Mercenary job hunting for Elijah had proven to be difficult ever since he got back, I.M.P was out the question, and the royals have already hired mercenaries already. So Elijah to give that line of work a break and invest himself in technology, something Lucifer that he can invest in while keeping Elijah close. As he offered him a job as the family tech expert and inventor, something Elijah gladly took as he started working at the family palace in his own tech lab. Elijah would be seen working on A.I, cybernetic enhancements, strong retractable, and much much more.

A lot of times he would have to stay over on time consuming projects that forced him to sleep at the palace ether on the couch of his lab. Or in his own nearby room with trees from the family garden outside.

But being that Elijah was now under his grandparents management, they made him wear clothes they thought suited him for his new role.
