The battle between Y/n and Ash has had an extraordinary start. First was the double knock out between Scorpia and Melmetal and now Lycanroc has been defeated by Mega Hades. Ash is left with 1 pokemon and with toxic spikes still in effect he doesn't have much options. Rowlet is the only pokemkn who wouldn't be affected by the toxic spikes by is a horrible matchup against Hades and what ever pokemon Y/n has left. Torracat had a better chance with revenge but Torracat doesn't have the bulk and stamina to deal with toxic spikes as Ash's main problem is the toxic Spikes. He then remembered something from Sinnoh. In his battle against Paul he destroyed the toxic spikes used in their battle with a flare blitz from infernape which incinerated the attack and gave Ash the advantage.

Obviously, Ash doesn't have infernape but he has another option.

Ash:Pikachu I choose you!

Ash's most trustful companion is his last pokemon.

Ash:Use electro Web on the field.

Before Pikachu touches the ground he sets an electro Web onto the battlefield which Hades dodges but it allows Pikachu to land on the field with touching it.

Y/n:Use nasty plot!

Hades glows pure black as Ash starts the next phase of his plan.

Ash:Use thunderbolt!

Y/n:Dodge it!

Hades leaps high into the air as pikachu sends a bolt of lightning not aimed at Hades, but at the battlefield. The electric type attack hits the ground which begins to explode in multiple areas as Y/n realises that Ash has destroyed his toxic spikes.

Y/n:Use Flamethrower!

Ash:Quick attack!

Before the hellhound's attack could connect pikachu bashes into him with a hard hitting quick attack.Both pokemon fall onto the ground as Pikachu is unaffected by any status.

Y/n:Smart move. But will you do now. Hades Use Flamethrower!

Ash:Counter with thunderbolt!

The two attacks slide across each other as both attacks hit their targets for heavy damage.

Y/n:Use Dark pulse!

Ash:Counter with iron tail!

Hades blasts waves of dark type energy towards Pikachu who is just about able to Counter each strike with iron tail, sending them back at the mega evolved foe who takes alot of damage from his own attack since he boosted his special attack and pikachu deflected it for double the damage.

Ash:Use quick attack!

Y/n:Stand.

Before Ash could realise his mistake Pikachu collides into Hades.

Y/n:Counter!

Hades glows red before swinging Pikachu away with a smash from his horn. However, Hades was very exhausted from his earlier battles and the thunderbolts from pikachu.

Ash:Now thunderbolt.

A final thunderbolt crashes into Hades as he reverts back to his regular form unconscious.

Kukui:Houndoom is unable to battle. Y/n please send out your final pokemon.

Y/n had a shocked expression on his face. He has never lost 1 pokemon let alone 2 in a battle before. He grabbed his final pokemon and sent out his last pokemon.

Y/n:Hydra I choose you!
