Sino: Can't we just crash at a hotel, you know like last time? Yho hai, I can't.

Lisa: I feel you sisters, between Snakes and Mbali's dad, you could choke on that testosterone, die a sad death.

Mbali and Sino laughed, they were currently in Mbali's old room, after arriving an hour ago, much to Mbali's mother's dismay. They settled in her room. Sino and Lisa had yet to unpack their clothes as well.

Mbali: Eish, babes listen.

Mbali took Sino's hands in hers as she dragged her to sit next to her in bed. She felt like she needed to reassure her that she has nothing to worry about.

Mbali: I know what happened last time- anyway what I'm trying to say is, I understand if you want to go back, I mean-

Sino: What? No, don't be ridiculous. I want to be here with you guys, now stop it and let's help you unpack.

Mbali smiled and hugged her best friend, they've been through a lot together so this too they will get through it together, and with the newest member of their sisterhood.

Mbali: Come here wena somnayama (darkie)

Lisa chuckled and joined the hug.

Lisa: When do you think they'll be back, it's been 2 hours now.

Mbali: I don't know, they probably on their way back now.

Sino: Who knew, vele baphuma emLazi! (they from Mlazi for real)

Mbali: Yey, those boys will surprise you.

Lisa: Lapho they will.

The ladies had unpacked and relaxed for another hour until they had to go sit in the lounge with everyone else, which consisted of Mbali's two aunts and their husbands. Her cousins, Zathu, just a teen who's in high school. And Lethu, just a year older than Mbali, let's just say they don't go head to head.

The boys had gone to fetch the Nkosi uncles from Emlazi for the ceremony tomorrow, they had planned on getting them to stay over this side instead of traveling on the specific day, it was better they stayed in a hotel. They had also came here with MaNkosi, Sanele, and Siya's mother. Just for moral support.

Uncle1: Aww ngane yam, awutsho yaphuka kanjani ikhondomu, wawumkhulu kakhulu umthondo. ( Tell me this my child, how did the condom break? Was the penis too big?)

Gasps and chuckles were heard in the room, that was how he was, too blunt but in no way of hurting someone, well not intentionally. He just spoke his mind, not caring how people felt, whether they were hurt by his words or not.

Lethu: Malume (Uncle), she was just opening her legs to the first man she saw.

Mbali was not at all surprised by her nasty remark. In her condition, she was to not stress so her entertaining petty things would just raise up unnecessary stress. Choosing to ignore Lethu she turned to her uncle.

Mbali: Awu malume, cha! (Uncle, no!)

Uncle1: Ngiyasho nje (I'm just asking)

His wife shook her head.

The door opened and the boys strode in looking like they owned the whole world, in their casual wear clothes. Sanele was chatting randomly to his brother while Snakes was intimidatly typing on his phone not paying attention to everyone's eyes on them. Zanele just rolled her eyes, there was something that just gave her bad vibes about Snakes and she tried to shake it off but every time she sees him, his aura makes her crumble. Snakes put his phone in his back pocket, to Lethu that seemed like the sexiest thing to do, well of course she found anything he did sexy, making it her mission to get under that man screaming his name. Sino eyed Lethu and then followed where her gaze was situated, she raised a brow at her dreamy eyes. Well, this is not good she thought to herself.

David: Ahh, you back, well make yourselves at home.

Zanele: Don't get too comfortable in my house.

She said as she got up and stormed to her room.

Aunt1: Lowo wesifazane unezinkinga (that woman has problems)

The woman clapped her hands once.

Aunt2: She has a right to act anyhow she wants, of course you wouldn't get it, you got that useless child of yours.

Aunt1 just looked down, sadness clouding her features, Zanele and Martha never really liked her, the reason being she didn't meet their standard as she was from a rural area and she didn't have as much money as them.

Uncle1: Haibo, yini inkinga yakho mfazi. (what's your problem woman?)

Martha: Mxm thula wena (you shut up)

Uncle1: Bheki khuluma nomkakho (talk to your wife)

Bheki sighed, he doesn't know why his wife has to embarrass him always, it's like she doesn't want him to get along with his brothers.

David: Aii, bafo awukhuze lapho ( Reprimand my brother)

Bheki: Martha, hai man.

Martha was about to speak again but Bheki held his hand to stop her. She rolled her eyes and decided to go join her friend.

Bheki: Ngiyaxolisa Majola (I'm sorry Majola)

He apologized to his brother's wife sincerely, he was not a bad man, he just married wrongly and unfortunately, his daughter had turned out like her mother.

Lethu: So Snakes, awutsho phela, ungisa nini eGoli? (tell me, when are you taking me to Gauteng?)

Snakes screwed his face in confusion. Was she talking to him, why? And does she know him like that. When Lisa saw her boyfriend's face she nudged him. Snakes' eyes snapped to her before going back to his phone.

Snakes: Uhamba ngami yini? (Do you need me to travel)

Lethu: Cha phela wena uyalazi iGoli so... (you know the place well)

She trailed off batting her eyelashes in a way she thought was sexy.

Mbali: Thirsty.

Mbali coughed out the word. Sino looked down trying to hide her laugh, Lisa was confused, she really was oblivious to such things, she had thought Lethu was cutting the tension in the room, she thought nothing more to her questions.

Lethu: Utheni wena? (what did you say)

Mbali: Dehydrated sisters, uthirty(you thirst)

Lethu looked at her confused, I mean she was literally holding up a glass of juice, what was Mbali talking about.

Lethu: Ngiphethe ingilazi yami yejusi, ukhuluma ngani? (i have my glass of juice, what are you talking about?)

Mbali: Awe ma! (oh my)

Siya: Yho!

He laughed along with Sino. Lisa shook her head, Sanele was just looking at her like she spoke Greek, Snakes just nodded his head, thinking just how stupid she was.

Snakes: Right!

He muttered while nodding his head, he couldn't believe someone who tried to flirt with him was this stupid. He felt insulted, to say the least, does he look like someone who just dates anybody, hell fuck anybody?

David: My brothers, let's go, it's getting late now.

Bheki: Iyobonana kusasa bafo. (I'll see you tomorrow brother)

Duma: Ehh, bafo, leyi ngane zikhuluma ngani manje? (what are these children talking about now?)

He said getting up, shaking his head, he genuinely didn't know what they were talking about.

Everyone left except for the women, they had to stay to wake up early and prepare for tomorrow's guests.
