Taehyung can't believe his eyes. Jungkook punched a guy who was just sitting on a bar stool. He runs to Jungkook as soon as possible through the sea of crowd, lisa closely following. By the time he got there, Hoseok and Yoongi has Jungkook on a hold and other's man is pulled out by his friend.
"What the fuck is wrong with you? How dare you hit me??"
"What crap were you saying about my friend!! Yoongi let me go. I'm gonna kill him." Jungkook growled and everyone could see the the other man's face turned pale.
"Jungkook stop this. Enough now." Yoongi said harshly. Then he looked at the strangers. "I'll apologize for my friend. But it seems you are in the wrong too. Let's just forget this happened and get lost." Yoongi says sternly and the man's friend dragged him away.
"Jungkookie what happened?" Jimin asks gently. "N-nothing.. let's just forget about this shit ok. You go and have fun." Jungkook replies with a faint smile and empties another drink.
"I think that's enough drinks for one day" A voice startled the 4 friends and they all turns to see Taehyung and Lisa standing there.
"Taehyung. I didn't know you were here." Hoseok greeted the other.
"Yeah. I came to meet a friend. By the way, good drama Kookie" Taehyung seems bit angry and others didn't know what to say. They were bit concerned about how Jungkook's gonna react. The boy was drunk after all.
Jungkook looked at Taehyung for few seconds. And then he walked up to him and hugged him. Taehyung was suprised. After few seconds, he wrapped his arms around the younger boy too. He missed his boyfriend's warmth for so long.
"Now?? You hug me now?? When you are drunk?" Taehyung whispered while tightening his hold on Jungkook.
"I'm sorry Tae. I'm so sorry. For everything." Jungkook says once he pulled out of the embrace, they keep their hands connected.
"I know Kookie. I know. It's ok. I'm sorry too." Taehyung gently caressed Jungkook's face and Jungkook leaned in to his hand.

"Will you take me home Tae?"
Taehyung looked at Lisa. "No worries Tae. I can hangout with them." Lisa assures him. Taehyung says goodbye to others and leaves the club with Jungkook.
"I guess that went well?" Hoseok says looking at others. "Yeah, guess so. Come on guys. Let's enjoy." Lisa finds her way to the dance floor and other three flow.
Taehyung and Jungkook slowly walks to the car. Taehyung wants to kiss Jungkook so badly but not when Jungkook is drunk. They got in to the car and Jungkook leans his head on the window and closes his eyes.
"Kookie, hey are you sleeping?? You have to tell me your address." Taehyung gently taps the younger boy.
"Why?" Jungkook turns his head to look and Taehyung.
"You said to take you home. I don't know where it is." Taehyung replies.
"Your home Tae. Not mine. Wake me when we get there ok." Jungkook mumbled sleepily and turns to the window again.
Taehyung feels happy to know that even though Jungkook is drunk, he knows he's safe at Taehyung's house.
Car ride to Taehyung's house is in silence. Jungkook has fallen asleep almost immediately and Taehyung doesn't bother him. Instead he uses this chance to look at him as much as he can with driving.
Once they are home, Taehyung wakes up Jungkook and both of them get inside.
"Kookie are you hungry? You want me to make something for you?"
"No. Can I have something to change in to?"
"Sure. You can use the guestroom. I'll get you the other stuff."
"No. Your room is fine. Just put them on the bed. I'll wash up then." Jungkook goes to the bathroom leaving Taehyung very suprised.
Taehyung leaves a sweatpants and a loose tshirt on the bed for Jungkook and takes cloths for himself too. It seems that Jungkook is very much drunk. Maybe Taehyung should sleep in the guest bedroom.
Taehyung takes a shower in the guestroom and comes back to check on Jungkook. And he sees the younger boy already on his bed, sleeping. He has his phone in his hand and Taehyung removes it and places it on the bedside table.

Taehyung kisses Jungkook's forehead and whispers a goodnight and turns to leave the room but Jungkook grabs his hand, stopping him.
"Stay. Sleep here." Jungkook mumbles sleepily.
"I'll sleep in the guestroom." Taehyung replies.
"No. Sleep with me."
"It's not right Kookie. You're drunk."
"Not like that Tae. I won't try anything. Just sleep beside me ok."
"Oh..ok." Taehyung climbs in to the bed and lay beside Jungkook, facing away from him. He tries to sleep but the fact that the love of his life is sleeping beside him is making him nervous. After few minutes, he feels Jungkook's hand wrapping around himself and pulling him close, spooning him.
"Did you let anyone else be the big spoon?" Jungkook whispers in to Taehyung's ear.
"No." Taehyung whispers back.
"Good. Relax and sleep. We'll talk tomorrow ok. Good night." Taehyung finally falls asleep, feeling the sweet music of Jungkook's heart, beating against his back.
Jungkook wakes up in the morning with a bit of a headache. He looks around in the unfamiliar bedroom and memories of last night flashes in his mind. Jungkook checks the time to see that it's bit pass 9 in the morning.
He goes to the bathroom to freshen up before heading out to find Taehyung. When he was walking towards the kitchen, he hears two people talking. Jungkook immediately stops and can't help but hearing the conversation.
"Tae just listen to me please"
"I didn't know you felt that way about me Bogum. I'm sorry if I ever lead you that way."
"You know what Tae, I'm tried of pretending. I liked you from the moment I saw you. But you were so closed off to people that I thought I'll first try to be your friend. I was ready to wait even after I got to know about your past. Just how long are you gonna wait for your long lost love???"
"But he's not.."
"No please listen to what I'm saying Tae. How do you know he's coming back.."
"You don't understand..."
"JUST SHUT UP AND LISTEN!!. you don't know whether he's coming back or even if he still loves you. Why are you waiting for someone like that?? I'm right here. I know that you never thought about me in a romantic way because I never told you how I feel. But now you know. Just give me a chance Tae. I won't hurt you like him. Does he even know how much you suffered because of him? How much you cried??"
"Please stop Bogum."
"And even if he comes back, how do you know that he won't do the same again? How do you know that he won't runaway the next time someone stands too close to you huh?"
"We were just kids back then Bogum. Neither of us knew better. We were just not thinking straight. And it's not his fault only. I'm to be blamed too."
"And you have been blaming yourself for too long. Just let go of the past and start over."
"I can't.."
"No don't give your answer now. Just think about it for sometime ok. I'll call you in a few days."
"My answer is not gonna change Bogum. I'm sorry."
"No. Just think it over ok. If you considered me as a friend, just try to give me a honest chance too. You trust me right. I won't hurt you. Promise that you'll think it through."
"I..I.. ok. I wish this didn't happen. I love you as a friend and I don't want to see you hurt. I'm sorry Bogum."
Jungkook moved hurriedly to Taehyung's bedroom before either of them could see him. He sat on the bed as a troubling thought came to his mind. Taehyung may not know this. But what Bogum predicted, already happened.
Jungkook already ran away the first moment he saw someone standing too close to Taehyung.
Is he really the best choice for Taehyung??

The Infinite Labyrinth
(Story complete - Book 1 "Shanghaied", 2 "Shortcuts", 3 "Secrets" and 4 "Sanctions") It is the 19th century, and war smoulders between England and France. Any hope for a quick end to Napoleon's rampage across Europe ended when the Great Gates opened in 1800. For a fortunate few, the strange world of the Infinite Labyrinth offers opportunities, strange descriptors popping in their minds, informing them of growth, and status beyond that of a mere mortal. The materials and power crystal they bring back foster a new age, both military and civilian. Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. The Tyrant of the Dominion of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, has a plan. Eighteen years after the world changed, he will force it to change again. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
