It wasn't cold.
Cold was an understatement. It was a body trembling, goose bump rippling cold. It was freezing. I knew my breath was fogging in front of my face-not that I could really see it, it was too dark.
I had a torn hoodie around my busty torso and a pair of old jeans sagging from my legs. My dark hair was a messy tangle against my forehead, stuck there from the dampness of my skin. I felt my skin crawl with shivers as my nerves tingled with a stinging sensation.
"Get up!" The low voice growled.
With some difficulty, I found my legs-there was an unsettling pain lingering in them.
Carter stood in infront of me, his shoulders broad and stiff, "My boss is here to see ya, seein' as ya tried to run, you're gonna get your punishment-just you wait."
I felt bats dash around in my stomach as I nodded.
His hand wrapped around my slender wrist, he yanked me forward, my body flying into him from the lack of weight I carried. He practically dragged me past the rest of the drug runners; my legs had turned to jelly.
"Here she is," Carter said, launching me on the floor infront of a hooded figure. "The dirty slut that tried to run."
My arms shook as I pushed myself up off of the floor. I hugged my frail body tightly, trying not to show that I was shaking.
The man took his hood down. I couldn't help but stare at his face. He had tattoos on his sharp cheeks and on his neck. His skin was dark and his biceps were huge. His face was stern, but the look suited him. His eyes glistened with a mischievous glint as he watched me. He was ample with pure muscle.

I dragged my eyes away from him, looking at the door behind him.
I tried my chances.
I ran.
I might've been small, but I could run fast.
I was almost at the door.
My heart pounded against my rib cage.
Duh-dum!
Duh-dum!
Duh-dum!
Rough hands grabbed my wrists and pinned me chest forward into the wall.
"Don't even try it, slut." Carter growled against my ear, his crotch pressing against my ass. I felt sick at his touch. He made my skin crawl with disgust.
"Get off!" I felt the tears well in my eyes.
"Carter."
"Yes boss?"
"Come away."
Carter obediently moved away from me.
The man walked over, lifting my chin and tilting my face to the side. I felt his dark eyes examine my face.
"P-please don't hurt me! I-I never meant to do any harm! P-please!"
The mans face turned as hard as stone, "Carter!" He barked roughly. "This girl doesn't need punishment! She's needs a fuckin' hospital!"
I shook violently under his touch.
"Can't ya see she ain't well?! What's ya name miss?"
"N-Natasha."
"Natasha what?" He asked.
"Just Natasha." I mumbled, after everything I'd been through I was not going to blow the plan. I couldn't betray my family like that. I had to keep my chin up and push through all of the abuse.
"C'mon Nat, we'll fix ya up at my place."
"Th-thank you." I mumbled.
"Are ya gonna bring her back?" Carter asked.
"I might." The man said, taking me out to his car.
