3 torturous hours of going from one shop to another, looking for a damn dress.Elaina and I have been whining and complaining about our feet hurting but they seriously can't hear us. Bella and Simone easily found a dress for themselves but we couldn't find a dress for Elaina and I that we liked. It was either we didn't like it or they didn't like it.

"Can we pleaseeeee just eat first" Elaina whined for the millionth time today

"Okay!! Okay!! Just shut upppp" Simone says making Elaina light up

"YES!!!" Elaina ran towards a restaurant and Bella and Simone went after her. I walked in a normal pace and as I was walking I saw a dress that caught my eye.

I went to check the price and sighed looking at how expensive it was. I turned back around when I heard my name being called

"Wait! Verdana!"

I turned around to see Julie walking up to me. I am shocked. A guy has his arm around her and at first I thought it was one of her man whores but I realized that this guy seems different. I don't know how to explain it but he's not like other guys.

"Hey...you looking for prom dresses?" Julie asks with a gentle voice

"Uhm yeah" i reply still shocked

"Will could you leave us for a while?" Julie asks the guy

"Of course." He says smiling. He whispers a good luck to her and kisses her forehead before walking away

"So uhm...I know this is quite awkward but uhm I just wanted to say I'm sorry." She says

"I'm sorry for always taking Daniel away from you, for ruining your life, for bein such a bitch. I'm really sorry." She says with tears in her eyes

"I just...I loved Daniel. I did cheat on him multiple times but he doesn't care. You see when Daniel first asked me out, we were the perfect couple and I fell in love with that. But then you stopped your friendship with him and that broke him. He would constantly whine and mourn over your broken friendship. One day though some of his "friends" brought him to a club and got him drunk, he fucked some girl and he got addicted. One time while we were getting heated he said your name...not mine. I got so mad because you were all he could think about. I went with other guys, cheated on him, I did whatever just to get his attention." She says

"Daniel never loved me...but I couldn't let myself accept that. So I tried so hard to fight for our relationship...but nothing will work. He loves you too much." She says and I can't help but hug her tightly.

She did all that because of love.

"I'm so sorry" she says hugging me back and crying

"Well...love makes you do crazy things" I say and she nods her head

"Yeah. It really does" She says

"I don't expect you to forgive me but I hope you know I'm so very sorry" she says

"I've moved on. I met William and I like him. Daniel's all yours." She says and I smile at her

"Julie...I believe everyone deserves a second chance. I know there's good in new and I know that we can be friends. You're a great girl." I say and she hugs me again

"V you're the best. No wonder Daniel loves you so much" She says and I chuckle

"I hope you'll find happiness and love with William. You guys seem super great and cute together" I say

"I hope so too. I hope that you and Daniel will be together forever and have a happy family." She says and I smile

"I hope so too." I say

"Oh gosh. I must look like a mess" she says trying to wipe her face with her hands. I chuckle and give her my handkerchief and she smiles thankfully

"So...have you found a dress?" She asks once she finished wiping away her makeup

"No...I like this one but it's soooo expensive. I can't afford it." I sigh holding the dress

"Well at least try it on" She says and ushers me to the changing room. I laugh and agree to do it.

I slipped on the dress and went out to show her. She gasps and smiles widely

"It looks AMAZING on you." She says

"You think so?" I say spinning around

"Yes!!! You look gorgeous. Daniel won't be able to take himself off you" She says giggling. I giggle with her but soon frown in disappointment

"It does look great but I just can't afford it." I say and she frowns

"That's too bad..." She says and I shrug. I go inside and take a look one more time

Julie was right, I look amazing. The dress was strapless and gold on top, it was a shiny kind of gold. On the bottom it was super soft, flowy and not too puffy. The dress was simple, yet super beautiful.

I took it off though and went outside

"Well...I gotta go. My friends are waiting for me" I say putting the dress on the rack

"Yeah same. William must be waiting." She says and hugs me one more time

"I'm so glad you and I can be friends now V...I've been missing out on one of the greatest friends I could ever make, well that's what everyone says" she says

"Me too Julie." I say smiling widely. We exchanged phone numbers, promising to keep in touch and talk to each other. I start walking away waving bye at her and she does the same.

I told the girls all about it and they celebrated the fact Julie won't be a threat to Daniel and I's relationship anymore. We were all so happy. After the rest of the day we were able to find everyone's dress but mine. We decided to try again another time and head home.

As I approached my doorstep, I saw a paper bag by the door. The words: "To Verdana" were written on the front. I opened it and saw the dress from earlier today. I gasped as I realized it was the same dress I tried on from the same brand. It was here. In my doorstep. All paid for. Only one person could do this and I smiled at the thought and immediately took the dress and went up to my room. I texted the girls saying I found a dress and they texted back asking how. I told them I'll tell them tomorrow and proceeded to text the person who bought me this dress
