"Come on, just go to the beach with us." Pam says, rummaging through my closet to find a bathing suit. I sigh and sit up on my bed.

"I'm not really in the mood to see your brother. He kind of ditched me at formal last night, remember?" Pam sighed in return and turned to me.

"Yeah, I know. That was a dick move, but you going will show him you aren't affected and trust me, that will drive him mad." She winks at me, and I chuckle as she throws me a yellow bikini.

"Now go get dressed. We got places to be."

I run into my bathroom, change into my bikini, and grab a towel before meeting Pam out at her car. The rest of the girls are already in there, and that leaves one spot for me in the back beside Axel. I climb in without sparing him a glance, and he sighs.

"Michelle..." He trails off, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. I just glance up at him before looking back out the window.

"What happened last night didn't mean a thing. I was going to explain that to you, but you ran out." I let out a sarcastic laugh and look up at him.

"I ran out because you kind of ditched me." I cross my arms over my chest and look back out the window. He places his thumb and index finger under my chin and turns my face to him.

"I asked you. Not her. It was a mistake, okay?" I hesitated to answer at first, but then I sighed and nodded my head. He gave me a small smile before leaning in and planting a soft kiss on my lips.

When we got to the beach, Axel practically dragged me to the water. I had to throw my stuff to Pam so it wouldn't accidentally get dragged in with me. I giggled as he jumped in and got tackled by a wave. When he came back up, he was looking at me, shaking his head and smiling. He walked over and wrapped his arms around me, and I wrapped my legs around his waist, my hands clasping around his neck.

"Wear this bikini more often." He whispered before crashing his lips on mine. When we pulled away, we were both smiling. He put me down, and we walked up to the rest of the group, hand in hand.

"Hey Michelle, do you wanna go to the bar with me?" I nod, letting go of Axel's hand and following Pam. We walk up to the beach bar. I get a banana smoothie, and Pam gets a strawberry smoothie. While we wait, she turns to me and smirks.

"So I take it you guys made up?" She questions, and I chuckle.

"Yeah, we did. I'm glad." She nods her head, and the Batista hands us our smoothies.

I was walking back from the beach bar with Pam beside me, sipping on my banana smoothie, when I saw the one thing that crushed my entire being.

"P-Pam..." I stuttered, and she shot me a confused look before looking up. She almost dropped her smoothie.

"Oh my God..." She whispers, and tears well up in my eyes.

Axel was kissing Stephanie Vitalli.

Also known as his ex girlfriend.

"You are cruisin' for a bruisin', McCarthy! Her boyfriend is here!" Danny yells, and just as Axel pulls away from her, Stephanie's boyfriend walked up and punched him in the face.

Well, I can't say he didn't deserve it.

Pam and I walked back to the others, acting as if we didn't see a thing, but my heart was breaking with every step. Axel didn't want me. He wanted everyone. I was just another hit on his list.

Finally, he walks over to all of us, and I continue to drink my smoothie. I looked up at his eyes, and I could already see the black forming around it. He comes up to me, and tries to put his arm around me, but I step away. He leans in to kiss me, and I push him away. He narrows his eyes at me and tries again, but I push him away again. "What the hell?!"

"I saw you freakin' kiss her, Axel! You actually kissed her!" His eyes go wide, and he shakes his head.

"It was just a kiss, baby." I laugh sarcastically.

"Just a kiss?" I yell, and he flinches. "I thought you cared about me! I-I thought I meant something to you!" He bitterly laughs, and walks closer to me.

"Think again, Michelle. I don't commit. You are just another hit on my list. I wouldn't try, especially for you."

In that moment, my heart felt like it had been ripped out of my chest. I stared into his brown eyes, praying for him to do something, but he never did. I turned around and ran away, tears streaming down my face.

I saw the hurt flash in her eyes, and it ripped me apart. It killed me even more when she didn't say anything, but instead she ran away. I knew she was crying, and that wrecked me. I take a deep breath, close my eyes, and kick the trash can next to me.

"Did you honestly just do that in front her?" Pam snarled, and I glared at her.

"You act like I meant to hurt her." I mumble, and she hits me in the shoulder.

"You're such a candy ass, Axel. You couldn't try to fight for her?" She yells, and I flinch. "You couldn't try for the one girl willing to be with you?" She storms away, and as I watch her go, I regret what I did even more.

"That was a dick move, man." Danny says, patting me on the shoulder before running after Pam. I watched them all go, each one of them giving me a disappointed look. I actually hurt her. The only girl who cared about me. I really hurt her.

And it killed me to know I probably lost her forever.

After downing my seventh bottle of beer, I stumbled out to my motorcycle. I was drunk out of my mind, but I didn't care. Even with being drunk, her smile kept flashing in my mind, and then I would see the hurt in her eyes. It wrecked me.

I hopped on, kick-started my motorcycle, and did a wheelie out of the bar parking lot. I sped down the road, exceeding the speed limit, when I saw red and blue flashing lights behind me.

"Dammit!" I yelled as I sped up, continuing to drive down the road. I slammed on the breaks when one cop car pulled in front of me. An officer hopped out, walking over to me and putting my hands in cuffs.

"You are under arrest for DUI and trying to run. Anything you say can and will be held against you." He walks me over to the cop car and shoves me in.

Well, this night ended fantastically.
