《Doki Doki Lesbian Club》Chapter 18 - Preparation

2æ4ñ8ñg:
As Monday rolled around and hit all the dokis like a truck, they did nothing but wish it was still Sunday so they wouldn't have to deal with school.
Sayori usually gets up late, you'd think it was an accident, but no, No it wasn't. The truth is she got up late so she wouldn't have to spend time with her family, the reasons being very personal and something not even MC or Monika knew, she was too scared to tell others.
Her household was very sticked and religious, no tolerance for anything that would be considered a sin or crime against God.
When Sayori was in primary school, with no understanding of sexuality or the hatred her parents secretly helled towards people, she grew a strong crush on a girl with long brown hair and ribbons. Unfortunately Sayori was shy at the time and was only able to slightly become friends with the girl before her first love suddenly moved away for her parents work, it was so sudden Sayori still can't remember the little girls name or face even in the present.
Little Sayori cried and cried, running to her mother and father to tell them the horrible heart break she had just been through... but little did she know Sayori had signed herself up to a world of pain.
She was instantly shipped off to a conversion therapy institution by her own parents.
But at this camp they physically abused the kids so they'd 'repent'. From starving, to isolation to even whipping. They'd do it all to inocent children all in the name of god.
Sayori knew she needed to get out of there and It didn't take long for her to fool everyone into thinking she had been converted, but when she got home, her little sister had spread rumours about her all throughout the church. Meaning she was forced to go into constant confessions and deal with people out casting her and making fun of her for something she couldn't control.
Sayori's parents obviously favoured her sister over her, it was painfully obvious. Sayori's sister Sarah could do whatever she wanted to Sayori and if Sayori dared to fight back, she'd have to face a whole angry church. Her sister protended to be all religious and a perfect angel at home and at church, but as soon as she left she was nothing but a devil. Horrible to everyone, disrespectful and dressed like a slut.
Even when Sayori's parents were told about their daughters behaviour, they wouldn't believe it.
How could Sayori possibly want to spend time with people like that? How could she even be religious after going through something like that? But the conversion therapy left scars, she was afraid to be anything other then straight now a days.
Unfortunately for Sayori today was different, because she had to get up early to go help everyone take the decorations to school, so seeing her family was inevitable.
"Oh Sayori? Your up early, what a pleasant surprise!" Smiled Sayori's mum sincerely happy since they haven't talked in a while.
"Indeed, have a seat, eat some breakfast." Ordered her melancholy dad.
"Wow, waking up to go meet your girlfriend?" Scoffed Sarah. Both of her parents gasped and stared at Sayori.
"Sayori is this true!?" Said her mum in shock.
"If so then you've got a lot of explaining to do young lady!!" Yelled her dad getting angry.
"Yeah I heared she joined a club with nothing but lesbians in it. You going to mess with them or something? You know hanging around gay people is going to be a bad influence." Smirked her sister playing on her phone as both her parents looked at Sayori as if they were going to explode from anger. Sayori put on her fake smile and slightly waver her hands in the air defensively.

"No, of course not. I know now being anything but straight is a disgusting sin. I'd never betray god like that, I've learned from my mistakes." Said Sayori moving her hands to make the cross shape on her chest.
"Mother, father you don't have to worry. I joined a literature club, not a lesbian club, because it's my worst subject and the president happens to be a member of the student council and has been helping me with my studies." Smiled Sayori with her eyes closed as she sat down at the table with unsure parents.
"Although it is true there are only girls in the club at the moment, I recently got MC to join!" Said Sayori happily. Both of her parents faces lit up with joy and happily nodded in approval, smiling content with what Sayori had said. Though her sister was disappointed and did a 'tch' noise before starting to eat, wishing she could get some entertainment out of her older sister.
The whole breakfast was exactly how Sayori imagined it to be, her mother trying hard to make some sort of small talk, her father making sexist, racist, transohobic and any kind of ist comments you could think or and Sarah agreeing with her dad, stroking his ego to get even further on his good side.
