꧁☬⋆ᴺᴼ ᴼᴺᴱ'ˢ ᴾᴼᵛ⋆☬꧂
But then, WHAM! A roar of rage echoed from the Gryffindors below -- Marcus Flint had blocked Harry on purpose, and Harry's broom spun off course, Harry holding on for dear life.
You saw Marcus smirking after what he has done; you glared at him saw you glaring at him, which made his smirk eventually fell.
"Foul!" screamed the Gryffindors.
Madam Hooch spoke angrily to Flint and then ordered a free shot at the goalposts for Gryffindor. But in all the confusion, of course, the Golden Snitch had disappeared again.
Down in the stands, Dean Thomas was yelling, "Send him off, ref! Red card!"
"What are you talking about, Dean?" said Ron.
"Red card!" said Dean furiously. "In football, you get shown the red card, and you're out of the game!"
"But this isn't football, Dean," Ron reminded him.
Hagrid, however, was on Dean's side.
"They oughta change the rules. Flint coulda knocked Harry outta the air. "
Lee Jordan was finding it difficult not to take sides.
"So -- after that obvious and disgusting bit of cheating--"
"Jordan!" growled Professor McGonagall.
"I mean, after that open and revolting foul. . . "
"LEE! JUST DO YOUR WORK!" You growled at him, which made everyone stop cheering.
"All right, all right. Flint nearly kills the Gryffindor Seeker, which could happen to anyone, I'm sure, so a penalty to Gryffindor, taken by Spinner, who puts it away, no trouble, and we continue to play, to Gryffindor still in possession. "
You rolled your eyes and continued looking for the snitch.
But then you almost got hit a Bludger; you looked over the twins, and your eyes narrow at them.
"Sorry kitten!" Both of them said in unison,
Lee was still commentating.
"Slytherin in possession -- Flint with the Quaffle -- passes Spinnet -- passes Bell -- hit hard in the face by a Bludger, hope it broke his nose -- only joking, Professor, Y/N -- Slytherins score -- A no. . . "
The Slytherins were cheering. No one seemed to have noticed that Harry's broom was behaving strangely. It was carrying him slowly higher, away from the game, jerking and twitching as it went.
"Dunno what Harry thinks he's doing," Hagrid mumbled. He stared through his binoculars. "If I didn' know better, I'd say he'd lost control of his broom. . . but he can't have. . . "
Suddenly, people were pointing up at Harry all over the stands. His broom had started to roll over and over, with him only just managing to hold on. Then the whole crowd gasped. Harry's broom had given a wild jerk, and Harry swung off it. He was now dangling from it, holding on with only one hand.
"Did something happen to it when Flint blocked him?" Seamus whispered.
"Can't have," Hagrid said, his voice shaking. "Can't nothing interfere with a broomstick except powerful Dark magic -- no kid could do that to a Nimbus Two Thousand. "
You stopped, you saw someone muttering something. Even you're far away, you still can hear it.
You narrow your eyes at the teachers you noticed that Professor Snape was also muttering none stop and saw that he wasn't doing it because he's trying to stop Harry's broom moving.

He knows that you'll get worried over the Potter boy nonstop; he doesn't want you to get worried so much.
Then you finally saw who was doing it... Professor Quirrell...
You flew at the Slytherin crowd, "Knight!" You called your green-eyed friend.
"What!" You went to her and signaled her to come closer.
"Tell the others; someone is jinxing Harry's broom. Tell them its Professor Quirrell." You whispered to her ears; she nodded and ran to the Gryffindor crowd.
At these words, Hermione seized Hagrid's binoculars, but instead of looking up at Harry, she started looking frantically at the crowd.
"What are you doing?" moaned Ron, gray-faced.
Kayden Knight finally arrived at the Gryffindor placed, panting.
At these words, Hermione seized Hagrid's binoculars, but instead of looking up at Harry, she started looking frantically at the crowd.
