《The Vampire Titan》Plans

~Krystalyn's POV~
We were back in Seth's master tent, with him spinning around in his chair, while the rest of us huddled around a white board. The twin Hunters from before, John and Jason, had joined us, along with another werewolf, Cole, Fuss, Katarina, and another vampire, Logan.
We must have looked like a strange group, but we seemed to work together. Damien and Claire explained the route to everyone, and Katarina drew up the map for us all to see. The room darkened, and looking at the map, we could see that a few more groups of vampires had made their way into the campsite.
"Won't it be suspicious if you two don't show up soon?" Logan asked, his red eyes darting inbetween my siblings. He was a 'fairy tale' vampire, and occasionally, a ray of sunlight would peek through the tent, and he would sparkle like a disco ball.
Damien had a grim look on his face as he nodded. "I was just thinking about that," he admitted. "If we don't show up by tomorrow morning, someone will call Jeremy."
"Then you'll leave in an hour," John stated, and I blinked.
"Excuse me?" I asked, putting a hand on my hip. "Since when do you call the shots?"
He and his brother glared. "We can't risk any suspicion," Jason said. "Besides, if they're already at the meeting place, we have people on the inside. We need them to go."
Before I could object, Damien nodded. "We'll leave in an hour then."
"But-"
"Krys, it's fine," he shushed, putting his hand on my shoulder. "We can be on border control, and easily let everyone in."
I mashed my lips together, debating on if I should object again, but sighed. "Fine."
Fuss screeched, and picked up the red marker, drawing on the white board. It looked funny to see the tiny creature struggle with the writing tool, but I held in my laughter.
"He says that he can take a small group right inside the campsite, and take the rest right outside," Starfire translated.
Fuss drew circles and X's, further explaining, but Seth batted him away, snatching the marker. "We can make it more dramatic that way, too," he grinned, drawing a stick figure with a crown. "And we take over the world!" He laughed evilly, clapping his hands.
Cole had a frightened look on his face, and gently pulled Seth away. "Why don't you go do, um, something?"
"I am doing something!" the vampire defended, pushing Cole away. "I'm planning the Fangs' demise!"
The room suddenly lit up, and the map that Katarina had conjured disappeared. "I can't concentrate with you acting like an idiot," she accused. She was glaring, but Seth seemed oblivious.

"My poor witch," he sighed. "I'm sorry these people have no respect for you. What do you need? Anything you ask, and I'll have it front of you in a heartbeat."
I saw a slight smirk on her face, and she crossed her arms. "Anything?" she asked, with an eyebrow raised.
"Anything." Seth made an 'x' like motion over his un-beating heart, and stood rim-rod straight.
"Your head," she stated. "On a silver platter."
Cyborg snickered, typing something into his robotic arm. Beastbow 'ooh-ed', and Seth's jaw dropped.
"I- I thought we had something special, Kitty-Kat!" he cried, kneeling down, and clinging to her legs.
Katarina nearly fell, but gripped onto Raven who was standing next to her. The dark girl seemed shocked, but made no move, except to glare at Seth.
"Can we get back to business here?" Damien asked, glaring at everyone.
"Lighten up, would you?" Claire huffed, rolling her eyes. "We can afford to joke around, you know."
"If we're gonna do this, we better do it right," Robin said, shaking his head. "We need to focus. We're going to have to have a solid plan, with no flaws."
Damien nodded in agreement.
"Seriously, Krystalyn?" Seth asked. "This is the guy you're dating?"
I blushed, and turned back to the white board. "Seth, get your act together. What happened to the leader I met?"
He glared for a second, and stood upright, snatching the marker back from Cole. "Fine." He marched up to the board, and spun it around so we couldn't see. I heard the sound of squeaking, and few growls, and heard him erase several things. When he was done, he spun the board back around, reaveling a large circle that represented the camp, and squiggles to show the woods surrounding. "You want a solid plan? You got one.
"The first group, containing most of our troops gets teleported right outside the North side, where Damien and Claire need to be. As soon as they get to the location, they'll call to confirm. Then, Fuss will come back to get the smaller group, including Krys, Katarina, John, Jason, Robin and I. We'll land right in the middle of the camp ground, take them by surprise." He pointed, and drew six figures. "We'll do as much damage as we can, and when they start to get their bearings - BOOM! The rest swoops in, and we slaughter! We'll equip everyone with stakes, lighters, and golden daggers. We'll have to have some people set aside to make sure we have burn piles. And we will rule the world!"
His crazy look was back, but overall, it was good.
"Where are we supposed to get golden daggers?" Claire asked, quirking an eyebrow.