Sayori bretend to enjoy her mums cooking so much she couldn't stop stuffing her face, earning a content smile from her mother who offered Sayori some seconds. Sayori didn't really care, she just wanted to avoid having any kind of real conversation with these devils and shedy gladly shove down any plastic tasting food to do so.
Her mums cooking used to be so tasty and the highlight of Sayoris day, but ever since she got back from the camp it always tasted bland, like she was eating a piece of paper and the more colourful and beautiful the dish the more disgusting it would be. Things were just never the same.
Her mother was about to give Sayori seconds, when her dad to stop her, saying that if she eats too much she'll become fat and unattractive in the eyes of god and her future husband. Sayori let our a small sigh, happy she wouldn't have to eat anymore of that disgusting food.
Sayori and her sister said goodbye to their parents before leaving the house and unfortunately began walking to school together. Not even two minutes after leaving the house Sarah rolled up her skirt so it barely covered her ass, unbuttoned her shirt to show some skin, put on some jewelry she stole from Sayori and began putting on bright and over excessive make up. Sayori looked at her sister and sighed.
"Why do you do that to yourself Sarah? Your already so beautiful, you don't need any makeup...what if you attract attention from very bad and dangerous people?" Sighed Sayori genuinely worried.
"Well then hopefully I won't be a virgin by then. I bet you've already got you cherry popped you slut." Barked Sarah.
"Sarah, what did I ever do to make you this upset with me? What can I do to make it up to you?" Softly asked Sayori with a gentle smile.
"You can go die that's what. When you were at the camp, it was amazing! All the attention and gifts were for me and no one else. I wish they'd send you back already, I mean, it's obvious your gay because of your short hair." Said Sarah flicking her long died blond hair with a smirk.

"Having short hair doesn't make you gay Sarah, I just like I because it's easier to take care of, I think it's amazing that you have the patience to deal and take care of your long and pretty hair." smilesld Sayori, just trying to make things a bit better between them.
"That's exactly what a faggot would say." Grunted Sarah rolling her eyes, Sayoris smile slightly withered.
"Well if you ever need anything from me, all you have to do is ask and I don't mind it if mum and dad take care of you more in all honesty. I can handle myself just fine and I think it's a nice thing to want to be close with mum and dad." Said Sayori being truthful and kind with every word.
Her sister just glared at her before spewing out a world worth of insults toward Sayori and Sayori heard and felt every one of them. Thank god they went separate ways when Sayori had to go to Monika's house, otherwise she would've been in tears.
By the time she reached Monika's house, almost all of her energy was gone and she couldn't even smile anymore. Even if she did she knew Monika would know something was wrong, she always knew.
Sayori couldn't help but get a little annoyed or worried about it every time she was around her, but Sayori couldn't get that warm feeling around anyone but Monika, just Monika.
She took a deep breath before smiling sweetly like her perents had taught her and rang the doorbell three times to signal it was her. She waited around a minute and was about to ring again when she heared foot steps coming from the other side. When the door opened Sayoris eyes widened and she grew a little red.
Monika was still in her pajamas from the other night, her long, goergous hazel nut hair naturally falling down her sides with a little messy look to them, making Sayoris heart ache at how sexy it looked. Monika was wearing a big oversized black T-Shirt that fell almost half way down her thighs, almost completely covering the hot pink shorts she wore underneath. It also didn't help that Monika did a cute little yawn as she cutely rubbed her half closed eyes.
Barely anyone ever got to see a Monika that wasn't perfectly straightened out like an ironed shirt and wrapped up like a perfect present with a perfect white ribbon. This was a special and amazing sight to see and no matter how many times she saw it Sayori never thought otherwise.