"Guys-"
"I knew it," Hermione gasped, "Snape -- look. "
Ron grabbed the binoculars. Snape was in the middle of the stands opposite them. He had his eyes fixed on Harry and was muttering nonstop under his breath.
"It's not Professor Snape-"
"He's doing something -- jinxing the broom," said Hermione.
"What should we do?"
"Leave it to me. "
"What do you mean by "Leave it to me." Hermione!" Knight grabbed her shoulder.
"I'm going to stop him." Hermione stared at the green-eyed Slytherin.
"No, it's not him-"
"Are you being serious?! Knight, Snape is jinxing Harry's broom!"
"I know that!"
"Move."
Before Kayden could say another word, Hermione had disappeared. Kayden followed her.
Ron turned the binoculars back on Harry. His broom was vibrating so hard, and it was almost impossible for him to hang on much longer.
The whole crowd was on its feet, watching, terrified, as the Weasleys flew up to try and pull Harry safely onto one of their brooms, but it was no good - every time they got near him, the broom would jump higher still.
They dropped lower and circled beneath him, obviously hoping to catch him if he fell. Marcus Flint seized the Quaffle and scored five times without anyone noticing.
"Come on, Hermione," Ron muttered desperately.
Hermione and Kayden had fought their way across to the stand where Snape stood and was now racing along the row behind him; they didn't even stop to say sorry as she knocked Professor Quirrell headfirst into the row in front.
Reaching Snape, they crouched down, Hermione pulled out her wand, and whispered a few, well-chosen words.
"Please, think about this carefully." Kayden held Hermione's hand and squeezed it.
"I am certainly doing this if you tell the professor. It's fine for me because I'm only doing this for my friend." Both of them stared at each other eyes.
"But it's not Snape." Kayden breathed out.
"I saw him muttering." Kayden gave up and sighed.
Bright blue flames shot from Hermione's wand onto the hem of Snape's robes.
Meanwhile, to you, you saw what they did. You shook your head, knowing Hermione didn't believe at the Slytherin.
You flew at the teachers and pointed at Professor Snape, "Uncle!!! You're in fire!!!" You yelled.
Snape to realize that he was on fire. A sudden yelp from Hermione told her she had done her job and another sigh from the Slytherin bedside her.

Scooping the fire off him into a little jar in her pocket, she scrambled back along the row -- Snape would never know what had happened.
It was enough. Up in the air, Harry was suddenly able to clamber back on to his broom.
"Neville, you can look!" Ron said. Neville had been sobbing into Hagrid's jacket for the last five minutes.
Once his broom stopped acting, you both raced for the snitch. Yes, you wanted to win, but you don't want to play dirty.
In front of you was the snitch, and Harry was behind you, but he accidentally bumped your broom, which made you go forward.
But then you felt something in your mouth, the crowd saw you clap your hand to your mouth as though you were about to be sick, you hit the field on all fours -- coughed -- and something gold fell into your hand.
You gave a disgusted expression, then a smirk appeared, "I've got the Snitch!" You shouted, waving it above your head, and the game ended in complete confusion.
"She didn't catch it, she nearly swallowed it," Angelina said and crossed her arms.
Slytherin had won by one hundred and seventy points to sixty. You heard none of this, though. You were being made a cup of strong tea back in Hagrid's hut with Ron, Hermione, and Harry.
"It was Snape," Ron was explaining, "Hermione and I saw him. He was cursing your broomstick, muttering, he wouldn't take his eyes off you. "
"Rubbish," You said, you haven't said anything ever since you all arrived at the hut.
"Why would Snape do somethin' like that?" Said Hagrid.
Harry, Ron, Hermione and You looked at one another, wondering what to tell him. Harry decided on the truth.
"I found out something about him more likeY/N and I," he told Hagrid.
"He tried to get past that three-headed dog on Halloween. It bit him. We think he was trying to steal whatever it's guarding."
Hagrid dropped the teapot.
"How do you know about Fluffy?" he said, he looked at you, and you shook your head and mouthed 'it's not me.'
