"Why are we even doing this again?" I whispered to Jennette who was awkwardly smiling at the two men right in front of them who were both silent as ever. Yes, what did exactly happen you may ask?

"Oh! This just crossed my mind right now, Lucas do you want to come with us? Athanasia wanted to have a picnic with us. He can come right Athy?" Jennette widened her eyes at me making me shocked, I did not know why but I ended up nodding my head.

I saw how Ejikiel looked surprised at us, I shut my eyes as I also saw how Lucas smirked and almost shoved Ejikiel away from him and walked his way to us. "I can help you bring the things." He smiled at us.

Present

"It's a very beautiful day, why are you all so awkward huh?" Jennette looked at me and giggled, I took a deep breath and snatched a cookie away from her, and ate it silently.

Due to stress, I almost choked while chewing the cookie. But to my surprise, two cups of water was now in front of me. I blinked a couple of times and saw Ejikiel and Lucas handing out a cup of water for me.

I saw how Jennette tried to smile it out, but I knew for a fact that she was looking at Ejikiel's hand. I shook my head and gulped, and laughed awkwardly and took the cup that Jennette was also holding.

After doing that, Lucas and Ejikiel looked at each other. Lucas shrugged his shoulders and ended up drinking the water, still acting like he was cool with it.

After drinking it all up, I chuckled. "Seriously, I can get my own water. D-Dont get all worked up, right Jennette?" I smiled at Jennette, trying to lighten up the mood.

Soon then, Jennette also chuckled awkwardly and took a small bite on the cookie, with that being said Ejikiel and after that Lucas did the same.

A few minutes passed and the wind got stronger so I held onto my hat a bit tighter than before still listening to what Jennette was saying.

"W-What? Sorry, a bit windy. I can't understand–" I could not even finish what I was saying when Lucas leaned closer to my ear and whispered.

"She said that she wanted to make more cookies but she did not anticipate for us to finish it so quickly." After whispering those words, he backed away slowly with a smirk on his face. Why?

Maybe because I am now currenlty a freaking tomato!? This jerk! I took a deep breath with my tinted red cheeks and wandered my eyes around trying to find where the water was.

I saw how Jennette her thumbs up with the brightest and most supportive smile ever as I quickly gulped down the water down to my throat.

God, why is this even happening to me right now? This really kind of stressing me out!

While drinking the water, I forgot that I was holding my hat, it ended up flying away, both Ejikiel and Lucas stood up quickly and tried to catch it.

In the end, Lucas was the one who caught it. He used his magic to catch it and put it back on top of my head. Ejikiel did not complain, but I can see how displeased he was.

I shook my head and yet again tried to remove the awkwardness around us that is currently eating us up.

"Ah, it's kind of getting late. We should clean the mess, and also we have classes tomorrow-"

"You can tell us the truth." Lucas said with a chuckle, making me glare at him. "Yeah, yeah. I'll fix it-"

"I can also help you by cleaning Athanasia." Ejikiel butted in making Jennette and Lucas look at him. Oh God! I swear I am doing my best not to do a facepalm just because of them.

What kind of situation is this? I stood up properly and shook my hands at them. "Are you serious? This is not a competition or what, let's just clean this and have a good sleep for our classes are back at it again tomorrow."

They went silent, on their way Jennette acted like she was dizzy and Ejikiel quickly helped but as soon as I saw her putting up two of hee thumbs with a cheeky smile on hee face, I was surprised.

I do not even know if she is doing this for me, or she is doing that for her? I shook my head and continued walking obviously forgetting that Lucas was behind me also silently walking.

My eyes widened when I heard Lucas warmly and softly humming. But why? Why did I react in such a way?

Of course! He was humming that certain song that was also the exact song running in my mind! I gulped and blinked my eyes as it wandered around the peaceful sunset of their Academy.

"Lucas, w-where did you here that song you're humming? Or did you create it?" I asked him, still not looking at him. I do not know why but I did not have any strength to look at him.

"Actually, I don't know. Ever since I just started humming that certain melody I guess–" I looked at him over my shoulder and saw how he shrugged his shoulders with a smug look on his face. "–I don't even know how and when this started."

"I remember our topic about the songs–"

"Do you believe in that?"

The question made me stop walking for I suddenly felt like there was a very sharp SHARP pain across my chest.

I blinked my eyes a couple of times, I shook my head and took a deep breath and turned my head around with a cheeky smile plastered on my face.

"What do you think?" I smiled with closing my eyes because I couldn't bear it, looking at him.

"Oh, I thought that you believe in it." He chuckled, I quickly turned my head around without even giving him a single glance.

I quickly started to walk, I can even feel it how his look changed and how his steps started to change pace with mine.

And after that, he was already beside me, walking. I gulped and blinked quite faster than before.

"Are you ignoring me?"

"No." I bit my lower lip, still ignoring him who I do guess now has this confused look on his face.

"Then why can't you look at me?"

I took a deep breath and quickly looked at him, my eyes widened when I now saw how close the two of us are now.