"Sayori? What are you *yawn* doing here so early..?" Slowly said Monika, putting her hand up to her mouth as she yawned, clearly tiered. Sayori pulled out her phone out and realised she must have accidentally set her alarm clock at least 2 hours earlier then she was supposed too. Meaning she was indeed around 2 hours early. She face planted herself and felt her heat slightly rise up as Monika hugged her.
"Hehe, Um Monika? What are you doing?" Said Sayori genuinely smiling.
'There's that warmth again...' Thought Sayori.
"I'm low on energy, so I'm recharging." Said Monika in a sexy pillow talk kinda voice as she relaxed onto Sayori, resting her arms on Sayori's hips and head on her shoulder. Sayori gladly returned the hug and felt herself grow even hotter when Monikas warm breath hit Sayori straight onto her necks sensitive spot, causing a long shiver to run down every inch of Sayoris spine.
"Sayori you smell nice..." Said Monika sounding like she was about to fall asleep, her slightly tight grip on Monika loosening.
"Hell no, Monika! You are not falling asleep on me!" Giggled Sayori as she pushed Monika away, only making the tall brown haired baby pout adorably. But Sayori couldn't help but think there was something else in Monika's eyes, almost predator as she was looking at Sayori right now.
"Well come on, don't want you catching a cold now do we?" Said Monika moving aside so Sayori could enter the house. Sayori shook of those strange thoughts before walking in.
'I'm sure I'm just imagining things.'
{@ Natsuki's Place: }
Natsuki groggily got up to her alarm clock and threw it across the room only to have it continue its wrath of beeps. But at least she got up to a clean house that no longer smelt of alchohl and smoke but lemon, flowers and bleach with some washing liquid instead. She almost rated up all night just cleaning the house top to bottom.
'Totally worth it.' though Natsuki slamming her alarm clock onto her bedside stool.
Natsuki packed her bag with all her homework and note books before remembering she could pack herself some lunch for once. There wasn't much, but there was just about enough to make a decent lunch. It consisted of a single carrot, packet of crisps, protein bar and a fizzy, fruity alchoholic drink her dad bought and didn't like, but never threw away, so it was all for the taking.
'No one goes to the roof anyways, so it's not like anyone is going to know.' smirked Natsuki.
Just then she felt a buzz in her pocket and pulled out her phone only to see she got a text from her goddess Yuri.
"Weird, wonder what she wants?" Said Natsuki opening her message app.
Natsuki blushed just a little.
Yuri blushed not expecting Natsuki to respond, let alone say yes!
Natsuki left the house shortly after with an extra hop and skip to her step because of the fluttering and excitement in her heart.
"Not only is my dad gone, bit I get to walk with Yuri?! Could this day get any better!?" Mumbled Natsuki unable to control her small grin and was more then happy to see Yuri waiting for her at the chosen destination.
"Sorry, did I keep you waiting?" Asked Natsuki slightly waving to Yuri as she walked closer, trying desperately not to look Yuri up and down and hide her huge smile.
"No, you didn't don't worry." Said Yuri as she approached Natsuki and wrapped her arms around the smaller girl. Nutsuki grew small pink blushes on her cheeks as she returned the hug, smiling like a lunatic.
'Yep it did get better!' thought Natsuki trying to control her excited heart at the feeling of Yuri's breasts against her. As if she just realised what she had done, Yuri practically jumped off of Natsuki.
"S-Sorry I should had asked first!" Said Yuri fiddling with piece of her hair as it cloaked her face.
"Nah, it's fine. A little surprising, but fine. I'm wondering why though? I never took you for the hugging type like Sayori, I guess you're full of surprises huh?" Giggled Natsuki at Yuri's obviously overly flustered face, unable to contain her smile. Yuri froze at the sight, just staring in adoration for a few seconds before clearing her throat and speaking.
"W-We're friends now, right?" Quietly asked Yuri, now using both hands to fiddle with her hair as she avoided all eye contact. Now it was Natsukis turn to blush.
"U-Uh y-yeah, I guess we are f-friends." Said Natsuki scratching the back of her head nervously, still smiling though.
