he's even human. Suddenly thrust onto the throne and indebted to the Philosopher King, Caden has no choice but to keep going - he must finish what his father started, and try to survive the machinations of the figure who now owns his fealty. Meanwhile something beyond death stirs for him, desiring nothing more than to drag him back into its embrace. Author's Note: This story used to be known as "A King of his Own", but after some consideration I have decided to rebrand it. The first reason is that I was growing increasingly dissatisfied with the title. The second is that I have come increasingly to view this story as a 'saga' containing multiple 'books' rather than one long, continuous publication, and as I did so I realized that as I was quickly getting to a point in the story where I wanted the first 'book' to end. This doesn't mean I'm going back on the things I said below - they're just going to continue in the next book of the Saga of Fallen Kings. :) Also, be aware that I do plan to edit this at some point. Though I take care to squash out any obvious errors when I proof-read, and do simple edits in that process, at some point I'm almost certainly going to do large edits that might significantly change parts of the story. Old author's notes: This started as a completely random writing session. There was no purpose or direction, but as I kept typing an entire world began to form in my mind that I knew I had to write about. My plan is to turn this story into a veritable medieval fantasy epic that spans an entire world, follows multiple character and storylines, and takes place over many years. The story has quite a grounded, almost 'realistic' start, but many more fantastical elements will be introduced, expanded upon and become central to the narrative. I have ideas for this story that make me genuinely excited and I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy writing it, and join me on what will hopefully become a truly massive fantasy epic. If you do enjoy this story please consider following, rating and leaving a review. I'm also happy to answer any questions or comments you have. Magician's Hill
As a magician Dias has run into a lot of problems. Not 'street magician' though that would carry a lot less baggage... For better or for worse he has run into the supernatural side of things more than he would have liked. In fact it keeps pestering him more than he'd like and after spending the night at a Motel... his life just got a whole lot more complicated. Expect that now that he owns a hill... the "Magician's Hill" now that the former witch/owner is dead. It doesn't help that most of the supernatural residents also seem to have taken an interest in him though it feels like a coin toss if thats a good thing or a bad thing. Especially when they realize that his problems followed him to their city.

There's a Hero in the Kingdom
When the world has heroes that occasionally appear from another world, what impact do these heroes have? How do the people already present react? There's a Hero in the Kingdom follows the prince of the Kingdom of Sengar and his closest allies as he seeks out the newest hero that has appeared within their borders. Can he convince the hero to join in his efforts? This is very much a work in progress with the intent that it might someday be a proper series. Constructive feedback is appreciated as I would like to turn this into a fully fleshed out story for that purpose. Thank you. -Fleza Release Schedule: Routine schedule suspended indefinitely.
