"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" Techno shouted once he heard their plan

"But it's the only way to save his sister Techno! Please let me help him! I can do it" she begged.

"NO! It's far too dangerous, we don't know if they can hurt you! You don't even know where they keep her!"

"I do" Dream added, receiving a glare from the king "And why are you here!? Shouldn't you be locked up in a cell for the rest of your life for what you did to my kingdom and her!?" he growled.

"Techno calm down, he was forced to do those things, i told you" she had been trying to reason with him for the past hour, but they were still at the starting point. They understood that this was getting no where, they needed to change strategy.

"I'll go with her" Abby proposed "So will i" added Bad "We know our way around the void realm, we'll keep her safe" they assured.

"Then why don't you two go and she stays?" he said with a hint of hatred, Dream sighed "Because she's held in a heavily guarded room, it's impossible to get in without being spotted and killed on sight, only a ghost can get in and out without being harmed" Dream explained.

"She can, but your sister won't, how is she going to get her out?" Skeppy pulled out a small medallion, which emanated a shy white light "She'll use this, if Angela fills it with her magic then she'll be able to temporary use her powers, but it will only last for a little over ten minutes, since it can't hold more magic" he gave the item to Angela.

"Don't you have one more powerful?" he shook his head "I made this myself, this kind of magical artifact are very hard to find or make" she nodded, putting it in her pocket and turning to face the king again.

"Techno pleas-"

"No! I am not letting you go in an unexplored dimension with just those two demons to guide you, one of them can't even fight!" Bad shrunk a bit, knowing that he was right.

"I've lost you once... i can't lose you again..." he clenched his fists, he didn-he couldn't lose her again! He just couldn't! His heart couldn't bear another loss.

He was brought out of his stream of thoughts when he felt two hands take his face, pulling him down a bit.

"Techno look at me" she called softly, catching his attention "I promise you, i will come back. I have no intention to die again" she chuckled lightly "I want to come back here and stay with you, but we... i can't just abandon someone who's in danger, not if i can do something about it... please... i promise to remain by your side once i come back, just let me help Dream" she asked in a loving voice, giving him a warm smile.

The king didn't know what to do, he wanted her to stay so badly, but he knew that forcing Angela here would only make her crave freedom more. He wanted to come with her but then his kingdom would be left without a king and vulnerable to attacks. He could send his army with her, but then he would be risking to get a whole race against him.

There was only one choice, and no matter how hard he wanted to deny it, it was the only way.

He needed to let her go.

Techno pulled her into a tight embrace, burying his face in her soft golden hair, even though she was a ghost, he could still smell of those beautiful blue flowers she always loved so much on her.

"Come back to me...." he whispered, a few tears threatening to spill from his eyes. She hugged him back "I will" her grip firm on his crimson cape "I promise"

A few days later, Dream, Abby, Bad, Skeppy and Angela set off towards the city of Endonia, their goodbyes took a while, especially Angela's, since Techno was very reluctant on letting her go.

"Be safe" he murmured, bending over to kiss her softly, she kissed back, enjoying the warmth his lips gave off "I'll come back soon, wait for me" she whispered against his lips, he weakly nodded, tightening his grip on her, not wanting to let go.

But they eventually parted ways, a few tears escaping their eyes, Phil went to console his friend while Abby went to Angela's, heading towards the dreaded city. It was very well hidden inside a thick jungle forest, so it was hard to notice or reach for anyone who didn't know the way.

Luckily for them, Dream came here fairly often and knew his way around like the back of his hand, soon managing to find the entrance of the hidden city, which was located inside a ruined temple.

He quietly led them in a more secluded area and explained the plan.

"Ok listen, they don't take new people with a good eye around here, they are used to see me but will get suspicious if you come in as well"

"Then how do we proceed?" Abby asked, Dream grinned, taking out a pair of handcuffs "Oh you got to be kidding me..." she said annoyed.

A few minutes they were all cuffed and chained together, following Dream towards the a large church, it was a goth styled one, so it gave off a very unsettling vibe considering the situation they were in.

"This better fucking work" Abby mumbled angrily, receiving a whispered 'Language' from Bad. The people of the city gave them an unfriendly look, but once they noticed that they were prisoners brought in by Dream soon dismissed them, returning to their business.

"Once we enter the church be quiet and let me do the talking" they nodded, quietly following him inside the creepy church and walking up to the priest, to which he spoke.

"When you stare into the void, the void stares back at you" the priest nodded, opening the door and allowing him in, alongside with his prisoners. Once the door closed behind them Dream let out a sigh of relief, pulling out the key and freeing them.

"This way, stick close, the corridors are littered with traps to stop intruders, step only where i step" it took them several minutes but they all managed to make it to the portal. Angela took a step back, feeling a dark energy emanate from it.

"Here" Skeppy called, handing her the medallion, which she took "Once you place it around her neck she'll become a ghost like you, bring her out as fast as you can before the effect runs out" she nodded, looking at Dream.

"You just have to jump in and will get teleported to the summoning site, Bad and Abby will guide you to the prison, she's kept in the central cell, the one most heavily guarded. Her name is Drista, she has long blonde hair and was wearing a green hoodie last time a saw her. Once you got her come back to the summoning site and jump back into their side of the portal, you'll reappear here" she looked back at Bad.

"Will you be able to come back too? You know... with the whole summoning and stuff?" she asked, Abby patted her back "Don't worry about us" she pointed at Skeppy "This smart boy will summon us back in a snap once you are back with Dream's sis" he nodded, taking out his supply and starting to set them on the floor, preparing what he needed to draw the two circles.

"It will take a while to make Abby's but i should manage it in about an hour" he said with a confident smile "Just remember, avoid the elder demons at all cost, they have a direct link with the void, so if they spot you, the void will know you are here. And if the void knows-"

"Things will start to get ugly" Bad finished, shivering a bit at the thought "Are we all ready?" they all nodded, the trio walking up to the edge of the portal. Abby noticed that Angela was shaking a bit, she took her hand, surprisingly managing to, and gave her a warm smile.

"Let's go"