"T-Then Is it ok if I h-hug you every now and then...?" Said Yuri very very quietly, blushing like a mad man.
Natsuki was now also blushing like a mad man.
"S-Sure, j-just not all the time like Sayori, that shit gets embarrassing." Said Natsuki letting out a cute giggle, accidentally causing Yuri to malfunction for a small second.
"O-Of course a-and same goes for you." Quietly said Yuri, after regaining control of her brain.
"Well come on then Yuri, if we wait any longer I bet Sayori will get there before we do and of that happens we won't have any baked goods left!" Giggled Natsuki.
"R-Right." Stuttered Yuri. They walked for a little bit in silence until Natsuki popped the million dollar question.
"So, how was it when you went back home? How was your sister?" Asked Natsuki.
"I got lucky, she was passed out on the sofa, so I didn't have to talk to her." Said Yuri with a relieved smile.
"Holy shit what luck! Come to think of it, I was kinda lucky too yesterday." Said Natsuki also smiling with a toothy grin.
"How so?" Asked Yuri, tilting her head cutely to the side in curiousity.
"My dad got a new job and moved away to work there, so I have the whole house all to myself for months! How great is that?!" Exclaimed Natsuki smiling more widely.
Yuri frowned.
"So your going to be home alone? For months? Natsuki that's dangerous..." Said Yuri in a worried tone.
"Heh, I think you'll find I'm much more safer now then I was before." Blurrted out Natsuki, too happy to realise how worrying that sounded. Yuri was smart and chose not to pry.
As expected it only took a short amount of time before they reached Monika's house and too their surprise, Sayori was already there. Ten minutes later they had successfully packed everything they needed for the festival. The school wasn't open to the public so it was just a good opportunity for clubs to get more members, the whole day would just be kids wondering the school not doing lessons, looking for knew clubs and being forced to wear a school uniform.
The girls didn't just pack what they made but a few other things for decoration purposes and even bought a fair amount of sweets on the way to school to draw more attention. When they got to school they were all surprised to be the only ones there and got to the classroom without having to push aside any other anoying classmates.
They rearranged all the desks to look like tables and made two long ones on the left and right side of the room and one desk in the middle of the room. Monika decided it would lighten the place up if she brought a few pure white table cloths and they were just able to cover every desk they used.
Natsuki layed out all the food and drinks they had on the left hand side by the windows, before going to help Yuri put up the banner at the entrance and trying hard not to look up Yuri's skirt when she helled the ladder still for the purple haired godess.
'Striped...' thought Natsuki tightly closing her eyes.
Monika and Sayori layed out all the panflips on the small table in the middle and put a pile of sheets beside them for students to fill out if they wanted to join.
While Monika hanged up some origami animals and plants on the ceiling for decoration, Sayori was doodling smily faces, hears, stars and all sorts of cute things all over the white boards with many different coloured pens.
After Yuri hung up the banner and looked at the blushing Natsuki in confusion, she placed and ordered all the books from novels, to comics, to manga, on the long table on the right hand side of the classroom.
The remainder of the time was them trying to stop Sayori from eating all their sugary treats and stopping Natsuki from punching MC who arrived as soon as all the work was done, even though they texted him the time he needed to be there several times.
After sayori and Natsuki calmed down, the group decided to make plans on who gets to go explore the different club rooms, because staying cooped up in one room for 5 hours in school is torcher not matter how you look at it.
However Monika knew she couldn't leave the room being the club president and the only one who could proparly answer anyone's questions about the club and paired Sayori up with MC so she could have fun and not be alone.
Sayori was happy but Monika was not, no matter how much the brunette fake smiled.
MC was smug about the whole thing. Fucking prick why did I even create him...
Of course Monika paired up Natsuki and Yuri before telling all the other members to go out for an hour, come back and then switch shifts. Natsuki and Yuri were the first to go when it was announced the festival had begun by the school bell..

Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.
