《My Sons Tutor || Jayceon Taylor & Amber Riley》Chapter 12

A weeks later -
Amber -
I was sitting at my desk on break eating this salad Jayceon had made me, when I reminded myself to grab something to eat before going back home. That's right, Jayceon had been begging me to move in with him and the kids.
At first I didn't feel comfortable because it was the house he and his ex wife bought together, but he sat me down and told me soon before we had the baby we would go buy our own house.
I couldn't believe it, every day I was still coming to grips with the fact that I was pregnant. Jayceon and the kids loved it, however, they were driving me nuts. I loved being around him and the kids don't get me wrong, but I hated when they treated me like a baby, and Jayce was driving me crazy with this health food shit, every day he was making me eat salads, and smoothies with Kale.
Despite the nasty meals and dictating what I could and couldn't eat, was that he was reading all these books on how to communicate with children. He was taking his time with King and learning how to talk to him, he also wanted to read to the baby and rub my stomach every night. There was no doubt Jayceon was a good daddy. I had started typing on my computer when my door opened.
"Hey babe," Jayceon smiled brightly as he came through the door with McDonald's. Was it bad that I was more interested in the McDonald's then him.
"Hey honey," I said as I got up. We hugged and kissed then he bent down and kissed my stomach twice.
"I just wanted to come eat lunch with you, and I decided since you been eating healthy all week you deserve a lil cheat," he said as he put the bag on the table.
"Now I don't feel guilty because I was going to go cheat," I said laughing as he shook his head while reaching in the bag.
"What you doing?" He asked me.
"Nothing now I don't have another class until 3:30, so I've been grading papers and updating grades, I'm a little tired now plus our baby has been kicking like crazy," I said as I stole some of his fries and sipped his drink.
"You got some more work to do?" He asked me.
"Yeah these two folders," I said showing him the thick folders that sat at the end of my desk.

"Well I'll help you babe,"
"Okay baby you sure?" I asked him.
"Yeah baby the doctor said no stress at all I don't want you to get overwhelmed with all this pass me a pen," he said to me. I went inside my desk and handed him a pen, I gave him the answer sheet and he started grading whatever was in the folder.
My break was over and Jayce had finished both folders and was helping me get my lesson plan for tomorrow together.
"Alright lady bug I gotta go pick up the kids, but I'll see you tonight Okay," he said getting up and putting on his jacket.
"Okay baby, I'll see you when I get home," Home? I didn't think I'd ever be saying that. I guess he caught on and smiled. He leaned over the desk and we kissed.
"I love you babe,"
"I love you too baby see you,"
"See you,"
As soon as he left I got sad, I already missed him and couldn't wait to go home.

Jayceon -
After getting the kids I went home and started cooking dinner. "Daddy what you making?" King asked.
"Please let it be fried chicken or something I'm tired of healthy stuff if I see another salad I'm going to die," Harlem said exaggerating.
"Oh hush boy, you guys know Amber is pregnant and she has to eat healthy food what would it like if she ate healthy and we ate junk," I said as I opened the bag of peas.
"Daddy's right we have to show Amb we support her," Cali said smiling.
"Yeah Harlem when she says help with laundry or take the trash out don't give her a hard time if I hear about you doing that again im taking that game away," I said sternly.
"So daddy do you and Amber know what you're having yet?" Cali asked.
"No sweetheart we're going to wait until she gives birth, we want it to be a surprise,"
"Oh man I haven't to wait to find out if I'm having a sister or not," Cali said rolling her eyes. I laughed, the alarm went off signaling the door being opened.
"Babe I'm home!" Amber yelled out.
"We're in the kitchen!" I yelled back.
"Hey Mama," King said as he jumped down out his stole giving it to Amber to sit down.
"Hey sweetheart, how was school?" She asked him as they hugged.

"It was good,"
"Hey princess," she said kissing Cali's forehead.
"Hey mama,"
The kids gave each other this signal and they left laughing.
"They a trip," I said as we laughed. Amber leaned in for a kiss and I pecked her lips.
"What you cooking baby?" She asked me as she wrapped her arms around me.
"Home made shrimp fried rice, and some homemade honey party wings,"
"Sounds good im going to go shower and change,"
"Alright," Amber left and I finished cooking. Once I was done I called everybody down and we all sat around the table laughing and eating. After dinner we all watched The Best Man Holiday. Amber had went upstairs with the boys and it was just me and Cali talking.
"That movie was sad daddy I hate that she died I hate death," Cali said sadly.
"I'm sorry princess we won't watch it again,"
"No I mean there was some good parts like when they get married even though I hate the death part,"
"I know sweetheart death happens you don't be afraid of it, you embrace it it's part of life one day we all are going to die but that's why we make it a part to live our life the right way baby girl," I said as I kissed her forehead.
"Daddy are you going to marry Amber?" She asked me.
"Soon princess,"
"What's soon daddy? Why not today?" She asked me.
"Baby you can't rush marriage, it has to happen at the right time, I'm just making sure that this is really it,"
"Are you holding back because of mommy?" Cali asked me. I didn't know how to answer that question or what to say.

Amber -
I was about to come downstairs when I heard Cali and Jayceon talking . I wasn't going to listen in st first, but then I stopped when I heard Cali ask him about me. Daddy are you going to marry Amber?" She asked me.
"Soon princess,"
"What's soon daddy? Why not today?" She asked me.
"Baby you can't rush marriage, it has to happen at the right time, I'm just making sure that this is really it,"
If this is really it? What does he mean exactly? It was okay to get me pregnant but now he has to make sure if he can marry me. I tried my hardest not to overthink and blow this up over nothing but when she asked him the next question I was on edge waiting to hear what he had to say.
"Are you holding back because of mommy?"
A question that I had asked in my mind so many times. I wanted to marry Jayceon. I wanted to be his wife and have his last name. I felt second place. I felt like I was fighting for his heart so many times even though he said I had it.
"Kinda But... listen baby girl, I'll always love you mother, but I love Amber, I guess your mom dying scared me a lot. I don't wanna fall deep in love with Amber and then something happens to her and then I end up beating myself all over again. I guess I can say I love her, I want to marry her but not right now. I just need sometime to figure things out,"
My heart shattered into so many pieces. I wiped the tear that fell from my eyes. I don't want to fall deep in love. So he's not in love with me? He says he guesses he can say that he loves me. He just need to figure things out.
I don't know if it was my hormones driving me wild but I was so heartbroken and angry, I instantly stormed in the bedroom grabbing my things and packing. I was almost done grabbing my things out of the closet when he came in the room.
"Amb what's wrong why you packing?"
"Just like you I just need to figure some things out," I said with tears in my eyes as I brushed passed him grabbing my bags and going down stairs.
"Amber wait wait what's this about come on baby let's just talk,"
"Jayceon I don't want to talk, I just want to leave,"
"Baby come on," he tried to grab my arm the minute I opened the door but I snatched it away.
"It was so easy for you to get me pregnant but now you have to think about marrying me, don't bother Jayceon I don't wanna marry you, I'm not going to be second place, I feel like I'm fighting for your heart and I can't keep doing that, I love you so much Jayceon but I can't I just can't,"
"Amber! Amber! Amber!" He called after me but I got in my car and sped off. Once I made it home I climbed in the bed with Ashley and Ariel they both held me as I cried. I cried all night long
