They returned to the castle shortly after, filling Wilbur in. Needless to say he was quite angry that someone would do something like that.
"But why would they even do it?" he asked.
"White wings are extremely rare among Elythrian, some believe they represent the reincarnation of an angel and have very powerful healing abilities, although we aren't sure about that, since no one has yet managed to find a use to their feathers. We usually protect those individual for this reason" he sighed, looking at Angela "But it seemed that they still somehow managed to get their hands on you, i'm sorry" Angela stayed silent throughout the whole exchange, listening closely.
"So... there isn't a way for me to get them back?" Phil shook his head "Not to my knowledge" she saddened a bit "I mean... i don't really mind, i can't even remember if i ever flew but... can i get at least my memory back?" she asked.
"That's the big question, i don't think there's a creature who can 'steal' memories, and you said you had an head injury when the king found you, so you probably lost them because of said injury. I'm sure if you keep trying you'll recover them sooner or later" he assured with a kind smile, she nodded.
"I'll try my best then, thank you for all your help, i hope we'll get to meet each other again soon" she said with a bright smile.
Philza and Wilbur exchanged a knowing look, nodding.
"Why don't you go with them instead? It could be better for you to stay with someone of your own kind in case anything happens" Wilbur proposed, surprising Techno.
"Uhm... i don't have anything against it but..." she shyly looked at Techno "Is the king ok with it?" she asked. Phil elbowed him, winking and making him sigh.
"I also think it's better for you to stay close to Philza" he finally said.
"Oh... o-ok then, when do i have to come?"
"You can go today if you want" Sally answered, making her jump in surprise "I gotta prepare then!" she shot up on her feet, darting outside the room, halting before leaving, giving them a short bow before continuing running, making Sally giggle.
"She's a really sunny and cheerful gal, please treat her well" she said to him, Techno nodded "I will"

Soon after a carriage was prepared for them, Angela loaded in only one suitcase before jumping in, sitting on the opposite side of the king, since Philza was sitting next to him.
"Is that all your luggage?" he asked, she shyly nodded "I-i don't have many clothes..." he smiled "I'll procure you some then"
"O-oh you don't n-need to, i-i'm perfectly fine with the ones i have" she assured, making him chuckle, she was so cute when she was embarrassed.
Once they arrived back at the kingdom Techno instructed Ranboo to prepare a guest room and help her with anything she might need, since she was going to stay for a while. He obliged, quickly setting up a room and bringing her in, he also showed her around the castle but was particularly drawn by the flowers outside.
So once the tour was over she headed to the royal garden, exploring it. It was much more colorful that the one in the Soot kingdom, they fancied deeper and more soft colors, like blue and purple, while Techno's had all kind of bright and cheerful colors. Angela spent a good hour wandering around, reading their names and admiring their beauty before someone tapped her shoulder, making her jump.
"Excuse me miss?" she turned around, seeing a small group of well dressed men "State your business here" one demanded, she didn't answer, not sure what he was asking.
"My...business?" she repeated.
"Yes, your business, the reason why you are here" he explained.
"Oh! I-i was just looking at the flowers" she answered, a bit too quickly.
"A commoner is not allowed to come into the king's garden, leave at once, or we'll have the guards escort you out" he threatened.
"I-i'm sorry! I didn't knew, i-i'll leave" she said in a shaky voice, heading back inside the castle at a fast pace, she didn't know that they meant 'Leave the castle grounds' not 'Leave the garden'.
"Hey wait! Guards!" Angela panicked once she saw a group of guards run towards her and started running away. The guards of course started chasing her down, soon trapping her in a corner.
They locked her up in a cell and she remained there for several hours, scared and alone, cowering in a corner. As dinner time arrived Techno was quite confused when Angela wasn't there at the table.

"Ranboo" he called and the secretary soon appeared by his side "Where's Angela? Didn't you go call her?" he asked.
"I did your majesty but she was not in her room, i checked the flower garden as well but didn't find her" he explained. He started to get a bit worried, maybe she got lost? His castle was bigger than Wilbur's after all.
"Go look for her" Ranboo nodded, disappearing in a puff of black and white smoke, soon getting replaced by the council members entering through the front door, making Techno sigh.
"Your majesty! How did your trip to the Soot kingdom went?" one of them asked.
"It went well, thank you for your consideration" he said, not meeting eyes with them and just playing around with his fork, waiting for them to leave.
"Have you cleared your mind about some ladies? Do you wish to summon any of them to your court again?" he asked eagerly, making him roll his eyes.
"No, not yet, i have yet to decide" he lied "Changing the subject, wouldn't you have happened to see a girl wander around the castle today?" he asked, expecting a no from them.
"Actually yes, we found a commoner earlier today in the royal garden, she tried to escape so the guards locked her up in the dungeons" Techno dropped his fork, which hit the plate with an audible 'Clanck'.
"YOU WHAT!?" he shouted, scaring them and standing up, causing the chair he was sitting on to fall. He walked towards them, grabbing the closest council member by the neck and lifting him off the ground, causing the other to back away.
"How long has she been locked up!?" he asked in a furious voice, his eyes shining with a murderous light.
"A-about... four... hours" he chocked out, Techno's eyes widened, he dropped the man and made a beeline for the door, the other councilmen immediately moving out of the way, Phil followed close behind, he had never seen him this angry since the night his family was killed, he was quite worried he might decide to kill the council for what they did.
Techno hastily headed towards the dungeons, needless to say the guards were quite surprised to see him there at this hour.
"Your majesty wh-" he didn't let them finish.
"Where is she?! The girl you locked up earlier today?!" he angrily demanded, making them flinch, some taking a step back.
"I-in the last cell to the left" the guard answered, the king didn't need anything else, he walked towards it and soon saw her, curled up in a corner and shaking.
"Open this door!" he ordered and a guard immediately arrived with the keys, unlocking the cell and allowing him inside. Techno kneeled down in front of her, gently placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Angela?" he softly called, making her jump, she lifted her gaze, her puffy red eyes looking at him "I'm sorry, i didn't knew i couldn't go there, i won't do it again, i promise" she said in a wobbly voice, which broke Techno's heart. He gingerly pulled her into a hug, caressing her long blond hair so to calm her down a bit.
"It's ok, i won't let them hurt you again, you're safe now" he assured, he was trying his best to remain calm, but deep down he just wanted to cut the head of whoever did this to her. She hugged him back, crying in his shoulder a bit before eventually calming down.
"Can i go to sleep... please?" she asked in a tired voice, sniffling a bit.
"Of course" he accompanied her back to her room and wished her a goodnight. Once she closed the door his expression immediately changed, going from soft and caring to cold and furious.
"Ranboo" he called, the individual soon appearing "Call the council in the throne room, as well as the generals of the different sections of the guards, i need to have a little talk with them" he said in a dark tone, scaring him a bit. Ranboo obeyed, bowing down and leaving shortly after.
"Aren't you going to eat first?" Phil asked, noticing that they weren't heading back towards the dining room. Techno clenched his fists in anger.
"I think i've lost my appetite" he growled. How could he have let this happen? Of course they would capture someone who looks like a commoner walking around the castle! How could he have been so blind!?
He needed to change that, he needed to inform everyone and.... apologize to her once she woke up.