"Why golden?" Beastboy asked. "You have to have silver for werewolves."
"I told you," I sighed. "We made up most of the legends. We can't be giving all our secrets to you humans."
John and Jason opened up their leather jackets to reveal all their weapons - golden daggers, golden bullets, wooden stakes, lighters, matches, the works. I suddenly felt uncomfortable being under the same roof. "We got it covered," they said in unison, and I shuddered.
"What about the witch?" Damien asked. "Jeremy recruited one. A powerful one. And no one knows how to kill a witch. It's impossible." He glanced at Katarina, and shuffled his feet.
The blonde just rolled her eyes. "Nothing's impossible. It's surprisingly easy to kill one of us." She shrugged, putting her arm on Logans shoulder, and leaning agaisnt him. "We're just smart, and don't go around blabbing our weaknesses like you lot."
"I thought you burned witches?" Beastboy was clutching his head, looking between us. "You know, burned them at the stake?"
Katarina rolled her eyes again. "Of course not. That's too easy to get out of."
"What's the secret, then?" Cyborg asked.
Katarina made the motion of zipping her lips, and shaking her head.
"Witches are secretive. Only they know how to defeat their own kind," Logan answered for her, pushing her off of him. "So if the Fangs have a witch, they're going to be caught up in their own world."
"So not much different from now," Seth commented, earning a slap.
"When will we attack?" I asked, twirling my hair around my finger. "Does everyone here have Sun Protectors?"
"Most of us," Seth answered, pointing at the piercing in his left ear. "Only a few of us don't, because of the weakness in our witch department." Another slap. "I was kidding!"
"We have too many vampires, not enough witches," Katarina sighed. "Some of them don't need protectors, like Logan here, but it's still nice to make the fairy sparkling disappear."
Logan glared, but didn't say anything.
The sound of a phone ringing made us all freeze, and stare with wide eyes at Claire, who looked like a deer caught in headlights. She slowly took out her phone, and started to hyperventilate. "What do I do?" she asked. "What do I say? How am I supposed to answer?"
"Calm down," I whispered. "Just pretend everything's normal, alright?"
She took a deep breath, before answering the phone. "Yes?" We waited for her to continue talking, and breathed a sigh of relief. "No, we're on our way. We caught the scent of an unknown wolf, and had to chase him away." Pause. "Julius?"
My eyes widened. I had forgotten about the mutt. He was still locked up in the prison in Jump City.
"I got a call from him earlier this morning. He said he got a fresh whiff of Krystalyn, something about cornering her in Guatemala - he's not sure if he'll make it." Claire was fiddling with the hem of her dress, but otherwise seemed completely calm. "I'll let him know." She hung up, and we all grinned.
"Jeremy needs help," Damien muttered. "I guess that's our cue to leave, then." He smiled softly at me, and I pulled him into a hug.
"We'll be there in the evening. Raven can help with the Protectors, and then we'll send everyone there right as the sun sets. Be ready for us, alright?"
"Since when are you calling the shots?" Seth grumbled, but I ignored him, and pulled my sister into a hug next.
"Be careful, alright?" I told her, kissing her cheek. "Remember when you wanted to be an actress in the '80s? This is your big scene, alright?"
Claire giggled, and pulled away. "Calm down, Krys, alright? You're the one I'm worried about."
"Me?" I asked, grinning. "I've been taking care of myself for three years now. I'm perfectly fine."
We pulled away, and Claire went to say goodbye to everyone else that she had befriended in the short hours we had been here.
Damien put his hand on Robin's shoulder and got a serious look on his face. "No funny business while I'm gone, got it? I may approve of you, but-"
"Damien!" I growled, glaring.
"I'll keep an eye on Kryssie here," Seth smirked, draping his arm over my shoulder. "They will not be left alone!"
"Please break my neck," I begged Katarina, but she smirked and winked.
"We better go. Be careful, all of you," Damien ordered, and then my two siblings were gone, without any further goodbye.
"Alright, let's set up the troops," Seth decided, clapping his hands, and starting to march out of the tent. He stopped, turning back to face Robin and I. "And I was serious - parental supervision!"

THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT.
Starting November, all stories will be on hold. I'm entering the NaNoWriMo, so I'll be spending as much time as possible working on that. For those of you that read my other stories, yes, I will update them at least once more before November 1st. All the stories will start back up in December, when the NaNoWriMo ends. I'm sorry if you're upset about this, but this is kind of important to me.
But I hope you liked this chapter, because it shows more developement in Robin and Krystalyn's relationship, and it shows Seths... wild side a bit more. It also shows my versions of the mythical creatures, so I hope it didn't confuse you.
Please vote and coment, and I'll see you all again in December!
Love you guys!

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