"Fluffy?" But you realized the name of the enormous dog you met before, which made you chuckled.
"Yeah -- he's mine -- bought him off a Greek chappie I met in the pub las' year -- I lent him to Dumbledore to guard the--"
"Yes?" said Harry eagerly.
"Now, don't ask me anymore," said Hagrid gruffly. "That's top-secret, that is. "
"But Snape's trying to steal it. "
"Rubbish," said Hagrid. "Snape's a Hogwarts teacher, he'd do nothin' of the sort. " you crossed your arm and nodded your head as you agree at your uncle.
"So why did he just try and kill Harry?" cried Hermione.
The afternoon's events certainly seemed to have changed her mind about Snape, even how much Kayden Knight told her it's not Snape, but Hermione keeps insisting that it's Snape.
"I know a jinx when I see one, Hagrid, I've read all about them! You've got to keep eye contact, and Snape wasn't blinking at all, I saw him!"
You sighed in frustration, and everyone looked at you.
'It's not him, jeez. When will you all realize that he's trying to save him from falling!' You thought you wanted to scream those words to them, but you know they will not believe you.
"I'm tellin' yeh, yer wrong!" said Hagrid hotly.
"I don' know why Harry's broom acted like that, but Snape wouldn' try an' kill a student! Now, listen to me, all three of yeh -- yer meddlin' in things that don' concern yeh. It's dangerous. You forget that dog, an' you forget what it's guardin', that's between Professor Dumbledore an' Nicolas Flamel--"
Aha!" said Harry, "so there's someone called Nicolas Flamel involved, is there?"
Hagrid looked furious with himself; you looked at them, confused.

"
You know you could have eaten more before you went to the game before, why would you try to eat the snitch." Ben laughed along with the others.
"Shut up; it was an accident. Harry accidentally bumped my broom, which made me go forward." I rolled my eyes.
Kay/Ken told me that she told Hermione that it wasn't Snape when she went to them, but she didn't listen.
"You know, Christmas is coming soon," Easton said as he fixed his glasses.
"Come to think of this... I heard that Father Christmas comes down the chimney in muggle world... And what if it's just a muggle conspiracy to cover that father Christmas is a wizard traveling by floo powder!" Knight dropped her spoon after what she discovered.
"Oh, Salazar-"
"No, no, Ken is telling the truth! What if father Christmas is actually a wizard!" Henry and Ben's jaw dropped, the other students on our table laughed.
Easton and I shook our heads from disappointment.
"I have no idea why you're higher than me in studies, Ken, " Easton sighed as he rubbed his temples in embarrassment.
"Mails here!!"
All the owls and a falcon. Flew towards us, I saw Red flying towards me.
"I wonder who sent me a letter."
Once Red landed in front of me at the table, he dropped a letter.
"Dear sweetheart.
Days have passed; we still can't get over that we will see each other soon.
We love you so much; I hope you are not creeped out by the letters we sent you.
From,
Anonymous."
These anonymous people have been sending me letters, and they tell me how they are so excited about meeting me.
"Ow, this sucks, I have to go home at the Holidays." Henry sigh, the others said that they'd be going home too.
"Yeah... Sure... Go home." Knight stared at her letter.
"Is there something wrong?" I asked.
"Nope, " she grinned.
"Ken, wanna come to my house at the Holiday?" Henry spoke out of nowhere.
We all looked at him, "sure, why not. I'll tell my parents first." She smiled at him.
"Why bother to invite the genderless Slytherin." Draco rolled his eyes.
"Draco, stop being mean." I scowled at him.
"Sorry." He mumbled.
"How about you, Y/N?" Ben asked.
"Hogwarts is my home; I live here."
"No, I meant is, if you're allowed to go on holiday to our home." Easton smiled.
"Oh, about that, I don't know." I shrug.

Dream Dungeon
Welcome to the dream dungeon. Ely suddenly finds himself in a mysterious dungeon accessed only through sleeping. Many people are drawn into this dream world, confused and mystified. Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
