Mbali: Hey! You never know okay.

Sino: Yah, you're mad.

Lisa, finding Mbali quite a character, laughs shaking her head.

Mbali: Hey Lisa, idea! Why don't you come with us to KZN this weekend? It'll be nice if you came, Lord knows I need more moral support.

Lisa: Oh?

Sino: Yeah she's telling her parents about her pregnancy, not that they won't see though.

Lisa: Oh!

Mbali: So? Are you gonna come?

Lisa didn't know how to feel about being invited to such a personal meeting, but she was glad that she had found friends like them in her life. It would be nice if she got a whiff of how Mbali and Sino were raised.

Lisa: Yeah sure, I'd love to.

Mbali: Great, now I'm so hungry, can someone order chips and pizza please.

Sino: I was starting to wonder where that little rascal was?

Lisa: Who?

Sino: Oh, Mbali blames her child for the food she munches.

Lisa raises her eyebrow at the revelation. In the short span of time she's known Mbali, it did sound like something she would do or say.

Mbali: It's the child really, I've never really ate this much back then.

Lisa: Damn, it must be a struggle huh? With the cravings and morning sickness.

Lisa had experienced the first stage of pregnancy where she had morning sickness. Her heart swelled up at the thought of her now dead child.

Mbali: You have no idea, then there's the third trimester, apparently it's the worst.

Sino: I'll order pizza.

Siya: Ngine nkinga! (I have a problem)

Sanele: What is it?

Snakes: Your dick can't get up?

Siya: Uzonya Snakes? (You'll shit yourself)

Snakes smirked and sipped his whiskey.

Siya: Remember I told you guys about Sizwe?

Snakes: Are you talking about the Sizwe that killed his sister?

Sanele: Pussy!

Snakes: Right?

Siya sighed. One thing, they despised human traffickers, in the underground everyone who wanted to work with The Crucible Brothers, knew that they had to bring any business other than human trafficking.

Siya: Well, that dick has been hanging around my girl.

Snakes: Hanging around your girl, how?

Siya: I think something's wrong.

Sanele: You think he's trying to sell her?

Siya: Nah, I mean I'm pretty sure he had many chances to, and he didn't. I think he's hitting on my girl man.

Snakes crackled up at his brother's face after he used every fibre of his body to admit to such. He knew no man ever wanted to admit to having their woman being hit on by another man, especially if that man knew the woman was seeing someone else. It was embarrassing, it meant that there was no respect whatsoever.

Snakes: Ahh, competition!

Snakes reached for the whiskey, pouring himself half a glass and putting it back to it's place.

Siya: Mxm, Sino can never fall for that fucker!

Sanele: She fell for you.

Sanele shrugged as he drank his drink. Siya glared at him.

Siya: Something is off about him, I want him tailed.

Snakes: I'll dig more on him, in the meantime get Muzi to get someone to tail him.

Siya: I think Muzi should do it himself, he's not sloppy.

Sanele: Good call.

Siya: That prickhead.

Snakes: Damn, he really got in your panties.

Siya: Snakes I swear- just shut the fuck up.

Snakes couldn't imagine another man scouting for his woman, he had to understand where Siya was coming from.

Sanele: I'm meeting the rents this weekend.

Snakes: Good luck.

Siya: He'll need it.

Sanele: You coming.

He stated looking at Siya like he was the dumbest thing ever created. Siya shrugged not getting where his brother was coming from with his statement.

Siya: So? They not my inlaws bafo.

Snakes: Technically, they are. They are Sino's foster parents.

Snakes shrugged. Siya's face went pale. It was so comical to see how the tables reversed so fast on him.

Siya: Shit shit shit.

Snakes shook his head. Sanele laughed at his brother.

Siya: Ahh, angiyi lapho mina (I'm not going)

Sanele: You going to let your girl go to another province alone.

Snakes: Aren't they like what? Preying on her as it is?

Siya: Eh, at least I didn't impregnate anyone.

Sanele: As if you've been pulling out!

Snakes: Okay girls, stop talking about shit!

Sanele smacked his head.

The doorbell rang, and Sino went to open it. After she paid the pizza guy she called everyone over. Soon everyone was sitting around in the living room eating and laughing.

Mbali: It's not fair that I can't drink.

She whined as she sipped her orange juice.

Lisa: I'm not drinking, so I got you girl.

Mbali: No offense babes, but that doesn't make me feel better, ngizo ndinga iSavanna to make me feel better. (I'll need Savanna)

Were we're now at the airport getting ready to depart in our private jet. Honestly I'm afraid of anything that involves flying and heights. I've been awfully quiet since we arrived at the airport. Sino is with Siya somewhere in this plane, I swear those two love sex. It's all they ever do, we hardly see them. Mbali is reading a magazine while Sanele is on the phone. I guess I'm the only one who's not used to flying.

Snakes: You okay?

Me: Uhh yeah I'm fine.

I give him a weak smile, which he obviously saw through. The plane takes off, I grip hard on the armrest clutching my eyes shut. I felt like my intestines were dropping low, shit!

I feel a hand on top of mine, I look to the side and see Snakes focusing on his phone but holding my hand, I smile as I take in his side view.

He's a gorgeous man, set jawline, hearty pink lips, full on dark brows. His dyed blonde curly hair ever in a high bun. He looks relaxed and surprisingly not in a suit. God that man and formal wear. He's actually wearing simple joggers with nike trainers and a simple tee. Hot! He catches me staring and raises his perfectly trimmed brow at me. I smile shyly and look away. The things he makes me feel.

Mbali: Sanele boo!

Mbali whines as she settles the magazine aside. Siya emerges from the other room if you could call it that.

Siya: Oh no!

He says in exasperation as he sits down on one of the sofas. Mbali glares at him, if looks could kill, that man would be six feet. My thoughts wander to Sino's whereabouts.

Snakes: Well this is not gonna end nice.

The man next to me murmurs under his breath. Sanele drops the call and makes his way over to his girlfriend, pecking her lips and sitting next to her.

Sanele: What do you need my love?

Siya decides to butt in instead.

Siya: She wants food, isn't obvious?

Rolling his eyes. Just then Sino comes out and takes a seat next to Siya, kissing his cheek. How cute!

Mbali: Siya, what are you implying heh? That the only thing I think about is food?

Siya: What did you want then huh?

Snakes: He's a dead man.

Never taking his eyes off that damn phone, who's he even texting right now, are we even allowed to make phone calls and texts, shouldn't it be like on airplane mode or something?

Mbali: Well, I mean right now I was-

Siya: I told you, she only thinks about food.

Sanele: Shut up man, focus on your woman.

Mbali glares at Siya, but he seems unraveled as he just rolls his eyes. One of these days, Mbali is gonna murder him in his sleep, never mess with a pregnant woman.

Sanele: I'll ask someone to prepare something for you alright.

Mbali nods and kisses him, aww how cute.

I smile and turn away to look at Snakes. Is he serious. I snatch the phone from his hands and put in my back pocket while sitting on it, let it break for all I care.

He gapes at me and I give him a look that dares him to say anything. He surrenders and instead rests his head on my lap. That's right. Stupid phone!
